No, I won't go back to this facility. I had an appointment for Botox that was on special and while there Dr A. Suggested a Vampire facial, (instead of getting a facelift I was considering and he said I didn't need a facelift). It wasn't a facial but a combination of juvaderm & your own blood inserted into your cheeks and under (my eyes to supposedly get rid of my dark circles), which I never had an issue with but I thought, he's the expert, he must know what he's doing. I was so excited to have this done from his recommendation. Big mistake. He doesn't know what he's doing. When I came back for my 2 week follow up appointment, I wasn't impressed. He mumbled how it worked really well for his daughter prior to her wedding. I'm not your daughter. I'm 61 years old dude. And yes, I do need a facelift. He wanted me to come back again in a couple of months. I didn't show because I still wasn't happy with the so called, results and thought he probably won't do anything to make me happy. I finally returned and as I thought, he wouldn't do anything to make me a happier patient and he thought he gave me some great special price at $1600. He used 2 vials of Juvaderm which equals $1600 and gave me the blood he withdrew from my arm that he put in a centrifuge to spin and inserted with some of the Juvaderm in it. Big deal. $800 a vial is full Price. What a waste of my money. Money that I don't have to waste. I'm not rich. Look at the wonderful Bags he gave me that I never had before in the picture I posted. So he was going to get rid of my dark circles which I don't have any issues with added on bags under my eyes. What an A*s !! read more

Do not under any circumstance go to this facility. My mother went septic after smart lipo. In the middle of her procedure, a nurse went to Home Depot to buy a replacement part while my mother laid there under only local anesthesia. They refused to let me see or speak to her, which she would never allow to happen. She was in excruciating pain going home and went into cardiac arrest within 48 hours. No oxygen for 20 minutes. Remained in a vegetative state for 9 years. He never admitted responsibility and he only stopped practicing when he was incarcerated for Medicare fraud. The way him and his wife have the "practice" set up was very legally shady. Many women came forward after my mother's very public illness and said they also fell into comas. My mother was just the only one that didn't wake up. And if he reads this, he knows exactly who I am. Not surprised to read the Groupon related complaints because no one within the Dearborn area would ever give him business. Groupon seems like a good place to source outsider patients. read more

Dr.Ali not professional and not ethical I had a terrible experience with Dr. Ali today. Not only did he decline my Groupon purchase , but he was extremely dismissive and rude when I asked for an explanation. I felt like he didn't care about me as new patient or well-being at all. - I was shocked by the lack of professionalism displayed by Dr. Ali during my appointment. When I asked to redeem my vouchers for the Botox I had purchased, he immediately shut me down and start to yell at me at the service desk and he told me it wasn't an option to redeem both of my vouchers When I asked for more information, he acted like I was wasting his time and refused to answer any of my questions. I don't understand that hows he supposed to provide treatment to people with this type of anger issues Dr. Ali handled the situation was completely unacceptable. If I hadn't known better! The doctor could of gotten away with it! I worked for a plastic surgeon I know what 40cc looks like, I was given only 20, I should have read and did more research on the Dr. And establishment! The girl at front desk was nice .. Until she took me to back, I told her I was nervous I'd rather the Dr. administer the botox. And WOW she turned very rude! I have a high pain threshold and the forehead injections hurt, he also told me of other areas he would do but didn't! I've been getting Botox and Juvederm for 2 years now. This was my 3rd or 4th time at this establishment. I've never had a bad experience with injections. I don't bruise and I don't swell. The lady that did my injections used lidocaine to numb me (which I've never needed in the past) and after those injections I was in tears from pain. The Botox and Juvederm did not go much better. It is now three days later and my Botox injection sites under my eyes are still swollen and in pain. It even hurts to smile. I look like I was beaten up. I called and spoke to the lady that did my injections and explained what I wrote above. I didn't lose my temper or raise my voice and she said, "If you are talking like that, I can see we won't get anywhere." And she hung up on me. She warned me that I might bruise but she did not tell me that I would swell. It is not normal to swell after Botox if it is done correctly. If you go here for your injectables, make sure you see either one of the doctors, they do great work. But, it was very evident that this lady has no idea how to use a needle. Furthermore, every time I go in I am not seen for at least 30 minutes after my appointment time, which was ok when I saw the doctors because I love them, but never again for this woman. When it was time to leave both the lady doing my injections and the receptionist solicited a review from me, wanting me to do it before I left (under their supervision). I am so disappointed! From the initial phone call to schedule my appointment to the actual Botox injection, my experience with MI Body Contours was a huge let down. I'll skip the drama about the phone call to schedule and the irritation at the fact that I had a Groupon. I will, however review the appointment itself. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time, knowing I would have consents to sign, etc. What I didn't know was that I would have to wait an HOUR after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Not once during that time, while I sat in the waiting room, did someone check in. Just a heads up, that they knew I was still waiting, would have been nice. Once I was finally shown to the treatment room, I got a very quick "sorry for the wait" from the receptionist. The Dr. never apologized nor acknowledged that I had wasted an hour of my time. In fact, I was made to feel that I was interrupting his day!!! The doctor confirmed that I had a Groupon for 40 units of Botox. Then brusquely informed me that he couldn't treat all the areas I wanted with 40 units. (I worked as an aesthetician and have personally injected thousands of units of Botox. I KNOW 40 units covers MY forehead, crows feet and glabella). Whatever. He could have offered to sell me additional units, he did not. He just wanted to go home (or, at least that's how he made me feel). Not once did he have me make a face. No raising of the eyebrows, no smiling, no furrowing my brow. All the things you SHOULD do to assess how each person's unique facial muscles move and where they are located (remember, I did this for a living). He quickly injected my forehead and crows. I must say, at least the injections weren't painful When he was done, he said "You've had this done before, you know what to do". No oral or written aftercare instructions. Wow! Then I was told "you know how long it takes to work on you". Huh. He didn't know that I was an aesthetician. He has no idea if I've had Botox once or 100 times. In my opinion, I was treated poorly because I had a Groupon. Yes, some people bounce from Groupon to Groupon to get a good deal. However, the idea of Groupon is to build your business. I am new to Michigan and need to find a good aesthetics office. Groupon is a way to do just that. Well, this office isn't it! I won't be back for Botox or any other procedure! What terrible results! My face was bruised and hideous after injections of botox and filler. I had to pay other injectors to fix the brutality that happened to me at this salon. The injector is not knowledgeable at all. She skewered my lip - two weeks later and I am still nursing the hematoma! She didn't even know what the glabella was and superficially injected botox - causing pain and poor results. Run for your lives away from this place. I want my money back! My reviews keep getting deleted. So the 5 star reviews you see on their Facebook site are only a part of what has been written. I've been going to MI Body Contour for almost a year now for laser hair removal. I was gifted a Groupon that stated "one year of unlimited laser hair removal for up to six areas". I thought it was a fantastic deal, but I had a few issues. The first sessions went fine, and the people were pleasant. However, towards the end, I noticed that I was not yielding the results that they had promised. I went in religiously for almost an entire year, and made sure to follow their guidelines to ensure the best results, but I am still disappointed. I still have to shave the areas pretty constantly because it's still very visible and dark. And although it's patchy now, it's nowhere near a point where I can stop shaving altogether. When I brought up the issue towards the end, one of the ladies was looking over the paperwork for each session and apologized to me because she said that the girl who was treating me did not up the level on the machine enough to see what the progress they promised. The last session was suppose to be today because the one year will be up in just a few days, but when I went in they said that I have used up all my sessions and refused to give me the service unless I paid. NOWHERE in the Groupon does it state a specific amount of sessions per year, but that it was unlimited for an entire year. So there went $100 down the drain. Overall, 8 sessions in, and after much money spent, I didn't expect to still have to worry about shaving anymore. This was only my second time getting Botox and I had a much better experience than the first time (which was at a different place). The staff was friendly and I liked how they went about assessing my face. I wound up having to buy 16 extra units but I already expected that because my last results with 20 units didn't last very long. I am happy that the staff recommended I receive more units because after a month, my results are still flawless! After you are a client, they send you emails with discounts in them. I have seen Dr E several times and always been happy with results. Unfortunately, I bought a Groupon and then found out Dr. E was on a 'medical" so I saw the MA who was, according to the reception staff, awesome, better than doctor. She informed me the Groupon item ($350) would not work for the area I requested, so sold me a different filler ($550) and then added on Botox because it "wouldn't give me good results without the Botox." So $680 later, I see no improvement in the areas treated. ALSO, the filler she up sold and the Groupon item BOTH HAD THE SAME APPROVED INDICATIONS. In other words, Yes the groupon item was approved for the area I wanted done I found out when I got home. Also, her injections were more painful, left bruises. I feel fortunate that I am only out nearly $700 and that she didn't do any permanent damage. Will not go back. I would NOT RECOMMEND this office. I really like Dr Elhorr, but if he leaves his practice in the hands of an MA who does not do a very good job, I have doubts. read more

Me and my sisters experience has been horrible. We got coupons from Groupon for a laser appointment session. It was a epic fail. They lied to us, kept the settings on low so we would buy another package. Customer service is horrible, the owner has not work ethics. All she cares about is getting money. My mom had gotten juvederm in her nose from him last year with a groupon and i actually went with her but wasnt able to get it done bc i was pregnant so i got the groupon and went in to get it done recently and he tried to tell me it costs $700 and that theres no way he did it for my mom with the groupon! I kept telling him i was there with her when HE put it in and hes like nope, you dont know what youre talking about...--;;; and he seemed mad i had gotten a groupon bc he kept saying he loses 40%...then why does he have a contract with them if he doesnt want people to use it?!
