The food here was good (delivery). Oddly, the papusas seem to have disappeared from their menu. The other food is very regionally influenced (Gorditas are Durango style, for example). I had really high hopes for the lunch with my family here. I ended up getting tacos de fajita and trompo, which were OK. However, my mother-in-law ordered some gorditas and tacos, taco de chicharrón, and others with fajitas as well, but her chicharrón tasted Off and her fajita meat was really dry and a little hard. I understand that some restaurants have their moment, right where the food is,..Maybe not where they wanted to be, but what really bothered me was that even after I brought it to their attention as far as the chicharrón tasting kind of off my mother-in-law didn't eat it. They still charged me for it. She said she was gonna talk to her manager, which I assume that you know they were gonna come talk to me about it or just ask me about my experience. No one ever came out to talk to me what they charge me. They didn't even want to look at me, mind you like I said, the food was not awful. Percy. Okay this is an honesty moment my first going I was excited for this review. Their good was delicious and some of the best tacos I ever had. The service is good as well they are quick and food is always made fresh. The style and decor is like going to visit abuela just how the food taste as well. Even when my food was not to my liking owner came and took my dish and had the cooks remake my whole order even though I had already eaten some of it. It truly pains me to say it has an insect problem and I hope they hire an exterminator because I was so sad to see it my second time visiting that I don't feel comfortable with going back. read more

I don't know what is going on with this place but we loved eating from here, everything was awesome and had great seasoning. But today WTH I even had to call to find out if they sold the place or had a new cook. My husband went to pick up our order and said it wasn't the usual people in the back cooking. The food lacked flavor and don't get me started on the Tripas I ordered 2 tacos de tripa veien dorados and instead they were extra soggy n nasty the fajita had no flavor the barbacoa was flavorless and old. I sware the only thing good in our meals were the kids quesadillas. The rice and beans were also different. The only tacos my husband liked from the 6 he ordered was his 2 chorizo tacos. His tripas were horrible as well and his carnitas had no flavor. I was told they had a new cook and I hope to god they bring back the old cook. Oh yea my original order was for flautas but they said they were out, I also asked for papusas and I guess they don't make them anymore. If the old cook or cooks read this please let me know where you are working cos we won't be spending our money here anymore unless it goes back to how it was! This was the only good Mexican restaurant in Seagoville in my opinion. The man that answered the phone the 3rd time I called cos I kept getting hung up on either they were getting slammed with orders (which would be normal) or slammed with complaints, told me I could take the food back and have them remake it. On our way to Cedar Creek Lake from Dallas, this was a perfect place to stop for lunch. Super friendly folks! A boy saw us coming and opened the door for us and greeted us with a smile, and they checked on us during the meal and afterwards, too, to make sure everything was okay. Food was delicious, made to order. (So if you are in a hurry, call ahead.) We had taco platter and pupusas with Mex coke and soda. The inside is not fancy but new and super clean. They told us they have a new name (can't remember what it is), will have a new menu soon, and now have extended weekend hours. I noticed lots of options for my vegetarian daughter - so cool - but this may change when menu changes. One more thing: easy on and off from the highway. Even if you are heading East on Seogoville road, you can drive through the back of the restaurant. Then make a right on the road that will take you under the highway and back on the Eastbound side. A convenient stop whether you are East or West bound. If you like homemade Mexican food, give this place a try! read more

We stumbled across this little hole in the wall place by accident. We were waiting on a tire repair next door at Vero's Tire Shop and they recommended this new little Mexican restaurant next door. The prices are cheap and the food is good. Tamales are $2 each, tacos are $2 each. Two of us ate and we got two tacos and two drinks for $5.95. Quite a deal, and the chicken tacos were excellent. I hate shredded chicken tacos because it's just hard to get bites, and they make little tiny bits of seasoned chicken meat in the tacos. Plus cilantro and onion.
