I've read the other reviews, and I feel like it's a misrepresentation of the "familial" vibe. While the office in Woodbridge is tired-looking, I think Dr. Marfeet took this office space primarily for consultations and to make it more convenient for his patients. So, I'd like to share my experience. I went to several doctors before choosing Dr. Marfeet. The other locations were cold...and I felt like just a number. On my first visit with Dr. Marfeet, he covered the procedure with me and explained his experience, told me of the risks, and gave me some things to expect. We then talked about payment options. He broke down the cost for me and was completely transparent. There was no rush. He worked with my pace and comfort level. And his pricing was BY FAR the most reasonable I had seen. Roya, his sister, is his secretary, and she further gave me some additional advice and explained all the medications I would be taking and recommended how much time I should take off from work. I went back for several appointments before and after the procedure, always remembered, and always left feeling like my questions were answered. Dr. Marfeet is a confident man, and I can see how some people believe that to be arrogance. To me, that gave me confidence to go under anesthesia for the first time in my adult life and to trust him with a life transformation. I am SO happy with the results! Dr. Marfeet gave me exactly what I wanted. He listened. Also, when I had a bad reaction to one of the post-op medicines, I called him to tell him what happened. He gave me his personal cell phone number, and I was able to text/call him at any time, and he ALWAYS got back to me. What kind of doctor does that? I got a rhinoplasty with Dr. Saeed Marefat. The day I got my cast removed I had tears of joy. Dr. Marefat had fixed my concerns with my nose like he said he would and made it look just the way I was hoping it to. I could not be happier with my results and the entire process. Before going through this experience with Dr. Marefat, I was not really comfortable with plastic surgery and was dreading it. However, I would do the whole thing over again in a heartbeat. I was referred to Dr. Marefat by the ER doctor at Inova Alexandria Hospital - and I am so grateful. I went to the ER with a major infection in my hand and they recommended that I see him ASAP. I called his office the next day and they scheduled me for an office visit later that same day, and ended up performing minor surgery on the spot. I went for a consultation late morning. My husband went with me. There were no other patients in the office. We were greeted by the receptionist (his wife?) and filled out some paperwork. We then went into an exam room. We were surprised to see a needle in a bottle of Xylocaine on the counter. Dr. Marafet came in and we began talking about what I wanted to have done. He was very nice and knowledgeable however he had dirty fingernails and before he handed me the mirror he had to clean it with sterile pads because it was dirty. After the consultation we were waiting for the financial information and we heard clipping sounds. A few minutes later the doctor walked across the hall with fingernail clippers in hand. Nadia then took us to another room to discuss the financial details. She sang his praises & told us about her laser treatment for acne scars. You can read her review here on Yelp. We both would bet money that she is his daughter and the receptionist is her mother. Everyone was very nice, enthusiastic. However the big turnoff was the lack of cleanliness and the lack of any other clients & the odd feeling it was a family business rather than a medical practice. read more

Hidden gem in Falls Church! Dr. Marefat and his staff are exceptional. I chose Dr. Marefat based on a referral from a close friend and was not led astray. I have never had a doctor take his time and explain everything to me the way he did. Most consults seemed rushed and this was not the case. There was no pressure during or after the consultation, which I cannot say about any other plastic surgeons. The process elsewhere seemed rushed and more like buying a used car. Dr. Marefat took his time and the results have been AMAZING. Dr. Marefat was not satisfied until my results were natural and perfect for me. Dr. Marefat mentioned he was also a sculptor and artist, and I could imagine using anyone else. While I respect others opinion on the office, I choose to review/ evaluate a plastic surgeon based on my results. read more

I just had Dr. Marefat do a procedure called Micro Needling with Radio Frequency Laser which is a resurfacing of the face and neck dramatically helping the production of collagen, getting rid of wrinkles and sagging skin. Dr. Marefat is an expert and very patient with his patients. I easily bruise and the recovery time is usually longer for me but within a week I no longer had any swelling or redness and now three weeks later my skin glows as it has not done in quite a while. I highly recommend Dr. Marefat and I am always impressed how kind, calm and professional he is with all his patients. If ever I do a facelift it will be with Dr. Marefat. read more
