I cannot rave enough about Mario and his team - I would give them 500 stars if I could! We had almost our entire home painted before moving in - walls, trim, ceilings, closets, just everything. The attention to detail was beyond - Mario and his team scraped and plastered and patched so that the walls and all the rough areas (including some closets that needed a ton of work) look like new construction (the home is almost 100 years old). They took the doors off of cabinets and sanded and then painted. They sanded all of the baseboards and trim before priming and painting. We had them remove this falling-apart wallpaper in one room, and it looks like new walls now also. The hinges on the doors were half-covered with paint, and when Mario's guys saw them, they offered to paint them entirely or get the paint off of them (by soaking? I don't know) - we opted for the latter and they came out GORGEOUS. The home also had some sort of dark finish on the trim and doors on the second floor, and we wanted it white. Mario's also did an incredible job with that. I told him and his team that they were like artists - their work was simply perfection, the attention to detail everything I could have hoped for. Oh, and at the end, the clean up was spectacular. As if they hadn't gone beyond already! I just feel so lucky we came across them and went with them when we chose painters, and I cannot wait to hire them to start on the outside of the home. Mario and team, thank you thank you. Mario's team did significant exterior carpentry and paint work on our brownstone condo building. He was extremely responsive to additional requests and able to accommodate expansion of work and the team was diligent and thorough in execution of the work. Further the quote and price of the work was extremely reasonable and quality was still superb! In the front, they scraped and prepped the entryway, front door, and 2nd floor bay window as well as removing and patching the transom frame to open the space up--they then painted everything including the window trim across all three floors. In the rear of the home they scraped our wood siding and replaced any rotted wood with PVC, then repainted in a color drench. The team also removed a wood basement entry structure that was rotting in the back and replaced with a newly framed door. Lastly the team also removed old and installed new custom basement windows in the front granite of our home including new trim and waterproofing, as well as painting. The team also did small finishing touches at no extra charge including installing a new entry light and hanging window boxes. There were holes in the walls from careless past tenants and you'd never know they were ever there with the seamless work they did. Had water damage from a broken water line. From their initial visit it was clear Mario and his son knew what they were doing. They identified all necessary work, provided a detailed estimate and timeline. Price was at or below other estimates I received. They ended up being able to start earlier than they promised, finished ahead of schedule, and stuck to their price. Great communication throughout the process. It is clear they take pride in their work. They took care of a few fiddly items outside of their scope that made a big difference in the final quality that I wouldn't even have known to ask for. We had just a small hole in the wall that needed repairing and painting and the entire process was so painless, due entirely to the professionalism and attention to detail of Mario and his team. He was responsive, timely and clear in his communications in providing a quote and setting up the job. I live out of state so it's always a little complicated to have jobs done on the apartment but they showed up on time, got the key from the doorman as instructed, completed the job quickly, and sent photos of the excellent work afterwards. When arranging these types of jobs, there's usually something that goes wrong or is misunderstood but I can honestly say everything went exactly right and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any future projects. read more

We used Mario's Professional Painting to repaint the walls, trim, and baseboards, as well as a built-in table, in our kitchen (and also to repair a few small damaged areas elsewhere in our condo - a last-minute add-on, for which Mario added almost nothing to the contract price). Mario's estimate, submitted to us nearly a year before we were ready for the job to begin, was carefully prepared and clearly presented to us, and the price was very reasonable. The quality of the prep work and the painting was truly outstanding. The team of two (sometimes three) painters who did the work was courteous and professional. All of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts were removed and taken to the company's workshop, where they were sanded and then spray painted. All of the floor and window glass areas were carefully covered so that there is not a drop of paint on any of them now that the job is done. The original paint colors, which we wanted to replicate, had been applied before we bought the condo, and we had little information on them, but Mario was able to match the colors perfectly. Best of all, one of the hinges on a bi-fold corner cabinet door was broken, and because all of the cabinetry had been installed when the condo was built nearly 30 years ago, it was not easy to find a replacement for it. Mario spent hours calling and driving to suppliers in the Boston area and eventually found the replacement part, so that the door now works like new, and a lot better than before we had the kitchen painted. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for over a year because everyone I walk into my kitchen and see my beautifully painted cabinets, I think of Mario and the amazing work his team did! When I was first gathering quotes, Mario's was very reasonable but I found someone cheaper so I went with them. That was a HUGE mistake! The other guy painted my kitchen cabinets, but didn't care about the finish, left huge brush marks, painted shut one cabinet, and it just looked terrible. I called Mario up wondering if he could save them and fix all of the other guy's mistakes and he did just that. His team provided an incredibly smooth, professional finish and were very communicative and easy to work with. Mario's a great guy and really cares about the quality of his work. Mario and his team painted our entire two floor home in South Boston. Him and his father came to look at the property before giving a quote. They were incredibly kind when we met them. He got back to us with a quote in a timely manner and the quote was clearly laid out. The job took about a week. During this week Mario kept us updated on how things were going and sent us pictures (they also watered our plants while we were gone). When we came back, his team actually helped us carry our luggage inside. The finished product was wonderful. A professional paint job and our house was completely clean like they had never been there. Touch-ups are included in the service so if you notice something, they will send someone out to fix.
