When we signed on to this we were never provided a time expectation. However when I was a child in braces I was in my braces for 2 years and seen EVERY 4 weeks religiously by my orthodontist. How is my child going to complete her treatment plan in 2 years when they only schedule her every 8 weeks?!? That is if they have availability to see you that often. No we are being told her treatment plan was for 2 years but it's been four so they're pulling the plug. My child never sees the same doctor consistently. When I raised concerns her dentist had about her decalcification I was told by her original orthodontist "once we have her smile perfected the dentist can go in to fix any small cavities." It wasn't until she started seeing a second (and third) orthodontist through their office that and concerns were voiced. Now that we're ending our treatment plan I'm being told that the unlimited retainers that my payment plan was supposed to cover may not be that. When I mentioned ordering an extra set of retainers in case one was lost to avoid going with them. I was told I would need to pay for the second set. My advice. Make sure you're child is mature enough to take on this commitment. Make sure you know how long the treatment plan is for your child and what exactly it covers. Ask for a second opinion. I'm learning now that the treatment plan and time is not what others would have recommended. I know all businesses are meant to make a profit, but I feel I may have been talked into a orthodontic factory that didn't consider my child's best interest

I had an appt with another local orthodontist and i was told I had to have regular braces with brackets and wires and the cost was a few thousand more that what I was expecting. I was not too keen on the idea of brackets OR the price but I thought, it is what it is... I was nervous that this would make him afraid to go to the dentist but he went through the whole procedure like it was nothing because Dr. John and Ms. Claudia made him feel super comfortable and relaxed. We've been seeing the drs here for over two years and couldn't be any happier. When it comes to pediatrics dentists, it's never an easy chore. I have 3 Kids all 17 months apart and each could t be any more different than the other. The great thing is that they know inherently how to work with each of them; particularly with my son that has sensory issues and auditory processing disorder. I can't begin to tell you how challenging it's been to find a doctor for him in Orlando. The practice is very nice, extremely clean and has a very amazing staff. The office works hard so that we know of any costs not covered by insurance and the prices are very fair. Most importantly...let's talk about scheduling and waits. Surprise! They schedule appropriately and we have NEVER waited. Plus they even have enough chairs that all 3 of my kids can get cleaned and examined all at once!!! I love this place :-)
