My husband and I decided 4 months before our wedding to add video vendor services as most friends said it was their biggest regret to not have. WCP offers both photo and video packages but also different price points if you hire Sam/Katie or a Junior Associate. We loved that there was a value option for us to include video. Jamie was our Junior Associate. He came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and I see why! His bubbly personality was a welcome addition day of to keep the energy high and make the documented moments feeling authentic and intentional. He went above and beyond with capturing drone footage and every wedding moment start to finish. After our big day, Sam edited our video to deliver a 2 minute teaser, 8 minute video capture, and provided us all raw footage. On top of this, they give couples the option to select songs. Our video was ready in about 6 weeks which was exactly in the middle of the proposed delivery timeline discussed. All email outreaches were responses to within 24 hours. They are simply good people to work with and were a great addition to our wedding vendor team! Tip: They offer a 5% discount with all cash payments.

They had the best prices, and I appreciated that they didn't require the full payment till 2 weeks after the wedding. Communication is done directly with the owner until about a month prior; she contacts you and gives you your photographer info. I then set up a time to meet with my photographer. Katie C. She was AMAZING. Her work was beautiful. So amazing that my sister in law is special requesting her for her own wedding next year. (Still have fingers crossed!) We received our photos 14 days after the wedding, and we were able to download all of them to our computer! Highly suggest this company! Side note. I have SERIOUS anxiety with my dog around strangers and Katie was amazing and handled me (and the dog) like a champ!

As a bride, I know minimum reviews or a small portfolio may keep you from reaching out to a photographer or videographer, but I'm so glad that we found Rolando! I can gush forever about his photography skills which are amazing! I did a lot of research before stumbling upon Rolando's Wedding Wire reviews (http://www.weddingwire.com/biz/andrade-photography-naperville/3db700ec6787445d.html) then I checked out his blog (http://www.photographybyandrade.com/blog) and then my (now) husband and I met Rolando at a Starbucks for an introductory meeting. Spoiler alert: we booked on-the-spot. Rolando offered a great package at a competitive price. We booked about 7 months in advance. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, Rolando would reach out to us from time-to-time to check in, and asked us about our photo style, asked us to make a list of specific moments we wanted him to capture (we actually never did the list), and yet I can't think of any moments that Rolando may have missed. He was always accessible via email, phone or text. Our package included an engagement session, which was so much fun, despite the freezing weather, and afterwards, we felt even more reassured that we made the right choice in picking Rolando because he was so passionate and creative about his photography, professional, and down-to-earth. The day of the wedding, Rolando arrived at least 30 minutes earlier than he said he would, and his helper, the second photographer, also arrived early at the groom's house. Rolando was so flexible with all the events throughout the day. (He walked with me and my caravan family to church (about a 10-minute walk in a residential area), hauling his equipment in a suitcase and capturing photos along the way --(something our videographer, separate company, wasn't willing to do). He also joined us in the party bus, then photos at the park, and stayed until like 10:30 PM, (or later?) at the hall. (Rolando had agreed to stay until we said it was okay to leave, or at least until all the traditional events had taken place such as the garter toss, bouquet toss, etc.) If you're still looking for a photographer, you should just call Rolando now and pray that he's not booked yet. Our experience with AVS has been great. We only utilized their VHS services, but the owner, Matt,…read moremade it a smooth, enjoyable experience. The AVS website is easy to navigate and offers a variety of ways to get your VHS tapes to them, though we elected for drop-off/pick-up since we are reasonably close by. Matt was able to transfer about 15 irreplaceable home movies to DVD. He was also able to repair 5 of the tapes that we thought were beyond repair. Each DVD came numbered, had a personalized cover with a title, and was included in a hard case for storage. This was unexpected but very welcome. We did end up having a few minor quaility issues with a couple of the DVDs, but Matt courteously took them back and redid the movies. He was professional and respectful the entire time. I have to stress this point: AVS is the absolute most afforable VHS transfer and repair service I found in all of Northern Illinois. The rates are incredibly reasonable, especially compared to several way-overpriced competitors, and the product and service quality is great. I was happy to support a great small business, and I highly recommend AVS for your VHS transfer and/or repair needs.
