Turns out that was not the case as it was limited to an EKG, which was performed by a person reading from a manual. Office manager apologized as they have new people. In a later conversation the next day, the doctor also apologized while offering me the same excuse though refusing to order the tests from an outside provider saying I should go back to the surgeon, who himself advised me to have my provider perform them. Today I received a call from Family Medicine of Malta with the results of my lab (blood) testing. I never had blood work done there! They confused someone's blood with me, who never had any blood drawn. Oh My!

She is extremely thorough remembers what we discussed during my last visit and has been very accurate in her diagnosis. On a side note she also remembers my family members and always asks about my adult children who live out of state. This is a very busy practice and if you have a minor problem and need to be seen that day the nurse practitioner is always available, but if you have a more serious concern as I recently did Dr. Cotugno will find the time to see you ASAP. I call him back today and I'm just informed that they are no longer taking new patients and that I cannot become a new patient, but yeah, I was told a month ago that they were taking new patients. The woman that I spoke to said oh there's so much going on that. He's no longer taking new patients till summer but yet no one called me in the meantime to tell me that and I was waiting for an appointment well I think it's a blessing in disguise because honestly the office staff wasn't very nice.
