I called 1800flowers on Saturday 12/18 to ask where the delivery was and why it was delayed. The CSR put me on hold and called the florist to investigate. When she came back - I was told that it was due to 'bad weather' AND that they (the florist) are 2 hours away from the recipient's location. Uh, ok - granted the area (Elk Grove) was indeed socked in by fog for a couple of days especially in the mornings. At this point, I have no idea who the local florist or where they are located. The CSR apologizes for the delay and assures me that the delivery would be made the next day (Sunday). Come the next day, the delivery person finally came with the order. Wow, talk about disappointing and NOT MEETING EXPECTATIONS. The final product was simply sad AND droopy. In retrospect, I should have just refused delivery. It looked like a trainee had worked on the 'holiday tree'. It was pathetic and almost laughable. Attached pictures show what it's supposed to look like and the actual delivery ... not good. And the final kicker is that when I asked delivery guy the name of florist shop and where they're located - he says "Paradise Florals located in Elk Grove". This is the same city as the recipient's location - NOT 2 hours away. Just a really disappointing experience with 1800flowers AND Paradise Florals.

Edlynn's (the owner's) services were requested for a milestone Golden Anniversary for my parents. Edlynn took the time to meet (in person and telephonically) with my parents to find out, specifically, what my parents wanted for their big day. The main thing my mom wanted was orchids as a) it is her favorite flower, and b) it had to be a golden color (of course). My mom had been calling around and people said they may not be possible because it was not in season, and Edlynn assured my mom that she will make it happen for my mom's special day - and let me tell you, Edlynn kept to her promise. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming, especially when you do not know where to start, but she made everything feel manageable. From our initial consultation to the final setup, she truly went above and beyond. We came in with ideas, but Sandy really helped bring our vision to life. Our wedding colors were pastel yellow and dusty blue, which she mentioned was not a combination she had worked with before, but you would never have guessed. She had such a great eye for what works well together and was very intentional with her design choices. It meant a lot that she would send us inspiration or ideas whenever she came across yellow and blue pairings that reminded her of us, especially with florals. She kept us organized and was always thinking ahead, even pointing out details we had not considered. A lot of what she helped with went beyond what you would expect from a decorator or florist. It really felt like she was looking out for us every step of the way. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine care made a huge difference and kept me at ease throughout the process. On the wedding day, everything came together even better than we imagined. Sandy and her team created the most beautiful and whimsical floral pieces, including the centerpieces, ceremony arch, bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, and boutonnieres for the groom and family. The florals complemented the greenery at our ceremony venue perfectly, and every arrangement felt thoughtfully put together. They also repurposed the ceremony florals and moved them to our reception, which was amazing. Everything held up so well and completely transformed the space. Our reception was at a Chinese restaurant, and walking in felt surreal. The room was turned into such a dreamy and romantic setting with draping, uplighting, and beautifully decorated tables and chairs. The guest table with our engagement photos was such a nice touch, and the sweetheart table and stage honestly looked like something out of a K-drama with the florals, arch, and lighting.
