It wasn't until I woke up from surgery that he said he had to because of the severity of my lumbar spine. 6 months later I had another surgery where some screws came lose and he had to replace them and put in a bracket so more screws didn't come lose, and he almost had to Crack a rib to put the bracket in, but my ribs bent enough, so he didn't have to Crack any ribs. Then a month later I had another surgery because one of the titanium rods got bent outward and sticking out my back like a tent pole and he had to cut it out.. How does one of the strongest metals in the world, bend. Those surgeries were in Aug 2017, Jan 2018, and then Feb 2019. Then In July 2021, I had all the rods, screws, brackets, and pins removed, except he left 2 screws in my spine. He told me on 3 different locations, why he left 2 screws in my back. 1st time when I woke up from surgery, he said that they were left just as a precaution next to 2 different disc's in my spine, L1/2, and L3/4. When I saw him in his office 2 weeks later he said it had left the 2 screws in, because that's where the bracket was he put in and would have had to Crack my ribs to take them out, but he was able to rake the bracket out, which makes no sense. Then 3 months later in Oct 2021, we got in an argument because my back was hurting in my lumber spine and the mri shows a little swelling where the 2 screws were, and he eventually yells at me and said I quote, " If would have taken those screws out, it would have f*****g killed you. Now in 2024, I'm still having lower back problems, and I walk bent forward, and now I will have to use a walker the rest of my life and I'm only 55.

What could have been one of…read morethe most frightening and difficult periods of my life, five months of treatment and two lumbar discectomy surgeries, became manageable because of the care, compassion, and dedication they showed me every single day. Dr. Gottlieb is not only an outstanding surgeon, but also a truly caring human being. He listened to me, reassured me when I was scared, and always took the time to explain things clearly and patiently. His calm presence and genuine concern gave me confidence and peace of mind when I needed it most. His team was just as exceptional, kind, attentive, and always supportive. I never felt like just another patient. Thanks to their expertise and humanity, my recovery is going very well, and I feel hopeful and thankful. I cannot recommend Dr. Gottlieb and his team enough.

Needless to say I know many, many, physicians in all walks of sub specialties including neurology and orthopedics. Keara had gone to physio, pain specialists, got nerve blocks, etc. Her MRI clearly indicated a herniated disc with possible nerve compression. She couldn't sit, sleep, or stand for any long period for almost nine months. I immediately thought of Dr. Gottlieb! Dr. Gottlieb and his staff are remarkable!! Dr. Gottlieb has probable one of the most professional demeanor I have ever had the pleasure of being witnessed to. Keara was so calm, the surgery was about an hour done in an outpatient center at Mercy Hospital. She is back at work and getting ready to begin strengthening rehab. I strongly recommend Dr. Gottl December 30,2019 My daughter is at 98% full strength 90 days post op!! All is perfect for her and she still is glowing about Dr. Gottlieb! In the words of our President, "it was huge!" Thanks Dr G.

It was the most beautiful experience ever. Like all addicts. You know that it's not easy to stop just the first one. I went one or twice more tried to do it obviously I failed now I call that I am dialled in that I want to get my treatment and I'm in that headspace and I get told by I guess the supervisor that Jenna no longer will allow me to use my insurance to go see her that I need to pay $300 out-of-pocket every time I do because according to her I didn't follow her procedures to me. It sounds more like farming people with money than helping people it is crazy to me but it's all good now I know who and what type of person she is well I always knew what type of person she was and the things I've seen of her oof. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want those things that I've seen online.

They made me wait all month for my appointment and for me to come in, which is physically difficult to do on its own, to tell me they won't accept me as a patient. Now, days before my prescription expires, I have to scramble back to my referring doctor to renew my prescription. All the nurse practitioner offered me is suboxone for when I will inevitably go through withdrawal due to their carelessness. My previous pain management doctor has been transitioning all of his opiate clients out of his practice and referred me specifically to Dr. Kamlet because this is his speciality. I assumed there would be little issue. It's a real slap in the face, on top of already having come in last month to receive ketamine treatment for my back-pain and being turned away due to their practice not using ketamine to treat back-pain, which I explicitly explained to the receptionist that I would come in for over the phone. Traversing the ever-changing field of medical care regarding opioid pain medication is hard enough and painful enough without falling victim to this kind of careless and abusive mismanagement.
