One of our group has a tomato allergy and we weren't sure how much of a selection he would have. The waitress went back and redlined the menu to show what he could have, what he couldn't, and what they might be able to alter. Super nice and it didn't take more than a few minutes. As for the food, a-maz-ing Indian. I recommend their prawn special - not too spicy but very flavor forward. The naan was a nice side to order as well. This location is fairly big with seating on the main floor, downstairs, and outside in a cover lounge area. We had a reservation, although they probably could have handled us if we didn't. That said, it was a busy weekend and the place looked fairly full by the time we left, so maybe grab a reservation. Enjoy!

Everyone I know who visits London comes home raving about this place, so even though I'd never had…read moreIndian food before, I had to see what the hype was about. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks, with a front patio, a bar, and multiple dining rooms. It was completely packed. After 6 p.m. it's walk-in only, and the hostess gives you a buzzer while you wait. I started with the house chai, which was warm and perfectly spiced. For dinner I ordered the Chicken Ruby, basmati rice, garlic naan, and crispy okra fries. Now I get the hype. The Chicken Ruby was rich, spicy, and packed with flavor, the naan was perfect for soaking up every bit of sauce, and the okra fries were so crunchy I couldn't stop eating them. This place absolutely lived up to its reputation. They also serve breakfast, and there's so much on the menu that I already plan to come back a few more times before I leave London.

Good, a bit sweet. Messy to eat. 3/5 Truffle fries - good but average 4/5 Polenta - very tasty, a must. 3/5 Duck and waffle - I expected this to be bigger but it was good. I normally prefer chicken but the duck wasn't bad. All the food was decent and the staff were all nice. It's unfortunate that the walk to the restaurant passes by the smelly toilets. Also there was only one lift working that day so it took a little time to get up/down.

I've been looking forward to visiting Duck & Waffle for quite some time. The views are incredible,…read morethe space itself is striking, and on paper it promises that perfect London mix of skyline, late-night energy, and elevated comfort food. Unfortunately, our experience was soured before it even had a chance to begin. My girlfriend and I walked in excited, completely amicable, simply hoping to head upstairs for a bite and drinks. We were greeted by the doorman with an immediate, dismissive "Are you good?" -- not in a welcoming or helpful tone, but in a way that felt skeptical and unnecessarily confrontational. There was no warmth, no "welcome in," no attempt at hospitality. It immediately set an uncomfortable tone. He then proceeded to call upstairs as though he were doing us some sort of favor just by allowing us to go up. The entire interaction felt transactional and judgmental rather than gracious. First impressions matter, especially at a place that positions itself as a premium dining destination. Hospitality begins at the door, not at the table. When we finally made it upstairs, the room was filled with visibly drunk, rowdy groups -- which only made the earlier attitude feel even more misplaced. If that environment is acceptable (and profitable), then two polite guests looking for drinks and food shouldn't be met with suspicion at the entrance. By that point, the damage was done. The initial interaction had already rubbed us the wrong way, and the energy upstairs didn't help. We ultimately decided to leave before even sitting at our table. That's how strongly the first impression impacted us. It's difficult to justify staying somewhere when you don't feel genuinely welcomed from the outset. Duck & Waffle has the potential to be memorable for all the right reasons. But someone representing the brand at the very front needs to understand that hospitality isn't optional -- it's foundational. A simple, respectful welcome would have changed everything. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should feel judged or dismissed before they even step inside.

We stumbled in on a whim, just looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat for dinner, and found a restaurant where everything was incredible. You cannot go wrong. The Patas bravas was really good, though simple. It was presented in a really cool way, with a dipping sauce on the side. The spinach croquettes were so tasty and cheesy. The yellowtail sashimi was really refreshing. The braised short rib was INCREDIBLE- so tender and flavorful. With great onion rings. The best thing we ate, by far, was the grilled octopus. It was perfectly tender and crispy at the same time. It had such good flavor and such a good sauce. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The waiter was really great, we were in between a few items and he actually decided to surprise us and picked some items for us. The aperol spritz was also really tasty and well balanced! If you're looking for a place to eat near tower bridge, you can't go wrong with Bravas! The dessert was also really good- it was soaked in this delicious cream sauce and had a fun mango sorbet on the side

We arrived at Bravas Tapas for our 5:30 PM reservation on a particularly hot day. The location by…read morethe docks is undeniably charming, but the indoor dining space was uncomfortably warm. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't have full air conditioning--only a few lucky seats are positioned near the AC unit. We even brought portable fans, which ended up being necessary as the sun set directly into the restaurant's glass frontage, heating things up quickly. We ordered a broad selection of tapas: octopus, the salmon-wrapped sweet potato crisp, fennel salad, pork belly, spinach balls, and the bravas potatoes. The food was hit and miss. The pork belly was the highlight--flavorful and tender with a sweet glaze. However, other dishes fell flat. The fennel salad surprisingly came with canned pineapple, the spinach balls tasted like they were made with frozen spinach, and the bravas potatoes were essentially frozen fries--not what you'd expect from a place with this kind of setting and pricing. Service started out fine but slowed down significantly over the course of the meal. A couple of our dishes were forgotten entirely, and the heat made the wait feel even longer. Overall, Bravas Tapas had its moments, but between the uneven food quality, heat, and spotty service, it left us more frustrated than satisfied. It's a beautiful spot with potential, but there's room for improvement--especially when it comes to consistency and comfort.

Found this restaurant on Yelp after seeing such great reviews and I wasn't disappointed! At first, I was nervous my friend and I wouldn't get a table due to how busy the restaurant was but since we were only two people, we had no issue getting a table. Seating is tight! You are almost arm to arm with the individuals sitting around you which I actually found to be a great experience. My friend and I ended up striking conversation with the people next to us which led to a fun dining experience. Service was quick! We ordered food and it came out quickly and all waiters were super attentive. In terms of food, everything was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were huge! First we ordered the lamb chops and the samosas which were absolutely amazing. We then ordered the chicken and lamb dishes with the naan which completely filled us. I can't wait to come back and I will absolutely be dreaming about this restaurant until I come back!
