We wanted a very light dinner after a full day of travel and found this restaurant near our hotel. Great find! The place was hopping and loud, but we were ushered to a booth in just a couple minutes. Large menu with all the standard Mexican restaurant choices, at terrific prices. We ordered off the ala cart menu and my $4.99 chicken burrito was very tasty and just the right size, with plenty of shredded chicken. They even served the chips and salsa with this. Good food in Tipton. Waiter did his best but was by himself. Only issue was there where chips all over the place. I wonder if someone had just thrown a basket of them on the floor. This place is awesome! We went for lunch, service was super quick. We got lunch steak fajitas and chicken burrito. We also got queso, I would say the queso was a bit bland. The burrito was a bit bland too. The fajitas were good and well portioned for lunch. It was a bit pricy, but food was good and filling, plus in this economy everything is pricy. The food is wonderful always fresh and hot. The service is always great. Regulars don't have to place an order most of the time cause staff knows you. On a busy night and can get pretty loud with the high ceilings but it is always a pleasant outing. read more

Small joint. The inside is cozy and feels like a Mexican place. The wait staff is very friendly and they are kid friendly. The food is good authentic style Mexican with lunch specials. Delicious Mexican - American food. I would not describe their food as authentic Mexican food. It is what many Americans would think of as pretty authentic though. You will find the typical menu items prepared in the usual way. Service is fast and friendly. Decor is dingy and you can see boxes stacked around the bar and in the back. I wish I could give this less than one star. This place is just horrid. First of all the menu is like a copy of war and peace. WAAAy too many selections for any ONE of them to be done well. I would rather see them offer a handful of selections prepared with care and skill, than pages and pages of stuff that is just inedible.The salsa was like tomato sauce. How do you consider yourself a good Mexican place if you can't get SALSA right? The food arrived barely warm on cold plates and EVERYTHING was oversalted and UNDERseasoned. I ordered a tamal and it was a frozen reheated tamal that was virtually flavorless...I can and have gotten better from ALDI's. My chili relleno was served so cold the cheese hadn't even melted. You are literally better off eating at TACO BELL. I hope the owners see these reviews and re-tool the way they do things because a GOOD Mexican restaurant in Tipton would be a goldmine. read more
