Greeted by the homeless who wanted a few bucks and not a fresh meal but do not let this diamond in the rough scare you off, however if you're looking for a fancy place with AC, this is definitely not the spot. Question is...Can you withstand the heat? There are 2 pool tables. Claw machine. 2 TV's. Speakers and 12 tables that can sit probably three to four people comfortably. This place has potential to pop off for a good time...nice cold beers and carbonated drinks. 4 employees and definitely was LBGT friendly. There was a few language barriers to what exactly was being ordered or on the menu but this girl likes to try new foods and support the local economy with the hopes of not catching any COVID. My food was not bad. I wanted to order something new but ended up ordering tacos because I needed food in my system that I know I would eat, it was basic and needed some flavoring. I'm giving a one start not because of the food . The waitress was sweet so was the older lady making the food. Soon as i walk in (unfortunately i was alone) bunch of guys drinking by the counter . If it were not for me going up to ask for drinks then we would not have gotten any drinks. How disgusting the people in this "restaurant" are. I was literally standing in front of them and they literally ignored me. Mind you they had no customers. After 5 minutes of standing there these group of guys came in, the ladies literally went up to them right away and greeted them. There is no AC, it's in a danky looking spot, there's some serious and often times loud banda music playing... but at the end of the day... the food in ON POINT! You have to take this place for what it is.... it's not supposed to be, and will never be, a "classy 5 star" place... it's a small humble mom and pop shop. Embrace it. Hidden in a corner is this lil gem of Honduran food. The food is made when you order it, not under some heat lamps. They have a good selection of plates as well as native beers. The people are super nice and courteous. The prices are good as well. The plate I liked very much was the pollo frito con rajadas. The only thing advice is to order ahead of you're real hungry, because it takes a while to get your food, but well worth it the wait. I give it thumps up. The reason for the 4 stars and not the 5 is because it took a while for us to gotvthm check and pay to leave. But a 5 for anything that matters. read more
