Shine Yoga & Wellness Studio happened to be around the corner from an errand I was running in downtown Noblesville, so it was perfect. Stars aligning and all that. Brittney was the instructor of the Slow Flow class that I visited, and she was super energetic and welcoming. The yoga studio is very small but cozy and incredibly clean. Our class was tiny -- just five people in person and one joining online. (They offer virtual classes here, too!) I'm used to being in much bigger classes where I can just fade into the background, so this was different but nice. Brittney would offer encouragement to us by name, which was a thoughtful touch. Brittney's Slow Flow class was just what I needed today: A chance to move slowly and mindfully for an hour. She even incorporated some pranayama breathing at the beginning of the class to help us get grounded and prepare our bodies for intentional movement. The entrance to Shine faces an alleyway, which can be a little confusing to get to. But there are lots of signs directing you where to go. Just look for the signs!

Happened to check the website a few days later only to learn that the class I had registered for had been canceled. Fine. I emailed the info@bemovedyoga.com email address to request a refund and received no response. So, I emailed three more times and still got no response. I tried to call the studio only to learn that the number they had listed was not in service. So, I guess my drop-in fee was a Christmas gift to them. It's not cool and not very "namaste" of them.
