Nice botanical garden perfect for a fairly quick stop to try something different in Miami Beach. Parking is across the street at the convention center and is $2/hour if you get the ticket validated in the gift shop within the garden. Otherwise it's $20 at that garage. The garden is free and open to all, showcasing lots of orchids, both native and foreign plants and trees, and several water features with turtles and koi fish. I was very impressed by the vanilla orchid - so beautiful! There is no food available for purchase, but there were some drinks available in the small gift shop. My only complaint was the audio tour, though appreciated, is difficult to follow and I gave up on it. It would be better with a more clear map and better descriptions for where to look for the particular plant/tree being discussed in the audio. Lincoln road, with food, drink, and shopping options, is nearby in walking distance, perfect to round out an afternoon at the garden. read more

A real hidden gem in the heart of Miami Beach's most transited area (next to Lincoln Road). Honestly this space is magical, thats the best way to put it. They have such a large variety of flora and fauna, even species I didnt know existed. The place is kept spotless, which is amazing seeing that the admission is FREE! Parking is a little tough, especially because, like I said before, Lincoln Road is two blocks away. There is street parking adjacent to the park, but there are only around 12 spots. If you can park in the Lincoln Mall garage (usually $2 an hour) you can walk here in 10 minutes tops. You HAVE to visit at least once in your time in Miami Beach. You wont regret it. We love it here! There are a bunch of orchids and other places throughout the garden. I was in the area and found out there was a botanical garden and it's free. The garden is a hidden gem in a busy part of town. You can forget that the garden is nestled in a busy city being surrounded by its lusciousness. The garden is compact and took about an hour to walk it. It was ridiculously hot and stopped in the store for cold water and picked up some fish food to feed the koi fish. It was great experience with visible and knowledgeable staff. The location itself is on the smaller side but it's a cute place to take a local date before going to dinner somewhere in the area. I parked across the street in the garage not realizing discounted parking didn't apply for events hosted after park hours (not specified on website or third parties page). The event took place at night and music started around 8:30pm. The drinks were decent and the snacks were okay, they were both fairly priced. Most people brought blankets and laid down, or sat in the provided chairs to listen to the bands. Overall this event had a laidback casual vibe. read more

As the website implies, the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens are small but mighty! I visited from the Northeast, and as a huge houseplant enthusiast it was a thrill to see so many common houseplants in their natural environment. Common plants like monstera, ZZ plant, inch plant, and more can be found here. The gardens also features tons and tons of orchids, which was a special treat. There's lots of other native wildlife as well. You can see koi fish and turtles, but there are also several types of butterflies and lizards. I loved hearing the scuffle of leaves and then finding a lizard sneaking around. It was a nice little treat to visit these botanical gardens! read more

These lovely gardens have been here in Miami Beach for YEARS, and I was so glad to see how beautiful they've been keeping it. A lot of people don't know that this attraction is free. You can support it by donating or buying some of their cute gift boutique shop. They sell things like fabric shopping totes, candles, body lotions, post cards, and cute handmade items. It's not very big, we were here for probably an hour and a half, and we took our time. Next door is the holocaust memorial, and it connects to the gardens. They have chairs, and tables for you to bring your breakfast or lunch and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you eat. This botanical garden is truly one of the best gems of Miami Beach. read more

Many glitzy Miami visits in one calendar year left me with the impression that South Beach wasn't really my vibe. But this last visit revealed an oasis in Miami Beach's own Botanical Garden, whose lush grounds were the host to my dear friend's wedding. The tropical foliage made for a beautiful backdrop on this special occasion. As the golden hour sun set, my friend walked gracefully down the aisle in her stunning white dress while her yoga teacher officiated a tear-filled ceremony. Against a vivid orange sky the whole event carried resonance, and I found myself overwhelmed with a surge of emotion along the rest of the crowd. Dinner was held under a grant tent on the grounds. Despite the characteristic Miami humidity, the evening breeze perfumed the party with floral notes from the garden. From epic sunset views to vibrant jungle vibes the botanical garden proved a verdant site for this lovely gathering. They had few water features, Japanese garden, little trails, restrooms and little boutique that sold few drinks and things. Miami is different from mainland Japan. The city is so humid and hot. How does Miami keep the Japanese gardens beautiful? The garden was located in the MIamin Botanical Garden. The admission was free. it was a bit far from downtown Miami Beach City. I saw a koi fish pond, Japanese style bridge, a Toro-Lantern, and others. Honestly, it was kind messy. This was a hike for us but we are members for all of the gardens and it was a nice day for a drive. It is on the smaller side if you go to many botanical gardens but it was beautiful. They had lots of butterflies when we were here. They have plenty of areas to sit and they had a nice store as well. The guys in the front were super awesome and helpful. It's also right next to the Holocaust Memorial which turns out where we parked was right in the middle of the 2. I highly recommend walking next door to that when you're done. It was a little confusing as there was a private event that the staff was in the middle of preparing for and some areas were blocked off. We were still able to see some beautiful Koi fish and the pond and a couple having a picnic in the gazebo. Wasn't many flowers at this time of year.
