We had several windows installed which required some trim painting. I decided to change the trim color. Now it's a way bigger job. And it's August. What are the chances of getting that finished before the cold sets in? Metropolitan answered our emails and phone calls and got the job done. Rafael also advised we do a coat on the house which was totally the right call. In addition they also repaired a lot of the sills which the installer missed. I found Rafael through reviews on Yelp and couldn't have been happier with how the whole project went. I had just purchased a fixer upper and was in desperate need of help with installing and plastering a ceiling and a whole apartment paint job. He was very responsive and quick to answer, such a friendly guy! He gave me a quote that was very reasonable compared to other quotes I had recieved- we set a timeline and a budget, and he got straight to work! From day one, I could tell him and his team were very detailed and meticulous with their work- they check and double check their work to ensure it keeps up with the quality they want their company to be associated with. He Was always in communication with me, and kept me up to date with how we were doing on schedule. Even when things came up (like when a part of my ceiling kept peeling despite using a few different type of primers) and it was decided I would need to hang drywall up, he was very upfront about costs and went over different solutions for me. We hired Rafael and his crew a few months ago to repair some cracked walls in our upstairs hallway and bedrooms because our house is over 100 years old and the walls were made of horse hair plaster and cracking everywhere. We hired MPP to paint our newly constructed porch. Rafael was responsive to my initial request and I thought the price was very fair after getting 3-4 other quotes. The crew came as scheduled and did an amazing job. I was nervous about the paint job since it is a brand new porch, but MPP exceeded expectations. Rafael and his team were hired to tear down the ceiling of our master bedroom, install soundproofing materials from an entirely separate company, and put up a brand new ceiling, including drywall, plaster, paint, and crown molding. They did an incredible, thoughtful and meticulous job. As someone who is very attentive to details, we was so pleased and impressed by the careful work these guys did. Prior to the job, Rafael researched the soundproofing materials that we purchased for this job to ensure he was going into this with all the knowledge he could possibly have.
