This was one of the most mentioned places for breakfast tacos and street tacos in the Forney eats group. We tried the chicken street tacos and beef. With a side of beans and rice. First the rice was really good! The beans were quite salty. We decided not to eat them. The beef street tacos were good. I'm glad we added cheese to them. The chicken was very dry and I wish I added cheese to mine. The lady at the counter was friendly. Service was fast.

These are not the best tacos I have had nor in the DFW area. However, these are the best tacos in the Forney area, hands down! Service & Atmosphere: This is a small little store on a small street. You may miss it while driving so pay attention. The service is great. The staff is kind and helpful. It may get quite busy here, so if you are in a rush call ahead and order. Food: Tacos: First off, they are not stingy on the meat and toppings. They topped off our tacos with a good amount of meat, cilantro, onions, grilled onions, and limes. Not a lot of places do this! But a lot of the meats we got were quite dry, which was disappointing. - Al Pastor (6/10): The al pastor was very dry to me. But it still had a decent flavor. Topping it off with some hot sauce made it a lot better. - Chicharrón (9/10): This was probably one of my favorite chicharrón tacos. This was tossed in green salsa, so it had a great flavor to it. Although, it was a bit salty. - Beef Fajitas (6/10): Unfortunately, this was dry as well. My wife enjoyed it more once she added more hot sauce to it. - Pollo (7/10): Most taco places do not flavor their chicken properly. But this pollo taco was seasoned well, so the fact it was a bit dry was not that concerning. - Elotes (9/10): The elotes were great and came in a big cup. I think it needed a bit more spice and a bit more mayo to add some more creaminess and spice to it. But other than that, it was a solid elote. I highly recommend this place if you are around this area. The tacos were great for the price. These tacos won't break your bank. I will be coming back more often and trying other things off their menu.

Its Taco Tuesday and I've never ordered tacos from here until today. It was truly worth the wait but need to point out I've enjoyed their fabulous breakfast burritos on numerous occasions. Today I went with pork carne' asada tacos packed with braised onions, peppers, and lime sauce. Amazing !!

I found this place by accident while looking for a place that served breakfast burritos. I found another spot but decided to try their lunch menu. Since this was my first time I ordered everything on the menu. LOL I ordered nachos, fajita tacos with beans/ rice and fajita quesadilla. The tacos were ok but not my favorite. The nachos were ok but there wasn't enough cheese on the nachos but I still ate them with the salsa. The quesadilla was very good and it comes with pico de gallo, jalapeños and sour cream. The beans and rice are good but I don't like peas and carrots in my rice. I wish there was a way to order with veggies in my rice. The tortilla chips are not homemade and I probably would have passed on ordering them. If you are pressed for time, call in your order. Their customer service is great and their prices are very good. The food is better than average but not the best that I have ever had.

By far the best place around Forney/Talty to get breakfast tacos and street tacos. Just a couple minutes down the road from Forney but not far at all. Good authentic food! One thing that they will do is make you a fresh taco how you want it. So if there is none available or you want a taco with certain things on it, they will cook it right up for you! They are always eager to help. Also, place is pretty cheap!

I'm not sure if it was just a bad day to come here or what, but the fact that it was so busy did not match the experience that we had. Although the drinks we got were ok, the tajin rim on my cucumber margarita was barely existent. It was maybe a few flecks of tajin. Then when our food came out, the rice looked completely bland. Jasmine rice with zero flavor is certainly an interesting choice for a Mexican food restaurant. We ordered queso and it just tasted like melted down velveeta with some tomatoes in it. By the time the queso came out, we were out of chips. Instead of bringing us more, we had to ask our server several times for some. Felt out of the ordinary for a restaurant as typically they'll just bring you more chips? The tomatillo sauce was very good on the enchilada, but that was about the most flavor of the entire night. I don't know that I would recommend this place to anyone... just drive 1 minute up the road to Manny's! To top it off, the whole vibe of the place feels weird. Extremely upscale on the outside, but as soon as you walk in it's just odd. Additionally, two enchilada plates and queso with two margaritas came out to $80. This was extremely expensive for the quality of food that we received.
