Didn't hear from anyone for a long time and finally got a call about 4 weeks later after initial visit about with an echo appointment. Today got a call from another office worker ( week 5 ) telling my spouse around 8:30am if he had called to set up an appointment and much more. Both appointments an echo and follow up had been scheduled and the office staff person would have know that if there was inter office communication happening. I hope this is not a glimpse of things to come as my spouse was not at all impressed with the competence, professionalism and organization of this office. HMO BCBS Patient beware: This is an appendage of Brownwood Regional and just because the location is in network the physicians may not be in network and are allowed to bill astronomical fees. Besides bill was submitted as INPATIENT instead of REG/Outpatient.

I was a cardiac patient two weeks ago, after suffering a heart attack. The entire cath lab team and…read moremy cardiologist were at the hospital in 30 minutes (this was around 2:30am). The cath lab team gave me two stents and a temporary pacemaker that morning, and they gave me permanent pacemaker the next morning. Every single member of the cath lab team, my cardiologist, every single ICU nurse, and each 4W nurse I had were wonderful. They were all cheerful, empathetic, confident, reassuring, and sharp as a tack. I returned a couple weeks later for a final stent, and I received the same care again from the cath lab team, doctor, and day surgery/recovery nurses. I'll probably forget someone, but these cath lab folks were exemplary: Tim, Nate, Christopher, Lane, Chantelle, "Earl," and Lori. If I left anyone out, it's on me. They were ALL wonderful .

This is not the hospital site. This is for the outpatient building, leased to many different…read moreproviders. However, I recently received care at the hospital, and also by Dr. Wiley who is located at this address. Both were top notch. The staff were friendly at both places and compassionate. Full disclosure, I do work at the hospital, but when you have a medical emergency, you become the patient and no matter what you know, it is different and you are concerned about what is going on with you. I love this hospital and all it stands for. I know the staff and leaders care about this community and want to provide the very best. I definitely recommend them; so much so I'll be going back for another week or so. I trust them.

We moved to Texas 5 yrs ago…read more Dr Greene was referred to Us by our General Family Dr. I have annual check ups and testing for a basic file of my Health ... I was having some chest pain and fatigue , with mold light headed . I called for appt . Concerning these symptoms and was able to get appt in 2 work. Days ... I had test and discovered I had AFeb.. and was scheduled for more tests, labs, and medication .and one week followup .... I had lots of questions and received answers , I am somewhat anxious , but I believe Dr Greene is on Top of this health problem .... Best cardiologist in Central Texas. Dr Todd Gage!…read moreExceptional care! The office team is very efficient and very effective. They collect your payment upfront so that once you see the doctor you are free to go. Dr. Gage always comes in like he has all the time in the world. He reviews your cardiac system and open to the discussion for any potential issues that may be occurring. He does a comprehensive review of all medications and answers any questions. As busy as they are you wouldn't think that the atmosphere would be so relaxed, but it is! This time there was a discussion that ensued related to the cardiac stress test that Tom is due for per the American heart Association guidelines. When Dr. Gage found out that times negativity was related to the physical portion of the stress test he advised there is also a chemical stress test that can be taken. I was glad that he brought This option up as I think Tom will be able to see his way clear to having that. The med techs there are also spot on. The hubby has to get an EKG every six months that correlates with his follow up and the med techs there are very able and proficient. Probably sounds kind of funny to take a treat to the cardiology office but Tom has always drop Dan with round rock donuts for them and I suspect he will do that again this holiday season since I am not planning on baking this year. That's it for now. We highly recommend this cardiologist group and Dr. Gage in particular

I really thought that the dr. Cared about my health i feel that money became more important than…read morept. care. The nurse who worked for him quit because she couldn't get to her medical classes because of the hrs. When he gets a new nurse failure to communicate is why I couldn't get the medication i was due and needed, 8 days with no med caused seizures anxiety misery. Even though I took the time and trouble to work with the pharmacy to prove i was right about the due date and dose and quantity nothing helped and when I expressed my upset feelings he fired me as a pt. Its a shame that medical staff forgets to suit up with compation when they go to work. But it feels like they bring judgemental mindsets instead.
