To make a long…read morestory short after several attempts to contact the owners to no avail we were given a passive agressive response and continued to have our questions ignored. We had given this venue a $750 deposit, so I believe we are entitled to find out simple things, such as the size of the tables. Yet, the owners felt different and cancelled my contract after 6 months and left me scrambling to find a venue. There was no explanation for the cancellation and they refused to answer my emails or pick up their phone. Thus, we resorted to trying to contact them on FB. After posting on their FB page we received contacts from several brides dealing with the same situation or complaining how their wedding was handled by the Mother and Daughter running the place. In fact, I actually contacted the better business bureau to help resolve the complaint, but to no surprise, they didn't respond to that complaint and have been given a "F" by the BBB. Please save yourself the headache this venue will give you.

I absolutely LOVED Carmen and her daughter...Can't forget Carmen's dad who took down, hung up, took back down, hung back up things until it was perfect(Thank you!!!) They were so helpful and made my day absolutely perfect. They set everything up, and moved everything when it started raining. Throughout the whole process, I was texting and emailing Carmen and she graciously answered every one of my questions I had and not once was ever rude to me in any way. I kind of felt like family with them. They are all just the most sweet, gracious, humbling people I have met. Throughout my day, Carmen would come in and just check and see if we were satisfied and if there is anything I needed her to do. I just can't explain to you how wonderful it was to know that my venue was 100% taken care of in every way possible. If I had to choose all over again, I would choose Diamonds & Dust every single time. Please, do not go by the review below this one because I can 100% guarantee she is not telling all parts of the story. Thank you all for a wonderful day that I will NEVER forget. **I looked at every dang barn in Indiana and none of them included what Diamonds & Dust offered. And the best part.. the sincerity and genuine care that this is going to be the best day of your life no matter what they have to do to make it that way...is completely priceless. First time at Misthaven Resort! We're out of towners (Minneapolis) who were attending a special…read moreinterest event with our queer friends that took place over a long weekend. Reserving our campsite online through their website was easy, and confirming was also easy. I did end up calling them to ask if we could add an additional camper to our site, and they were super helpful and accommodating in that regard. The grounds are lush, with campsites that are situated on grass or deeper into the wooded area. It's not a massive resort by any means, so even if you pick the furthest away site, everything is easily walkable. The main office where you check-in also serves as a camp store with a few camping essentials and snacks you can buy. You can also connect to their wi-fi here (be warned: it doesn't quite manage to reach all the way to the edges of camp). This main building also has the restrooms/showers, broken into men's and women's (no gender neutral options currently). These are the only restrooms at the camp. Next door is a fun playground with a swingset, monkeybars, and the like. A bit beyond that is their pool, with lots of deckchair recliners. I really enjoyed the pool during the stay, as the weather was quite warm during our late May visit and the water was nice and cool. There's a picnic type pavilion with a stage included, useful for large gatherings. Spent a lot of time there as well. Some areas have more shade than others. Big grassy field for activities. Our membership lasts for a full year, so we'll keep our eyes open for future events they host if it merits the nine hour journey out there!

Clothing-optional swimming pool, drag shows, weekend bonfires and movies, on-site disc golf course, clean updated restrooms and showers, and a small general store full of snacks and soft drinks. Plenty more going on all summer long! We are a private, members-only adult 18+ ONLY campground. We absolutely do not admit anyone under the age of 18. We require each visitor to purchase an annual membership, and then each person either stays for the day by buying a day pass, or makes overnight sleeping/ camping arrangements. We have full hook up sites, 30 and 50 amp sites, pull-through and back-in sites. We can accomplish almost any size RV. We allow pets, of course! We do require dog owners to keep their pets quiet, under control, leashed and picked up after at all times. We do not allow pets in the pool area or in any of our rental units.
