I have tried Indian Cuisine in many places. This is one of place where I felt the food is even close to true Indian food. For example, we ordered boti chicken that comes with rice and Tandoori nan. I bet any who has eaten Tardoori naan before would recognize that two pieces of mini bread as Nan. Then the chicken boti comes with 5/6 pieces of small chicken cubes; utterly flavorless. Moreover, the portion size half of what it needs to be. What a waste of money. We regretted going there; you will too if you venture this place. I would recommend to try the Thai Express near by; you will enjoy that food way better. read more

Ordered over Christmas and the chicken Tikka Massala was good as was the Chana Massala, but the butter chicken tasted like cheese whiz and coconut milk mixed together. Don't ever order this dish from here. We had a chef in our party and he was blown away at how bad this was. Into the garbage! read more

Hands down the best meal I've had in a very long time. I've enjoyed Indian food in many different places but this stands alone. Odd that it would be so good in Nova Scotia but if we ever return this will be #1 on our list to stop again. Homemade samosa was perfect as was the naan. We had 4 different curries ~~ the only complaint was the butter chicken seemed to have to much tomato paste. read more

We planned to get take out due to not being able to order until 7:30pm and arriving to pick up around their closing time of 8pm. Once we got there they happily offered to stay open late so we could properly enjoy our meal and even allowed us to order more which was beyond appreciated. I'm only home for a visit and was looking forward to trying the food and it was absolutely amazing!!! The staff were all family and could not have been nicer. We got the Beef Keema fry, Chicken Korma Curry, Butter Chicken, Goat curry and vegetable samosas and all were incredibly delicious! I got all spicy accept one mild and it was cooked to perfection. They also explain the menu very well as we had a first time Indian food eater with us. Absolutely amazing! I'll be back a couple times before I leave and every time I'm home. This small restaurant serves up authentic and delcious Indian/Pakistani food. As an Indian food aficionado my expectations are high. They did not disappoint. I asked the server for a recommendation. She suggested the Kema Fry, a ground beef delicately spiced served with rice and homemade naan. It was freshly cooked and a very satisfying experience for the palate. The naan was different than I am use to but I may like it even better. It has a flaky crust. The restaurant decor is modest and comfortable. This restaurant is run by a family with the father, Mian, the cook. He knows what he is doing! His daughter and son who run the front are very pleasant people. They have not been opened but for a few months so it is a treasure to find in Sydney. They even have an app that you can order ahead of time and pick up to take home! I ordered a dozen samosas (three kinds) to take home. Highly recommend it. read more

It's always nice when you ask for spicy and you actually get spicy. Our vegetable curry was spiced so well. Only the one dish since we are traveling and can't reheat leftovers. It was plenty for two along with an extra order of naan. read more
