My 3yo had stuffed an unidentified object up his nose, and my husband and I had no idea how to get it out. We booked an appointment with Dr. Spingarn, which was terrific because three other places had rejected us because of our son's age. The wonderful lady at the front desk was friendly, professional, and able to juggle many patients (in the office and over the phone) with grace and patience. The nurse we initially saw was personable, knowledgeable, and so good with our son! Her kind demeanor put my mind at ease. Dr Spingarn was cool, calm, and collected, and his attitude was reassuring! After assessing the situation and listening to what my husband and I could explain, he figured out a way to pull out what turned out to be an almost 2-inch-long piece of memory foam from our son's nose. Dr. Aaron Spingarn is very knowledgeable and informative. His staff are friendly and welcoming. I've paid him several visits so far, and he has always resolved my issues. I've never had to wait as I've made appointments in advance, which have been rather last minute, sometimes scheduled on the same day. this was my first time to an ENT doctor. I had been suffering with terrible allergies for months and after some research i found Dr. Spingarn, he was very friendly and took the time to hear all of my concerns, he did not rush and I felt like he had a lot of patience and expressed genuine concern for finding the root of my problem. I had a head cold that would not go away after 14 days. I realized I needed to see an ENT. I found Dr. Spingarn on ZocDoc as the only ENT with a Saturday appointment. I was so lucky! Dr. Spingarn was very thorough in his exam. He took the time to ask me detailed questions about my symptoms and used a scope to examine my nose. He found a sinus infection and prescribed a medication that has cleared it up with minimal side effects. I am very grateful to the doctor for his excellent care. read more

Dr. Spingarn is a wonderful doctor. I saw him on an emergency basis on a Saturday Saturday at my wits end with laryngitis quite bad and I was very concerned. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Hartsdale Office of Dr. Aaron Spingarn with Westchester ENT. My son, Damon Christian McGee Jr. has allergies and I made an appointment with Dr. Spingarn in order to ameliorate his condition. I was able to make that appointment for 12:30PM on a Saturday afternoon which was so convenient in that I did not have take time from my work schedule. The wait was brief. The staff was empathetic, kind, and professional. We were able to see Dr. Spingarn almost immediately after having Damon's vitals taken. Dr. Spingarn was very deliberate and patient in explaining the process of obtaining relief through immunotherapy injections or what are more commonly known as "allergy shots". Dr. Spingarn explained how the process has evolved. The skin-prick test which is used to obtain an allergy profile prevents the patient from taking any allergy medication for two weeks in order to obtain the profile. That test though available is no longer required. An allergy profile can be easily obtained through a blood test. After Dr. Spingarn received the results of Damon's bloodwork, Dr. Spingarn contacted me directly via email to discuss the options that were available to my son. I am extremely impressed by Dr. Aaron Spingarn and how he made himself so very available to me and my family. In a time when technology has replaced human interaction and patience, Dr. Aaron Spingarn and his approach is a breath of fresh air. We agreed immediately to go with immunotherapy injections for my son, Damon. I myself have dealt with allergies since becoming a teenager and throughout my adult life. Based on my experience with Dr. Aaron Spingarn, I'm abandoning the over the counter approach and resuming immunotherapy injections. Damon and I will be getting are immunotherapy injections together in the hopes of obtaining a "cure" or at the very least gaining maximized relief. I went to see him because he was recommended by the ER. What a disappointment! Not friendly, including the nurse in the room, emotionless and robot-like, especially after his authority was challenged by declining the condition he suggested. An threatening tone followed suggesting a potential surgical procedure is what it will take to identify my problem. Total waste of time! This man ripped me off. I went in for one issue, and at the end of the visit he asked if he could 'check something out' regarding a resolved issue. He stuck a tube down my nose, said, "Looks OK" (yeah, I know), and low and behold I'm billed for $700. I'm pretty confident that a $700 ($300 after insurance paid off this fraudulent jerk) bill is a bit steep to just 'check something out', particularly something not relevant... and especially since I have had this procedure done multiple times in the past (different doctors, same insurance) and NEVER received a bill like this. I know times are hard, and our system for insurance is a joke, but ripping off poor, suffering, unsuspecting patients is not a way to make ends meet. Thanks for the pain and suffering Dr. Spingarn. I made an appointment with Dr. Spingarn after hearing wonderful things about him from a co-worker. I was seen on time and found Dr. Spingarn to be a serious professional, attentive and knowledgable. He listened without interrupting or rushing me and it was obvious from his advice that he keeps up with current research.Gentle exam, effective treatment, and his billing staff worked with me and patiently answered any questions about coverage. Dr Spingarn is a joke, I'd stay away from his office. He charged me a 1000$ for 2 appointments and didn't really do anything. I'm still suffering from the same condition I've had before meeting this crook and spending a 1000 dollars. After collecting the money he never followed up and didn't really care to check if there's any progress or improvement. I'm writing this on behalf of my fiancé who was a onetime patient here last year. This review is regarding the office of the doctor not the doctor himself. People be warned. My fiancé was told the total bill he would owe the day he was at the office for his appointment which was $225. He then payed This payment THAT day. Weeks later he received a bill for the same amount but was addressed to the wrong person (his emergency contact)! He went to the office to clear this up. My fiancé spoke to the billing company and they said they would clear it up. He then continued to receive 3 more bills!! He was then forced to go to the office in person with proof of payment and the office manager ...and I wish I knew his name because he is completely incompetent....this guy said he would correct the problem. A month goes by and my fiancé received a debt collection notice! This office is borderline FRAUDULENT. Please people be warned. Do not go here. If we could give it O stars we would. read more

The doctor introduced himself and took the time to listen to my problem. I ended up getting scoped, and found it to be tolerable, although I would not say it was pleasant.
