I do not trust and will not use Larry Kircher's agency any longer…read more I moved my business to State Farm from Allstate, because after I'd been hit by a State Farm policy holder, State Farm took better care of me than my own insurance company. Parts warranties, service, and the entire experience was better dealing with State Farm. Now that we are with State Farm, my daughter was hit by a driver carrying insurance apparently from a foreign country. She called Larry Kirchner, and was summarily kicked to the curb. All that Larry's office had to do was to give her the claims number, but instead they told it "it is easier" to deal with the other party's insurance. My daughter was left to attempt to navigate through the trying process of having her car repaired with a foreign insurer for whom English is a second language. Do they have the same quality of repair shops? Do they warranty the parts and the work the way State Farm does? I don't know, and Mr. Kirchner didn't either. It wasn't his concern. When I called Mr. Kirchner to take issue with the shoddy treatment my daughter received, he doubled down on his comments. "You'll have to be out of pocket for your deductible," he said, "and if the other insurer denies responsibility, you won't get your $500 back." How dumb! I asked Mr. Kirchner what made him think that if this foreign insurance company won't pay State Farm and their teams of experts and lawyers, what makes him think they'll pay me? He didn't have an answer. It would have been so easy to simply refer my daughter to the claims department. We trusted this agency enough to write them a check each month, and when we needed their advocacy, their assistance, and their expertise, they summarily dismissed my daughter without any regard for her difficulty, because it was easier for them. If I hadn't been there to help her and direct her to the appropriate people, she'd have had to struggle through the process of getting her car fixed because her agent couldn't be bothered to help. I had my auto policy cancelled for bogus reasons. I was contacted to set up renters insurance for a…read moremove and I was talked into getting car insurance as well. The price was right and I preferred to keep my renters and auto with the same company so I switched from Allstate to Statefarm in Feb of this year. My car has been showing it's age and I had needed to have it towed TWICE in one day because i didn't make it too far from home when my car first broke down. I tried jumping it at home and troubleshooting but found no obvious solution and had to have it towed to a mechanic, as it was not starting. Because of those two towings, stated by my agent, I was considered a risk and my policy was cancelled. They are absolutely not willing to look into the details. I have been cooperative and willing to provide any documentation needed to show that I am not an at risk driver but they are not there for you and they are not like a good neighbor.
