We received four bids, and Hectors bid was very reasonable and his quote was very detailed and inclusive of materials and a time frame for completion. The crew was wonderful. They were prompt, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every day. We had just had new windows and doors installed and they covered all the new openings before painting to protect them. The crew not only painted our house beautifully, they expertly stained our new woodwork on our porch. The whole job was perfection. After the primer coat went on, my husband and I changed our mind on the color. We were certain that we would be charged a significant change fee as the crew needed to stop mid-job while we were re permitted for the new color. Hector was extremely patient and helpful. His crew came back as soon as we got our new permit and we only had to pay for the new paint! The whole job was the easiest part of our big remodel. When everything was done Hector walked the whole job with us and addressed any little touch ups right there on the spot. I cannot recommend Hector and his team at Astro Painting highly enough. Danny, the owner, and his assistant Alex were meticulous, leaving the house looking incredible. We were so impressed with them, that when we learned that they also specialized in carpentry, we hired them to replace all the crown moldings and frames in our family room and dining room. Again, we were completely blown away! Their love for what they do comes through in their attention to detail and workmanship. He takes time to paint the surfaces properly and can even out surfaces if required due to moisture, and uses only the highest quality paint. For the 2-bedroom job, it was tricky because the prior owner left wallpaper and glue residue on the walls which needed to be carefully removed. Despite this obstacle, Joe handled the difficult task with expert perfection as one cannot even tell the wallpaper was there. Also, he even added in baseboard work and installed new ones where the old ones looked damaged. Joe arrives promptly and charges a reasonable price for the amount of work performed. He also finishes the job within his estimated time frame unless there are extenuating circumstances. Overall, I highly recommend him, which is why I am a repeat customer.
