Plus, the ice cream was good, too. We had strawberry ice cream, and you could feel and taste small bits of actual strawberry. So I'm glad we ended up eating here. I love rice dishes and I was told this was the place to have Arroz di Banda a traditional rice dish from Alicante which is rice cooked with seafood in a similar pan to a paella. I had the best paella of my entire trip here. This was the only time of the 5,6 paellas I had in Spain that I actually got the crispy rice at the bottom. Loved my simple pan fried fish fillet as well - it wasn't too salty and had a crisp brown color against the white flesh. For dessert, I got the flan and loved it. The menu del dia also came with drink and break. This is definitely a local's place as you see all the men in suites on their lunch break walk in around 2pm. No english menu here.
