OnMarch 16, 2025, I contactedMicamp customer service department and expressly requested the cancellation of our account due to the sale of our business and the cessation of payment processing activities. Despite this clear request, Micamp had continued to debit our bank account without authorization. Iagain contacted customer serviceonAugust 7, 2025, to inquire as to why charges were still occurring. Since that date, I have had multiple conversations withAdam Meinerregardingthis matter, yet the unauthorized withdrawals have continued. I have been assured the account was canceled in March but Micamp has only refunded one month of the unauthorized debit of funds. A total of $1,383.50 was debited and $184.50 was returned. Micamp still owes $1,199.00. As a small business closing out our accounts we need every cent we can get to resolve our accounts. I have communicated with AdamMeiner, Doug Moley and finally Sean Hooleyhan, who said he would call me back in September but never followed through. Where do I start ? We used MiCamp Solutions for our CC processing until I received a call on Friday June 20th 2025 at approximately 5 pm end of business day from a Doug Morley telling me that our CC machine had been hacked and needed to be shut down. I was out of town at time and called my office to let them know that we had no CC machine available for business day Saturday 6/21/25. Doug told me to call him on Monday to discuss which I did and he was unavailable to take my calls. I was passed to several people in office and was assigned to an Allie Taubman who explained to me that someone called MiCamp and pretended they were me on June 18th 2025 asking for our banking to be changed? I received no call or email regarding this change ? Our credit card receipts from June 18 th till June 20th 2025 totaling were $13,748.12 and to this day we have not received our funds. +9 months later. The hacker that Mi Camp let switch our bank account to theirs not only took our $13,748.12 but also ran stolen CC 's thru our machine totaling over a $140k. We could not see on our end that anything but our own receipt charges. Why were we not notified on Wednesday 6/18/26. Our daily receipts total between 5k and 10k . Did a $140k charge not raise a red flag with Mi Camp? Anyway MiCamp told us that we had to open a new account so they can deposit our funds into our bank . 9 months later at $109 a month we have still not received our funds now totaling 14,729.12 with the 9 months paying to open another account. MiCamp then claims that they did not change our banking to a hacker but their Parent company Fiserv did. Well we signed up with MiCamp not Fiserv as a matter of fact never heard of Fiserv till now. Allie told me that Fiserv went after bank of hacker and funds were returned to all the CC"s that were hacked but there was no money to fund us? Is it me or is there something wrong with picture. MiCamp and or Fiserv should be ashamed that our funds were never returned our company. About us: Our company is PK Walsh Hair Solutions for Women. We are a 43 year old 2nd generation family business. We specialize in women's hair loss. Women come into to our specialty salon usually devastated that their losing their hair and we make them feel whole again with one of our hair solutions. All of the Boston area hospitals including Dana Farber send their Cancer patients to us as with Chemo they will lose their hair. When a client walks in our Salon our goal is to be sure before they leave that they are happy and look as natural to the point no one would know they are wearing a wig. It's a very gratifying job to be able to make people smile again. So 9 months later our funds have never been given back to us. A 2nd generation family business who does nothing but help people in need. I gave MiCamp the benefit of doubt (9 months) that they would give us our funds but they have no intention of doing so even though they are the ones that let a hacker change our banking without even checking with us to be sure this wasn't fraud . Also I tried to cancel the 2nd account that they told me to open so they could return our fund for 3 months. They still kept taking $109 a month out even after telling them 3 times to stop. Finally yesterday my bank shut them down. Reading several other reviews I see other company's have been going thru same with MiCamp. 43 years in business never had a problem with CC processing or someone giving out our info till MiCamp. I am the Director of Administration for a company and pervious ownership had opted to use Mi camp for our merchant services. We needed to get the account changed from that owner's name to current ownership as we were not able to access our batching reports to ensure customer payments were being applied to the correct accounts, pretty important right? They didn't seem to think so. They strong us along for weeks (while they were present) saying it would only be one more week and we would be all set up and live. WRONG. after about 1 month of that they completely went dark and would not return any calls. You better believe they still charge us for the fees though! Sage Lawrence and Doug Morley told us this would do what we needed to do with Quickbooks and their product did not do as we were promised. This has gone on for over a year now. They are taking money out of our bank account monthly and we are not receiving any sevices. Terrible experience with their staff for our company. We have been emailing/calling/following up and all we get in response is an @Sage Lawerence or @Doug Morley but then no response. We were scammed into not only signing a lease with MiCamp for credit card services but also their equipment which is still in their original boxes because we cannot use them. We asked them if we can return it and stop the billing and they say yes then will not provide an address where we can send the equipment. They run business like a scam! First jack up the rate without notifying me, charging almost 10% on credits cards payments . Delaying cancellation process by lying and misleading. from 1/24 to 5/24,after numerous calls to cancel, after many promises of credit me back the differences, they still charging me hundreds of dollars every month, forced me to close my bank account. Terrible experience for our new company! We were scammed into not only signing a lease with MiCamp but also an equipment lease that was never mentioned that last for 4 years. This equipment is outdated and we pay enough for it every month that we could outright purchase it EACH month. We have to continue paying for this lease for 3+ years as there is a no cancelation policy. MiCamp charges were way above what we were told and there are many fees each month. So far we have been unable to cancel even with written cancelation submitted and they continue to take money from our account each month in "minimum fees" of $204. This company is a scam and this will continue to effect our business for the next 4 years! read more

Update: After listening to my issues, Micamp did agree to wave the fee for cancelling the account. I have moved the review up to a 4 star because the equipment issues could also have been from the equipment provider Clover. Poor Customer Service and tech support. We had them as a preferred servicer for a new practice management system. Their equipment constantly lost connection to our network even after we made the upgrades they requested. We opened a new office and moved the equipment and account there. Their tech support tried to reprogram the machine three times but were never able to get the equipment working. We paid our monthly service fee for 10 months without being able to use their service and they still charged me $350 for cancelling before the 3 year agreement. read more

I don't write many negative reviews unless its justified. I signed up with this company a year ago. Great communication before signing up. As soon as I was signed up communication dropped off. I emailed them multiple times without response. On my last email I sent a follow up email 3 more times and still nothing. Then when I called them to cancel they said I had to sign a bunch of stuff to cancel. I couldn't simply cancel over the phone. Then when I received the documents to cancel, the first page was a cancellation page and ALL the other pages were ads for new services. I sent back the cancellation page and then they responded saying I had to initial the other 9 pages that again were ads for new service. Obviously a tactic to make cancellation a hassle so that people get discouraged and don't cancel and also a tactic to make sure we see their ads. Really a bad way to do business. They never personally asked why I was cancelling or how they could do better. They just wanted to make sure I initial their ad pages...wow read more

Really rough experience with these guys. They handle customer service for data one merchant services. I had an issue where i cancelled with data one in 2018 in writing. The agent didn't believe me, even when I forwarded the emails from 2018 and the document I sent in. This was unbelievably unprofessional. He did absolutely nothing to help resolve the issue. He said he would issue a 6 month refund, which wasnt sufficient, but I was going to take it, but it never came. Truly a bad, unprofessional, and dishonest company. read more

We are a Veteran owned company who made the mistake in believing MiCamp was right for us regarding Merchant Services. However, their rep was a total used car salesman which I had the bd misfortune of believing. I was told to DocuSign documents never suspecting I was signing the most onerous lease ever. Almost $12k for a $500 machine at best. I didn't know this until I get a lease agreement in the mail. The rep never once sat down with me and explained what we were getting into. When the rep found out I was upset about the deal...she called me at 11:30 at night to at which point i blocked her number. To add insult to injury, after calling several times, I finally was able to tell my story to a manager who assured me they would ACH me $500 to help cove a fraction of the cost. When the money never came as promised (11/9) at the latest...I reached back out and got the song and dance where they blame accounting etc. Bottom line Veterans and others...I would strongly recommend you stay clear of this company and their people. read more

This is the worst merchant service imaginable. My wife has been with them for years, but it's over now. What pi poor service. You can't even reach them on the phone, they keep passing the problem you have over to someone else. I wouldn't even give them one star. It's truly a nightmare. We have been with this company for about 10 months. we have LOST money with them every month due to bad programming, bad billing and straight out misinformation. When a business owner says I'll get right back to you it shouldn't take 10 days to track down someone who can help. The latest problem today was that I called about a $280 charge that was new but no explanation as what that new charge was for. I've been asking for an explanation for over a week now....nothing but "I'LL pass the message on to Mike Banks the software guru. I was told he would call the owner immediately. When I called back five hours later I got an attitude from Nancy saying he already called the owner. I said I don't think so. She put me on hold for 5 minutes came back on the phone and stated Mike would call him in 10 minutes. HMMMM heard that before. we will see. BEWARE!! As a new business I was originally called by these people saying that they could help me accept cards through on of their subsidiaries MiCamp. We agreed to a set amount each month plus the percentage from the cards that I processed. I told them I was a new business and that I didn't process cards but rarely if at all. However they said it would only be $5 per month and then the percentages. I figured this wasn't so bad until they kept taking $30 out of my account every month. I finally had to put a stop payment on my account in order to keep them from withdrawing from my bank account. Months later I got a letter in the mail saying I owed them eight hundred and some change. I gave them a call and Mary Betzold was busy so they said she would give me a call back. I agreed and next thing I knew I never got a call back except from a collection agency. I would've been happy to settle up with them but they didn't give me a call back for some time and then sent me strait to collections. All for a company that I never used. I feel tricked but it sounds like they do it a lot to all the small business guys. TONS OF HIDDEN FEES... I would steer wayy clear of this company. read more
