Our entire family of seven have been patients of Dr. Michael Bergstein for over 22 years. He has done a total of seven surgeries on my family and you could not ask for a more competent, caring, professional and devoted surgeon. We came to the practice when my 24 year old son was a toddler and we would never think of taking our ENT needs anywhere else! I've been seeing Dr. Bergstein for about a year now since I decided it was time to diagnose and solve my sinus issues. I couldn't be happier with the care I've received. I recently had sinus surgery to repair a deviated septum, turbinate reduction and adenoids removed. I had been really hesitant to get the deviated septum surgery but I knew that I needed it. Everyone always recommended Dr. Bergstein so finally I went to see him. I was only in high school and you could tell that Dr. Bergstein was a very caring and knowledgable doctor. He took the time to discuss what was happening in my nose and why I couldn't breathe half the time. I was still nervous about it and thought of surgery did not sit well with me. He wasn't pushy to get the surgery but I would go for checkups to try and keep it under control. Years later, it got worse and I finally got the surgery done in December of 2014. I honestly don't know why I hadn't gotten it sooner. I can finally breathe better and have had no difficulties since the surgery. I continuously go for checkups. I never feel rushed out of the office like most doctors try to do when they are running late. He talks to you like a person and makes sure all of your questions are answered. I have recommended Dr. Bergstein to everyone and will continue to recommend him to people. You don't come across doctors this great now a days, but Dr. Bergstein is one of those doctors. read more

My 15 year old daughter recently had surgery with Dr. Bergstein. He was wonderful! Professional, polite and very patient with my daughter and myself. The procedure was to repair a deviated septum and a small bump on the nose which developed after my daughter broke her nose. It has been almost 2 months and my daughter can now breath out of BOTH nostrils instead of just one. This is extremely important because she enjoys sports and has asthma. Our daughter often struggled to breath when she had a mouth guard in and was running across a field. We are also extremely satisfied with the aesthetic portion of the procedure. I went to Dr. Bergstein for my septoplasty and rhinoplasty after almost 19 years of breathing issues. Unfortunately, Dr. Bergstein was not able to perform the cosmetic part of my surgery due to an injury, but he was able to get me into surgery with himself and a trusted colleague of his just one week after my previously-planned surgery date.
