Pick up day and time was March 5th at 5 p.m. He needed it for a wedding out of town on March 7th. Keep in mind that this was only his second time going to this place and ever using a dry cleaning service. Fast forward to the wedding day, there were stains on the sleeve of the dress shirt. Unsure if the stain was there prior. I've attached pictures for reference. My husband had to figure something out minutes before heading out to the wedding. We came home Sunday night, March 8th. My husband went to tell them about the situation on Wednesday, March 11th. He was told that because of how long it's been, they refused to provide any kind of refund. They also questioned why he didn't notify them. It was our fault that we didn't verify when we picked it up, but we trusted that it was properly cleaned. Also, why couldn't they notify us that they couldn't clean the stain? Refund or not, my husband didn't even receive an apology. I believe that was unprofessional as they are providing a service. This place is obviously not maintained or the owner is too dam cheap to do any of the repairs. The place is full of homeless people all trying to use the one washing machine. There are 16 dryers, although none are tagged out of order, the odds are, its a gamble. You may get it to work or you lose the money you paid. Save yourself the trouble and save time by going somewhere else. Its not worth the time waiting for a single washing machine and with the homeless using it, your clothes may come out dirtier and bug infested. Whoever owns this place needs to get thing fixed and working or get someone that will or sell the place to someone that wants to make money.

I like that they have some machines that take card for payment. I took cash just in case but was so happy to not need it. They have a variety of sizes of washing machines and dryers. I have not been to the laundromat in over twenty years, happy that it was a pleasant experience. They had rolling carts to assist in transporting your laundry as well as counter space to fold it all. On top of that, my cat must have been upset she wasn't invited, because a couple days after we returned home, she had a seemingly intentional accident in very close proximity to the dress. Although the dress was in a bag at the time, both the dress and the veil ended up with a slight odor to them. After that, I decided it was time to look into cleaning options. I had already been to Five Star in the past, so I used the Yelp project feature to reach out to them as well as a few other cleaners in the Sacramento area. They were very responsive and their pricing to clean and preserve the dress was very reasonable, so I decided to go with them. The turnaround time for cleaning was about a week, which is exactly what they estimated. They showed me the dress before it was boxed so I could confirm it was properly cleaned. There were no more mud stains, and the odor was completely gone! After I inspected the dress, they asked me to come back in a day or two after they had time to box it. It was wedding and prom season, so they were a little busy, and I told them I was in no rush to get the dress back. I went back a few days later and picked up a large box. There was an outer, regular, storage box and inside was a large preservation box that had a display window. It looked great! Oh, and to top it all off, I had originally only inquired about cleaning and boxing for the dress, but when I asked how much it would be to add the veil, they included it for free! Thank you!!
