the worst dentist ever!!! his wife pam lamp is the office manager and she is a thief. i went to lamp for a broken tooth, he talked me into a full exam without telling me the cost. but i will take the blame for that, for i should have asked how much that would cost, but i did not, so i will take blame for that. after the x-ray and the exam he tells me that he wants me to use a prescription toothpaste "clinpro 5000" made by the 3m company. he however does not write me the prescription, he excpects me to buy it from him at a cost of $22 for 113 grams wich is approximately 4 ounces. i did not buy it from his office, which seemed to be a problem. i paid for my visit and went home. i looked up the clinpro 5000 on good rx and cvs pharamcy sells it for $12.97, $9.03 cheaper than lamp. my visit was on october 14th, 2020. i called lamp's office on october 15th and asked them to call in the prescription at cvs pharmacy, they did not like that at all. this was a thursday and they are closed friday, saturday and of course sunday. so i had an appointment with lamp set for november 16th, 2020 to take care of a cavity which i cancelled after receiving a registered, certified letter from them on october 24th (the letter was sent out on october 20th, 6 days after my first visit) stating that they are refusing to treat me except on an emergency basis only for the following 30 days. the reason that they gave, was it was best for all involved. no it was best for lamp he got $132 from me and now refusing me treatment! oh yes they had the nerve to send me a reminder for my november 16th appointment after they sent me that letter. yeah right i will let that jerk lamp touch me again! so i sent them an email asking them if they are serious, dream on, i stated in my email that i would not be returning to lamp ever again and that they needed to refund my money. this was on the 26th of october. i waited until the 30th of october and they never responded. i called my cc company explained everything and disputed the charges. pam lamp responded to my cc company stating that i got service.....pammer the scammer is who she is. anyhow i had to fight them tooth and nail to get my money back. it took three months but i sent in all my documents including the certified letter that i received from them and thank the good lord they did not get away with stealing my money. it was quite the ordeal but i won....yay the evil thieves lost and the good prevailed, thank the good lord. if you check google reviews they have over 100 five star reviews, not one 4, 3, 2 or 1....all 5 star, friends and family definitely, total lies, beware! if i would have read a review like this i would never have went to that horrible dentist. i would have saved myself a lot of stress. so do yourself a favor and stay away from micheal lamp in sun n lakes of sebring, florida. i hope this saves someone from going through what i went through. i have documentation, which i will add to this review in about 6 weeks when i return home. read more

I can't stress how absolutely seamless the whole experience was. I had a bubble that formed on my gums a few days ago that was painful, and I was worried. I called and asked to come in, and Della said that they don't have any availability until Monday. She stressed that she was concerned about it becoming painful over the weekend and recommended other offices. I looked around but decided to make the appointment for today with them. Della told me on Thursday when I called to make my appointment, if I were to get antibiotics what to get. She knew the exact dosage, how many times to take it, everything. So very smart and kind. I got prescribed the antibiotics then and started taking them in advance. Once I went in for my appointment, I did my paperwork online, so I got sat right in. Bridgette was my nurse, and she was very sweet. She did my x-ray, which took a couple of tries because it was stubborn. She thanked me for being patient and understanding. Dr. Andrei Dragomer, the dentist, was phenomenal. I went in for my appointment at 12, and he reviewed my x-ray right there and told me everything he saw. He offered my options and recommended what he thought was the best course of action. He emphasized that my situation did need to get handled quickly as it could come back and be more painful. I thought over my options, and I was able to come back at 330 to get my tooth extracted. The tooth extraction went very well. I had to get 4 shots in order to numb, but he explained it's a 1/10 chance of this happening, and it just so happened to me 3 times in a row, lol. He asked what I was comfortable with about showing me what's going on and explaining what he was doing every step of the way. He was also so kind to Bridgette, who was helping with the extraction. He thanked me for being nice to work with and seemed to really enjoy what he does. Overall, he is the absolute best dentist I have ever been to in my entire life. 100000/10 would recommend. read more

I recently switched dentists because my job required a change of location. Sun and Lake dental was very convenient and had excellent reviews. The office was extremely efficient. From my first calling them to make an appointment they were able to email me all the paperwork, suggest getting prior recorded & xrays ahead of time which made the experience arriving at the office for an 8 AM appointment seamless. I was seen promptly, within five minutes of the appointment time. The technician who did the work up and x-rays was very friendly and was able to analyze my past x-rays which were done within six months and the dentist suggest filling in a few gaps as well as doing a panorama scan. As a courtesy, they did not charge me for the x-rays since I had forwarded my previous ones to save some time. The dentist, Dr. D was extremely friendly, efficient and thorough and pointed out a few things that could be done, but was not pushy and suggested that observation was certainly reasonable given that they likely been stable for a while. I had dental cleaning and the hygienist was very nice and also quite efficient and thorough. All the staff were very complementary to the extensive prior dental work and implant I had done many years ago when I was in New York, which I found very professional. The entire experience lasted only 75 minutes (2 hours were allotted) and I was able to get to work on time. I like to get my teeth cleaned every three months and I was able to make two subsequent appointments without hassle or delay. When I checked out today, they said that they would submit everything to insurance and then send me a bill for any remainder and didn't require me to pay anything upfront, which I also found extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Lamps office is the best office I've been to since my favorite dentist in Indiana retired. This is the most well ran, most organized and professional office. You get your own personal hygienist. Stephanie my hygienist made me feel like family. I will be a patient the rest of my life or until Dr. Lamp decides to retire. I can say they are knowledgeable and up to date on dental procedure. I have gotten cleans my whole life. This is the best my teeth have ever felt. I tried another dentist in the area and it did not work out. When I spoke with the staff about why I came to Dr.Lamp. They handled my concerns like a doctor and stuff should. As a diabetic, they cared about how my diabetes effects my dental health. I've been a tobacco user my whole life. When asking me about it they did not give me grief which other dentists have. Stephanie approached me in this manner- "If your not going to quit at least change sides in your mouth to help with your dental hygiene". I spent the whole evening bragging to my wife about their office and family atmosphere. She goes in a few days behind me. We both thought we would never find a dentist as good as our previous office. Welcome home came to mind when I was thinking about my visit. Trustworthy is the one word I'd use to describe them. Do yourself a favor and make them your dental Family. This place is a TRUE dental office!! They know their stuff and are just friendly down to earth people. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. This place is the best!! It's not a corporate chain, so they are not rushing you out the door or trying to figure out how to get an extra $$$ out if you. They are just honest people that try to get to know you, so they know what works best for you. Everyone from the receptionist, to billing, to the hygienist, all the way to Dr. Lamp are just exceptional people. I love the fact that I have never had to wait more than an minute or two for my dental appointment. They run a tight ship and try to stay on track. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I have had several types of insurances through the years and they have always tried working with them. I would highly recommend them - the work they do is top notch, the dental hygienist are thorough and friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with their work and check to make sure they look at any preventative maintenance possible. I have been seeing Dr. Lamp for about 15 years now and while we use to live 2 miles away I now live 2 hours away. The reason for this is Dr. Lamp and his staff couldn't be more professional, kind and helpful so I drive that far to have the best. I have never had a dentist the was so kind and gentle while working on my teeth. His Team is amazing as the always work with me to make sure they get me in. I never had another staff work so hard to help. I have seen my Hygienist (Dana and Stefanie) for years and I couldn't be more happy with them. I have been going to Dr. Lamp for quite a few years now since Dr.Hulen's retirement. I absolutely love their office. Everyone is friendly and very professional, which is very hard to find in a Dr's office these days. I am in the medical field and will not go to anyone else. Dr. Lamp is an awesome dentist, honest about any work that needs to be done, not just trying to get you to come back for extra dental work like other offices. He has a calm manner and very patient. My first experience was one I'd needed 4 little cavities filled. I told Dr Lamp to be gentle because I had always liked going to the dentist. The dentists and hygienists in this office are very experienced and top-notch professionals. I especially like my hygienist Brett. I have gone to him for years and he picks up on changes in my teeth immediately. I was very impressed with the new dentist, Dr. Dragomer. he looked at my x-rays and did a quick exam and assessed my situation immediately. He gave me pros and cons of making any changes. I went to Dr. Lamp's office to have my teeth cleaned. They x-rayed my teeth and did a very thorough inspection before the cleaning. Once the cleaning was finished Dr. Lamp came in and looked at x-rays.There was an area that the hygienist was concerned about.
