I've had good experiences with my primary care physician. For one thing, he's not quick to push new…read moreprescriptions and he doesn't overreact to issues that you bring. And I never feel rushed; we cover all my questions, and his, with no apparent eye on the clock. The nurses and physician's assistant have been fine to deal with, too. When I've wanted something quickly like a flu shot, I get a reasonably quick appointment. Another review mentions doctors not taking new patients. Sadly, that's a problem all over Saratoga Springs. I carefully interviewed friends for recommendations a few years back and every practice I called was closed to new patients. Someone suggested my current physician and luckily he had moved in recently and wasn't yet to capacity. I consider myself lucky to have gotten in with him. But, my point is that it's hard to find a doctor in this town and that's not a reason to downgrade the rating here.

It would start racing for no reason and I had an abnormal EKG. This is very concerning. The doctor said that she wanted to run some tests and for me to see a cardiologist, which was the right call. HOWEVER, the nursing staff never sent over my referral to the cardiologist. I called the cardiologist and they said that the referral had to come from my physician's office in order to make an appointment. I called my doctors office back and they said "we will do it right away." I went back and forth calling the cardiologist and my doctor's office trying to get the script over, so that I could see the cardiologist to figure out what was going wrong with my heart for 3 WEEKS. A nurse would say that she would send the script over and then just not do it. I am not kidding. And then, my doctors office had the audacity to send me a letter saying that "I was not compliant with their instructions and they let go of any liability if I die or become seriously harmed because I didn't follow their instructions." I immediately switched doctors.

This building includes my mom's physician and several associated labs. I want to state first that…read moreshe has always received excellent treatment here. My issues are more with the process. The building itself is nicely laid out, with large, clean elevators, hallways, and seating areas. The complimentary WiFi is a plus too. I wish they were using a waiting-room procedure similar to what they are doing at many offices downstate, i.e., you call from your car, and they call you back when they are ready for you, eliminating the need to wait in the waiting room. But I guess they've done the next best things. They've removed a lot of the chairs to promote distancing, and they've also removed reading materials. So it's you and a couple of other people in distant corners looking at your phone or twiddling your thumbs. Once something becomes large and structured staging can become an issue and a time-waste. My mom reports sometimes having to wait for someone in an examination room as long as 20 minutes or more. I'd like to say that this is an exception to the norm, but I can't. There's also occasionally glitches in the transfer of paperwork between these offices and nearby Saratoga Hospital. Sometimes communications are within a couple of minutes, other times it can be a day or two before things get received and acknowledged. It's not anything I would consider show-stopping or worth taking business elsewhere, just occasionally frustrating.

I was called by the Community Care Physicians in the Saratoga office to schedule an appointment, I did not call them for the appointment. I hadn't been there for just over a year so I made the appointment thinking it was a routine annual visit. I was not told about any possible charges that would not be covered by insurance. There was nothing remarkable about the visit with a PA. The PA was pleasant but I was not impressed with his fund of knowledge. I get a bill with 2 service codes one of which is not recognized by Medicare. Again there was nothing with the encounter to warrant this. I'm being billed $300 as a result of this. For over 3 weeks and multiple calls I have not received any explanation or call back. I have requested copies of my records which have not been provided. I have reported this to Medicare who feels there is reason to open a fraud investigation, which is being done. Medical practices should not be a source of stress, especially for seniors. I have experienced occasions when a test or exam was not going to be covered by Medicare and was informed before the test or exam. I have seen multiple renowned physicians at some of the finest hospitals in Manhattan and never had a problem like this. This is the only practice I have ever received a bill from excluding the Medicare deductible. I believe the practice knows this service code is not covered by Medicare and uses it as a way of fleecing their patients. Why else would they not make this known ahead of time and why won't they offer an explanation instead of just blowing you off. Avoid this practice!!!!!!

I had migraine shots today ,5/1/2026 from Dr. Strzepka, first time with this guy, never again, rude…read moreas hell, and was not considerate of the fact I told him 3 times he kept dripping in my eyes, and then proceeded to tell me he didnt see anything it was dry, kept soaking me with Alcohol which their good at doing, i couldnt even breath , starting tasting the alcohol, as the 2 assistants in the room thought it was funny, i could hear them laughing and standing there doing nothing, then ask if i wanted an alcohol pad to wipe it, i said no thanks, i'll go in the bathroom and wipe it myself, I came out and my husband thought I'D washed my hair it was so wet, not to mention my eye hurt all evening and had to keep washing it out, needless to say I had such a headache all night, I was so upset, never again , this is the worst place for pain management , ive been going hear for quite awhile and have had nothing but stress dealing with them, my shots are through workmens comp, i really dont think they like dealing with workmens comp , it took them 8 months to get shots approved , i got nothing but the run around about them , he claims his staff is knowledgeable , their not , their very immature and judge their patients, its very unfriendly and un comfortable, i will be looking for a real DR.
