Me and my family have been coming here for 10 years. Tacos are BOMB! So GOOD! Everything from the salsa ,to the grilled onions is just perfect. I loved the staff because they gave really good customer service. I was very disappointed going today. There's 2 new girls who are taking orders now and let's just say I am very dissatisfied. Not only did they take long to take my order because they were too busy talking to the girls infront of me .. they did not give me my grilled onions,cilantro and lemons.(I love this place because of their grilled onions)and yes I did ask for them on the side. I also ordered a Mexican hamburger they put SOUR CREAM instead mayonnaise,no bacon,no jalapeños and very stale fries. It was about to be 10 so unfortunately I couldn't go back. The food is just delicious! The price is so affordable, and the staff is so helpful. The tacos are divine, and the salsa verde is avocado based (MY FAVE). They even serve delicious aguas frescas, and offer a quick option of visiting their drive through. In the snow storm of 2022 they were the only spot to offer a fresh, hot meal. I love supporting local businesses but this place was just not it! The yelp reviews made me visit but quickly realized that was not all true. There was one lady working the whole place from taking orders to serving to manning the front so everything took a bit longer. The service was good but the food was not! I ordered some tacos which was subpar. The salsa they serve was different but not tasty very watery. The fajita beef taco was so bitter I took one bite and gave up. They have really cheap prices but definitely not worth it. Ample parking is available and also has drive-thru. We chose this restaurant because it had a five-star rating and was nearby. As we walked inside, the young girl at the cashier asked if we were eating in or taking out. We told her that we were eating in, and she told us we could sit anywhere we wanted. Being our first time at this restaurant, my husband got up to ask her if we should order at the cashier. The young girl saw him standing and told us that she would take our order in a moment. We waited a few minutes. Then, she brought us tortilla chips and salsa and asked us what we want it to drink. By the way, the salsa was bland and consistency of water with bits of tomato skin floating on top. The chips were stale and in pieces. She took our drinks order and directed herself to the table adjacent to ours to ask the guests what they want it to drink. Afterward, she proceeded to walk away and asked a lady waiting at the cashier if she was ready to order. After this experience, we decided to leave and told the young girl we were going. I offered to pay for the chips and salsa since we did eat some of them, even though they were awful. She told me she would ask the older lady in the back how much it would cost. As she proceeded to charge me, I was astonished by the $4.87 charge. I repeated the price to confirm. She said, "yes! that is the price." I asked her for a menu to check the price, and she pointed at a sheet near the cashier with the price. The price before tax was $4.50. I went ahead and paid. After paying, I asked for the chips. The older lady grabbed a paper bag and handed it to me. I looked at her in disbelief and asked if it was for the chips on the table. She said, "yes!." I was about to walk out but decided to take the chips. As I was bagging them, a fly was flying over the table. In the end, I ended up throwing the chips in the trash. This experience definitively made me not want to return to this restaurant. Very disappointing! Too bad I didn't think about taking a picture of the tortilla chips and salsa. read more
