This is not a review about Metropolitan Hospital but a review about the Cafe France there. I love carbonara, I don't hide it, when there is a chance I eat carbonara; however the carbonara in Cafe France was absolutely disgusting and overpriced, I paid 225 pesos to get a plate of creamy truffle carbonara, but what I got was a very small portion of the actual noodles and four sticks of bread, the portion of the bread was so small the bread took most of the plate, then I tried it. The noodles were too oily because of the truffle oil and the bread was very old and very hard to swallow. In China there is an egg called "century egg" then I thought to myself: "In France did they do the exact same thing but with bread, because if they did. Cafe France did a terrific job of recreating a bread that is 100 years old" So for me that was disgusting, I also ordered chicken because of the failure of a carbonara. The chicken was dried, dehydrated, salty, hard to chew, and just as terrible as the carbonara, and the vegetables that came with it tastes like burnt plastic. If you're asking me if I recommend it. Simply NO, do I advice you to eat there. It's your choice. read more
