First, the planning process with Anna was very easy; she offers a few packages to suit your budget, and she was willing to travel to Chicago to check out our unique first look location prior to the wedding. Upon meeting Anna in person, we knew we hired the right person: she is very warm, kind, and immediately understood what we wanted to capture on our wedding day. The day of the wedding, Anna and her husband Paul very efficiently (it was VERY HOT out) were able to take our first look, bridal party, and family photos. Upon going into the ceremony, both my husband and I completely forgot Anna and Paul were there... they were not in our face, and we got to enjoy our wedding night without feeling like we were always posing for photos. Okay, so here is the kicker... it's not the staged photos that blew our minds (they are perfect and lovely), but the spontaneous and natural photos. Anna captured the moments that no one else saw: the gestures between bride/groom/bridal party, the laughter, the nerves, and most importantly all the joy and love in the room. Every single photo we received was perfect. And we received them within a few weeks from our wedding! I cannot recommend Anna Guziak enough as a wedding photographer. Our photos turned out beautiful, and I am so happy that we will have them forever: we get to relive the best night of our lives for the rest of our lives.

I met Sara at her studio for a "quick" interview to go over all the questions I had and to see if she was the right fit for our wedding....2 hours later I left feeling soooo comfortable, as if I just met a friend for coffee. She answered all my questions, and we even talked shop for awhile. She flew out to our island destination wedding and covered our 3 day event. She and her husband (her assistant) quickly immersed themselves, and several people that she was my friend and invited to the wedding. That said, I've never done anything like this, so I brought All. The. Outfits. Sarah took over as soon as I arrived, laid everything out and asked what pieces I truly loved and what was just okay. She listened to my opinions, and suggested some of her own ideas. She was very intentional with her framing, which background was best with different outfits, etc. She was so professional and had such a great eye for what worked for me that I trusted her judgement immediately.
