The menu is mainly Spanish and they had a nice tapas platter amongst other items like fish, meat and desserts. We decided to order the racion grande which came with a variety of hot and cold items including some prawns, beef slices, cheese, chicken, vegetables and jamon serrano. The flavours were not authentic Spanish but tasted really good. I really liked the chicken, olives, cheese, aubergine and mushrooms. At €18 for this plate two of us could not finish it which is good value for the contents. Service here is good and very friendly. Our waiter spoke good English and was very accommodating. All in all a great experience and a place I would happily come to again. It's a good choice for food in town.

Why then not 5 points? well the wines are a bit too pricey for the quality, in my opinion. What sticks out is the great staff in the kitchen - always open to think outside of the box (the menu). we often go back - either to eat in or to take out. And the place is always packed.

It's not a huge place and has seating for about 25-30 ppl. It's dimly lit and cosy, perhaps a little too cosy for my liking as when the place filled up it was a bit cramped. It also got too warm and we had to end up leaving early :-( The food here is excellent. The Cevice starter was excellent as was the spicy seafood stew I had for main. The food was packed with flavours and had a good kick to it. Rice and boiled or fried potato is served with the courses and, the Cevice also had steamed sweet potato slices that was delicious. The Pisco sour is also excellent here and, made from good Peruvian pisco. The menu is not huge but there are enough choices for all including vegetarians. The cocktail list is also pretty decent with some traditional Peruvian cocktails and beer. English is well spoken here and the staff are quite friendly but the service was a little slow. All in all a pleasant evening and if it was not that warm we would have ended up staying instead of leaving straight after dinner. I would happily come back here for the food. Peruvian food has gained global recognition in recent years and, it is well deserved. If you like food that is made from fresh ingredients and packs a punch, you will like it here.

I will definitely visit again.

Hanging plants, themed drinkware, and counter-height tables that are shaped like barrels. The bartenders on a Saturday night were fully engaged with the patrons and created an appealing vibe. We ordered a Deja Vu spritz (you either love spritzes or you hate them), a pina colada, a Paloma, and a rum punch. The latter three drinks were fantastically yummy cocktails. The food - well, not the strong suit. Our Nachos Überbacken recalled microwave nachos and they were not generous with the salsa, guac, or bean dips. Our tacos were hard shell, which I wasn't expecting; also, since they didn't strain the ground beef, the shells broke while I was eating. The tostadas were also served on a hard shell. I'd send people here to pre-or postgame, but for a memorable meal look somewhere else.

But perhaps that is just how the food should be of course. In any case food that you eat and then forget about. - the beef was not tender - we both found the acoustics of the place quite annoying, from time to time we had to lean into each other to hear the other person speak. - we were served our main course but didn't have any cutlery. So we sat there for a minute waiting for a knife and fork. This symbolised the service nicely: Chaotic. - there was no mobile phone data reception (e-plus) in the restaurant and no WIFI available. I will not go here again.

Great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere, all at reasonable prices…read more I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, but reservations are required, and even the bar seats are usually full. Fortunately, I managed to get a table on a rainy day. I spent €81 (before tips) on 4 oysters, a duck breast entrée with a baked cheese tomato add-on (a generous portion), and two glasses of wine. The server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared, with certain items sliced or left whole for specific reasons--just ask, and you'll appreciate how considerate they are. To be honest, the oysters were just okay, but they were definitely fresh! The baked cheese tomato add-on was a pleasant surprise, so much so that I'd happily have it as a stand-alone lunch. I insisted on regional wines, although it seemed the server had other recommendations in mind. The price is not much higher than the city average (I ate way more this time for €81), but the quality and experience make it absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this place for a celebratory treat or a date. It's located inside Dallmayr grocery shop, and I'd suggest browsing the coffee shop on the 2nd floor before dinner--it adds to the overall experience!

Portion was ample for one person and in the end I had to ask them to box the rest for take-away (which they happily did). For dessert I tried a flourless almond chocolate cake (yummy but a bit dry for my taste). All desserts are cakes or muffins. But each has a story to it - tiramisu is sugarless and there is one cake which is olive oil based. Drinks - Quite a good variety of drinks - beer, wine, coffee and fresh juice. I had fresh fennel-apple-lemon juice. Was very refreshing and I could smell and taste the ingredients. Although a bit sweet for my taste but overall a very nice drink. Ambience - nice, calm and casual for a quiet dinner. Lighting is dim and relaxing to the eyes Service - cheerful, friendly, no-rush attitude. Bonus for me was that they have English speaking staff. They were very willing to help in order for me to make a choice with the dishes, drinks and dessert. And also to box my remaining food as take-away. Pro - good service, calm relaxed ambience, tasteful food Con - a slight bit expensive for what the restaurant offers. Firstly the staff were very polite even when we didn't have a reservation on a Friday night. The food I had was amazing. I figured this could go either of too ways, too much lime and it would kill the dish, not enough and it could be bland...
