Of course, that was a false promise. Clearly seems that the Left hand does not know what the Right hand is doing. Planting dates were delay, delay, and delay. Finally Will and team appeared only to experience more delay as Jeff loaded and delivered arbor vitae. Patience is a virtue and especially in working with Siebenthaler. All in all, a Great job, and new arbor vitae are beautiful. I have a water supply already set to water for the summer months. As long as one has patience, I recommend Siebenthaler.

Used this group for a few years externalizing and internalizing my sprinkler system. This past…read morespring a guy comes out, says everything is fine, externalizes my sprinklers. Then a few months later, by happenchance, the guys digging in the neighborhood for fiber optic cable says they hit one of my irrigation lines, says they fixed it but to make sure my sprinkler system runs OK. I check that zone (zone 6) and nothing runs. So ok, I call Kettering Irrigation to see what's going on. They send out the same guy who checked everything in the spring, tells me I just don't have zone 6. I tell him how does that make sense? I programmed everything myself and I have a zone 5 and a zone 7, why would I just program a random, nonfunctioning zone 6? He just shrugs his shoulders telling me that even when he checked things in the spring, he put a "?" on zone 6 noting that it didn't run. Okayyy..well why didn't he say anything then?? After about 10 min going back and forth and I'm quite puzzled, he offers to check the voltage of the zone. I also ask if we could run zone 6 and check the water meter to see if water is going somewhere, and lo and behold, the water meter is spinning. FINALLY the guy walks around to see whats going on and there is a HUGE leak in my back yard just pooling with water. He does the repair. I then call the manager to ask that this repair be done free of charge because if this guy had actually done his job in the spring, he would've found this leak. Instead, he tried to argue with me that this zone didn't exist and I've gone MONTHS with a giant leak in my back yard, increasing my water bill and possibly damaging the foundation of my house if this had gone on for longer. So this manager calls the repair guy, who of course denies he ever put the "?" on this zone back in the spring and says he found the issue and fixed it. So instead of believing the customer (why would I just make this up??), the manager splits the middle, and gives me a discount on the repair, but still charges me over $100. Needless to say, I've found a different irrigation company.

We found this company on yelp recommendations for tree services. We contacted them at 8:00 in the…read moremorning and asked if they gave free estimates, and specified that we did not want any work done till we had a quote and confirmed. They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.

After coming out in person to assess the trees, they provided us with what seemed like a solid, straightforward quote. We scheduled the work based on that agreement -- only for them to come back later demanding a higher price ($400 more) and insisting they also take the cut wood that we very clearly said we wanted to keep. They used to excuse for wanting to take the wood as there reason to not complete the job. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, communication completely fell apart after that. They stopped responding, never followed through on the revised plans, and ultimately wasted our time. We rearranged our schedules for their availability, only to be left hanging with no explanation. Professionalism, reliability, and honest pricing matter -- and unfortunately, this company fell short on all three. I would not recommend them based on our experience.

Sidewalk slumped and had a major crack within a couple of weeks - they reinstalled about a year later. Planted incorrect plants and not all of the plants in the contract - took a year and a half to correct that. Spring cleanup and fall cleanup was ok, except the trimming of a couple of bushes. Trimming was very uneven and almost killed an established bush. We requested (multiple times) that they call before they come to the house to do work since we were having other work done on the house and that there were periodic healthcare providers coming out. The remembered twice to do this, but then neglected to do so the 8 other times. The maintenance program was horrible - the mulch was nonexistent in patches; they killed 7 plants with their spraying; and they agreed to pull large weeds and then refused to. After two monthly treatments, they just walked away. I would NOT recommend - they are overwhelmed and the different groups within the organization don't appear to talk to one another.
