Whether you're heading I75 north or south across Alligator Alley, this service plaza checks off all the boxes in terms of travel needs. Being one of the only structures around for miles it's a great place to pull into. It's undergone significant renovations in past years so the current condition is really good. With a convenience store, cafe, Dunkin & large restroom that's always clean, you might as well stop by. Within the massive parking lot you'll find plenty of pumps to fill up. The spaces are huge so they accommodate any vehicle whether a motorcycle or RV. The gas prices are relatively accurate in comparison to any "regular" gas station you might go to. It's good to see they don't raise their prices knowing they're the only option out there. As far as inside goes, the businesses are all solid. Whether you get some food from the Glades Cafe or a coffee from Dunkin, you'll be satisfied. Once again, the pricing is super fair & it seems like most of the employees working here are friendly. These places are efficient considering they're dealing with a constant flow of customers all day. As far as my experiences over the years have gone, they've been nothing but positive. If it's your thing, they also have a small casino located right next door. I've never been inside but it seems to get a good flow of people. Personally, I stop by here on most trips across the Alley. Even if you use it to just get out & stretch your legs, the surrounding Everglades are beautiful to look at. It's a win/win scenario having this service plaza. read more

Welcome to the Miccosukee Service Plaza... where convenience meets armed robbery pricing. This place should honestly greet you with a giant warning sign that says: "Attention travelers: abandon all budgetary hope ye who enter here." Now to be fair, they rebuilt the plaza and physically it looks great. Clean, modern, spacious, and far nicer than the old roadside stop it replaced. You walk in thinking, "Wow, this is actually pretty impressive." And then you look at the prices and suddenly feel like you accidentally wandered into an airport terminal designed by oil companies. Case in point: TEN DOLLARS. For a single-serving bag of Kettle brand potato chips. I stared at the price tag like it had personally insulted my family. For ten dollars, those chips better have been cooked by a Michelin-star chef and blessed by a shaman before being placed on the shelf. And the gas prices? A full dollar more per gallon than what I paid before leaving home earlier that day. A DOLLAR. At today's prices, that's not a "slight markup." That's a financial hostage situation with fuel pumps. But here's the thing... They know exactly what they're doing. Because for roughly 25 miles in either direction, there's basically nothing around except swamp, gators, and your rapidly increasing sense of vulnerability as the fuel gauge drops. So yes, if you HAVE to stop, stop. Use the restroom. Buy the overpriced chips. Accept your fate. But let's be clear: nobody is choosing this stop because of value. This is survival shopping. A pretty nice little service plaza that offers a variety of different food and drink options! Located off the ally, this location has many gas pumps to choose from as well as a little casino if gambling is something you're into. I heard it wa very nice but didn't get a chance to pop into that portion of this plaza but I will next time! The gas prices here are reasonable especially because they can charge whatever they want, being the only gas station in such a huge radius of space! The pumps were all clean and there's more than enough parking for when I wanted to run inside. I decided to grab a couple croquettes and a toastada from one of the kiosks inside. While it did take a bit of time (because I think they forgot to press the bread) it was amazing, all the food. The croquettes were massive and flavored perfectly for both the ham and queso ones I got. The toast had a perfect amount of butter on it and a wonderful crunch to the crust! read more

Miccosukee Service Plaza is so dang NICE!!! Everything is super clean and organized. We've been here a few times when we drive to/from Orlando. Located on Alligator Alley at Exit 49 (Snake Road). Plenty of parking, The bathrooms are spotless. Gas station with affordable gas. Convenience store is organized with a variety of necessities and unique finds too. There are two food options here, Glades Café and Dunkin'. Bonus is finding a casino! I feel like I'm back in Vegas where you can find casinos everywhere. Ha. Still a pretty nice service plaza, always very clean and the staff is (usually) real nice! A wide variety of items to buy here in the gift shop that include gator teeth and feet. They also have a casino located right next door as well. The glades café has some really good Cuban foods to grab as well as some drinks. I usually get a Cuban toast and some croquettas! Their ham ones are some of my favorite and the toast is always crispy and buttery! Prices are reasonable amongst everything through the store as well! Don't let the low reviews dissuade you from coming here since most of the lower star reviews are from before the gas station, bathrooms and inside were completely renovated. They not only have regular gas pumps, they also have charging stations for those with electric vehicles. They also have parking for 18 wheelers, WiFi and showers. If you're feeling lucky, they have a smoke free casino that has over 150 slot machines. If you're hungry go inside to the Glades Cafe where there are offering up some good food or head over to the Dunkin' for some food or drinks from there. There's also a small gift/convenience store where you can buy some souvenirs or snacks. Also, the bathrooms here are always kept nice and clean. The service plaza was safe and well lit, it's the only charging station between West Palm Beach and Naples so FYI if you drive EV. I appreciated that uniqueness of this stop. There's literally a small casino attached to it, and when you go into the side, where one would be looking for candy bars, and sodas, and everything else you would naturally find in a gas station, there are no prices on anything. So be prepared for that, if you want some beef jerky, you might want to consider that when you get to the register, you'll find out that that beef jerky is $12. Other than that it was clean, it had a Dunkin' Donuts inside, and a little restaurant serving stuff that I gathered was in the family of empanadas, hot dogs that kind of stuff - The holy grail of gas station food basically lol. They also had a lot of jewelry and knickknacks for souvenirs if you're that kind of person. Overall, the quality of this location is cool. Located off Alligator Alley (closer to the Naples side than Broward), this service plaza is the only gas/food (non vending) stop along the alley. They have regular and diesel fuel as well as Tesla charging stations. The gas station is spacious as is the service plaza. You can get food, clothes, souvenirs, Dunkin, plus more inside the plaza. Nice rest area while you're on the 75 north. You can make gas here sit at the picnic area infront of the entrance and get coffee at Dunkin and or other things you need. Fruit salads available next to Dunkin and also spacious many stalls restroom. Looked clean. Don't need any service but there were people around if you needed assistance. We needed to use a restroom before getting in an airboat tour near by so we stopped by to use the facilities. They have a big store with generic foods, nothing special, but if you need a snack, you can find something to grab. The restrooms here are way better than I imagined! I didn't get anything to eat, but the people seemed nice to other customers. The bathrooms were clean. There was a variety of food to eat and plenty of places to sit down and relax. They also have plenty of gas dispensers and charging stations. This is proably the most unique and cleanest gas station I've been to. The old, out dated Miccosukee Service Plaza that opened across the way in 1989 has been replaced! The Snake Road land and service plaza are owned by the Miccosukee Indian Tribe. The old plaza on the Snake Road interchange off of Alligator Alley offered the things that had never been found here before, a place to rest, refreshment, and rest rooms. Clerks in red polo shirts sold cigarettes, postcards, ice cream, aspirin, and coffee. Many people stopped to see this outpost of civilization in the middle of nowhere. Through the years the plaza was worn down by storms. The brand new plaza opened last summer. It is now a state of the art Travel Plaza which has a fast food restaurant, Dunkin', retail store, electric charging stations, and 26 gas pumps for both cars and semis. They also have lots of clean restrooms. You can grab a meal, snack, or drink, purchase a souvenir, stretch your legs, and charge your Tesla, all in the middle of the Everglades. They even have a fenced in dog park. Keep heading down Snake Road and you will arrive at the Seminole Clewiston Reservation where you can visit the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum and Billie's Swamp Safari. The new plaza is a very handy place to have when you are traveling across the state. read more

This service plaza is a little oasis on 75 while crossing from one side of Florida to the other. We've stopped in about 3 times, late at night for a pit stop and a squirt of gas. I'm always a little cautious about stopping in gas stations very late at night. Miccosukee is OK though. All three times, there was a police car there with an officer in it. There were also several employees there. Things are always well lit. There are a couple fast food places on the inside, but always closed when we stop in late at night. Restrooms were clean and working. The price of gas is about 50-75 cents higher there, but it's in the middle of nowhere, so what can you do? read more

Wow, what a huge difference. I don't remember when was the last time that I was here but now it's totally different they remodel. Actually they did a new service top. It's super modern. It's beautiful outside and inside they have many gas pumps they even have a Tesla charger with different chargers for like different cars, and when I went inside the service station, it was super nice and clean. They have things for sell like a regular gas, stop and more. They also have to coffee shop, including Dunkin' Donuts. And I went to the restroom and it was impeccable. I thought this used to be the Shell station with the huge "shit shop" inside that had all kinds of stuff to buy, from souvenirs to food to souvenirs and more junk! It was full of fun stuff. Maybe the Shell as the rundown piece of property next to this very new looking plaza... The only service station on the Alley at Snake Road for what feels like a million miles (it's so not that bad), but I was really running low on fuel and well.....you stop in the middle of nowhere, they're gonna getcha! So, the gas prices are super high, so I only filled up enough (plus a bit) to get me to a not too far destination (Marco Island)... I did not venture inside, this was a super quick stop.. Perfect spot before getting into Fort Lauderdale to top up. Several of the pumps were broken and we had to go inside to get gas. Inside you'll find a Latin/Hispanic hot food section inside. Surprisingly large and clean restrooms. It would be nice to label the pumps to see the attendant. read more
