Hi yes this place is not a new tire spit and polished shop. Yes the employees are very rough around the edges. But this is the only shop I go to with my classic BMW M3 or my brand new 2020 Jeep. I have been going here for 10 years. I always get what I need done at a fair price. If you know anything about tires you will understand. The red dot on the side of a new tire is supposed to be aligned with the valve stem. It always is done right! If you want a tv, an air conditioned waiting room, a clean bathroom, tile floors and a nice chatty cashier. Dont go here! If you want what you need done at a fair price and done right away. Worst tire shop I've been to....employees are ghetto...went there to get my tire patched and requested for my service to be done the right way by asking him to check for other holes seperate from they one we both eyeballed and I was told not to tell them how to do their job when it's my money being spent...this guy then denied me service then try to fight.There was no one superior there who was interested in mediating the situation so I had to leave with a punctured tire...Secondly I bought some used tires from there for about 60 a piece and they were dry rotted.Had to change them in less than a month after purchase...only on solid employee there who has always given good service.(Tall,slim,white guy) Otherwise form that this place is a shit show and I will never go back there and I will advise everyone not to go there....Alex Tire shop is a thousand times better. read more

I was charged $146 to mount and balance 4 tires! Tire size 245/75r16 on oem Tacoma wheels. I even dropped off the wheels and tires, picked them up when done and installed onto vehicle myself. Here's your warning. Don't get raped like I did. read more

I went to meyerholtz 2 weeks ago for a tire patch and it cost me less than $15. I had a slow leak in one of my tires today so I went to the same shop and was charged $32 for the same service. The cashier told me it was due to covid supply costs have gone up. What a rip-off! I'll never go back. read more

I was in need of a replacement tire with a decent amount of tread that would last me until I could afford to put a quality replacement (new) set of tires of my truck. They had what I needed in stock and replaced the tire immediately while I waited. Could not have asked for faster service. The tire I received had an *acceptable* amount of tread left. I thought it was a little pricey for being a used tire that would only last a short time, but I definitely appreciate the fast, friendly service. I'll likely use them again. read more

My husband and I just tried to take our van to Meyerholtz and we were refused service! We had a warning light about a tire problem that has been going on all week. I told the BOY who waited on us that this has happened in the past and it was always a nail in one of the tires. He put air in the tires and then told us it was all we needed. He completely ignored our resquest to take the van in and inspect it for nails given it's past problems. He refused to do so. We told the KID we would take it elsewhere and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Never again will any vehicle of ours be taken to that company. They are obviously unprofessional and just don't want the work. Don't take your car there, they don't value your opinion. read more

This place is horrible they sold me what was suppose to be a NEW tire was actually an old used one which my boyfriend had paid $100 + for what was suppose to be a new tire .. 2 KIDS with long dark hair worked to put my tire on and the tire went instantly flat they guaranteed me that was only because their jack "dropped my car to hard" and blew it back up .. The front 2 tires on my wife's Cadillac SRX were long passed due on being replaced. Since she only drives 5 miles to work every day and the tires are very expensive we put it off but this morning one finally went totally flat. I was in a rush so I called ahead to see if they could pick out 2 good ones. To my amazement Mr. Meyerholz had picked out 2 Michelins that looked just like brand new tires. No dry rot and only 2 years old. No tread ware at all! I bought both for $100. I was expecting this to be a temporary fix but instead they saved me about $400. I have gone there many times. These are used tires so sometimes they have great stuff and sometimes they don't. Some of the tires they sell are practically free and they change and balance them for less than anyone else. That doesn't make it a good tire. Common sense dictates you inspect any used tire. As for friendliness, I'd say the old man is extremely friendly and honest. As for the crew, they're just always busy. I'm always out of there in 15 minutes. If you want salesmen, go to Pep Boys. They won't repair a good tire like Meyerholz will. They instead will sell you a new one and meanwhile find another $1,500 worth of other work (Usually Ball Joints) they'll tell you must be done. They are however very friendly while they're doing this to you! Personally I prefer people, like those at Meyerholz, who just do the work and get it done. I was also told by my mechanic Meyerholz now has the most state of the art alignment machine and it's only $50 so I'll also be bringing in my Van for that. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE...sold me 4 used tires BUT problem was these tires were over 10 yrs old! I was ignorant to DOT dates on tires and was told by a REPUTABLE tire dealer that 10 yo tires are dangerous and should have never been sold. I drove 1,500 mi on these tires on a trip to TX! I informed Meyer Holtz and owner stated he has too many tires and too busy to look at DOTs on each tire. He admits the tires were too old to be on the road and would only give us 1/2 of our money back. VERY sketchy/questionable workers in this establishment. I will NEVER go back! Had them put a tire on my van and when i went to remove the tire a month later, three of the lug nuts were over torqued and rounded off, so i could not get them off. two auto shops tried and were unsuccessful as well. Finally, a third shop had to use a tool that was meant for freightliner trucks to remove them. They estimated that the torque was over 500 pounds and it is only required to be about 100. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. If I could give them a negative, i would. When i called them to explain what happened, they acted as if it was not their fault.
