After paying off a credit card that I assumed had nothing coming off of it, it was noted when I started getting calls about a single missed payment that they never canceled the account. Yes, should have noticed the monthly, this account was void of any mo that additions and I just made payments to get it out of Biden interest rates. 11 months of payments, zero payment confirmation emails, zero phone calls, zero times into the gym. Club solution: screw you, you owe us for one more month or we won't let you cancel. I have all of the paper work filled out and dated, receipt of the letter sent. I only have two rules as a parent. My player must have fun, and my player must improve season to season. That's it. And the first is WAY more important than the 2nd reason. Our coach KILLED the fun for our player! Left him out of practices! Kept him out of an entire half, and only played him ~5 minutes in the 2nd half of a game AT U10!! When I approached the coach, she very rudely demanded that I immediately leave. 2 days later, we met with the coach, and the age director of coaching to set expectations for the remainder of the season. THOSE EXPECTATIONS WERE NOT MET! Those expectations included 1/2 playing time of games. That was about it! Not only did that not happen, the coach went on to exclude our player from certain aspects of practices! AGAIN U10! Further, our experience is not unique! I have connected with several former CUSA families, and they have expressed very similar experiences.

I saw multiple good coaches simply not allowed to coach, which really turns into no more than babysitting. Even the name change seems shady... likely a way to reset their garbage reputation and trick more people into joining their organization.
