I would strongly encourage anyone considering this office to be extremely careful when financing a procedure through CareCredit. I visited this office on June 12, 2026, for an Ultherapy consultation. The consultation itself was informative, but I explained that I needed to discuss the cost with my husband before making a decision. The staff suggested I apply for CareCredit so I could finance the procedure with six months of interest-free payments. They assisted me with the application using their iPad and helped me obtain a $3,000 credit line. I scheduled an appointment for the following week, but after discussing it with my husband, I called on June 15 to cancel. The office accepted my cancellation and even sent me a text confirming it. Almost two weeks later, I discovered that my CareCredit account had already been charged the full $3,000 on the day of the consultation, even though I never received the procedure. I was never told that my account had been charged, and I did not believe I had authorized a payment for a procedure that had not been performed. When I contacted the office, they refused to reverse the charge and told me that I had signed authorizing the transaction. My understanding was that I was signing documents related to the CareCredit application on their iPad, not authorizing an immediate $3,000 charge. Because of this dispute, CareCredit opened an investigation into the transaction. As a result, I lost access to my CareCredit funds and had to use another credit card to pay for a different medical expense. My experience has been extremely stressful and time-consuming. I recommend that anyone financing through this office carefully review every document before signing and request copies of everything immediately. read more

His bedside manner is incredible--he takes the time to really listen, answer every question thoroughly, and explain the process in detail. Beware of this doctor! I went to him several years ago for what was supposed to be breast scar revisions. I now have WORSE scarring. He butchered my breast and I have continued to live in pain and distress with the unacceptable scars I'm left with as a result of his lack of care and ineffective medical practice. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way by not doing my homework to review his credentials and reviews before selecting him for my surgery. I now realize that I really didn't need this surgery at all. Dr. Gray unethically took my money for an unnecessary procedure. Worst decision of my life. I've seen multiple physicians who have advised of all the bad news surrounding this guy and inappropriate practices of cosmetic surgery. I would rate him a zero if it was offered as a rating. I find it disheartening all the negative reviews about Dr Gray being a monster and insulting him saying he just wants money and doesn't care. I considered highly for my procedure from dr Gray and I ended up not using his services... even after NOT being a patient, he answered any questions I had, in depth. He genuinely cares. As I've seen him care and answer so many others even if they don't utilize his services. He is professional, intelligent and skilled at what he does! I've followed his work for over a year and amazed at his results. The few people for whatever reason didn't feel he met their expectation, in how he talks or makes them feel or whatever I don't think anyone can always meet our expectations but this man is dedicated at his skill! He is happy to help. And even when he heard my mom lost her job and needed antibiotics he called it in for her on two separate occasions. Again, not for what he could get from us but because he cares. He took time out of his busy schedule and from all PAYING clients to do something out of the kind nature of his heart because the God in him wanted to do good in such an unfair situation. His heart is genuine and likes to keep prices affordable as well for his patients. That is assured. I wanted to share this light. I know light dispels darkness and I pray God continues to use and bless this man and his family and I pray all continues to go favorably for him and patients in thto come. Update to my review. I've since used Dr Grays services and could not be more satisfied. They worked with me in making sure I had the procedure I wanted and got me in in a timely manner and did a fabulous job. I went in for a consultation, the girl behind the desk. Looked at my skin and did it right there. (I Should not have stuck around.) Ok, wanting something for my skin, I signed a 1000. Contract. THE NEXT DAY, After speaking with my husband, I called and said I'd like my money back. Girl at the desk said she would call me back. I then called my charge company and told them. They said no problem. Didnt want the fight so I called Skin Deep back and talked with them, made my 1st appointment. NOVEMBER 12. The day before the appointment, I called for information and a question about the procedure and they said they erased my appointment. ( due to dispute) I needed to call the charge card company, and I'd have to make another appointment! I called my credit Card- company and told them to stop the dispute, I would partake in the Spas service. And they would send a letter 3 days later. Sent Skin Deep the letter. Appointment #2 NOV 27 was made for 2 weeks later. Unfortunately THAT ONE WAS ALSO ERASED with out me knowing. I sent them the letter again from Discover Card stating dispute was over. (They ungraciously would not take my word!) Appointment # 3 Dec.17. Over a month later, I once again called, as I was told to do told to do last week when the doctor was in, (about pain meds.) Once again, was told the appointment was erased. Once Again I sent them the same letter from Discover for their records. Whenever I call to ask questions about my appointment, we talk. And everything is fine. When I'm to Have the procedure, they do not want to give it. THEY HAVE MY 1000.00. If I could give one star I would. Stay clear of this place!! Staff is horrible and not knowledgable, and Dr. Gray is either not interested, or not aware of how bad his staff and practice are run. In addition, it is my understanding from the people I talked to that he is NOT a board certified plastic surgeon and does NOT have hospital privileges if something goes wrong. Better confirm this if you go here. Let me explain with facts what happened to me: 1) Went for a consultation on a redo to remove a bump from my leg 2) After the consultation, Margo came to the room while I was standing up to leave with papers to sign and full payment requested. I signed the papers and did not read all the fine print-my fault. She did not explain any cancellation policy, while taking my credit card. Unfortunately one of the 3 pages she put in front of me was if you cancel, you will be charged. To be clear, this is a 15 minute procedure, that "they were fitting me in for" and was not a big deal. 3) After learning he was not board certified, and talking to a few people that told me how horrible and inexperienced the staff was, I decided to cancel and go somewhere else. 4) I called to cancel the appointment on April 5th, which was more than 3 weeks from the scheduled appointment on April 27th. The woman on the phone said I was going to be charged 50% of the cost! I said I did not know the policy, and she said I signed a paper and basically too bad. I asked her to send the papers since they did not give me a copy of anything when I left the office. 5) She sent a copy of the papers and one paper said that if you cancel "a 25% fee of your entire surgery cost will result if 3 weeks prior to surgery; 50% if within 3 weeks; 100% if less than 48 hours". I called the office after reading this and left a message saying that I cancelled more than 3 weeks prior so why is it 50%, it should be 25%? I then followed up with an email in writing of the day I was cancelling and quoting their own policy. Now they sent an email back saying I was right and they would charge 25%, which I thought was BS considering what I had experienced, but I just wanted to get away from this place. The fact they don't know their own policy was interesting. 6) Next I phoned and said credit my account the 75% and let's move on. They replied, we can't until "Chanel returns on Friday" since she is the only one in the entire office that can process a refund! OK...so I wait 4 days until Friday and no one calls. I call the office on the afternoon of Friday, April 9 and ask for Chanel. No she decided to stay off another day, and will return Monday and will handle this on Monday. OK...so Monday, April 12 comes and Chanel finally calls at 10:00am and I explain what happened. She says, I don't handle this, you need to talk to Barbara!! I can't make this stuff up. So...she transfers me to "Barbara" who I again explain everything to. She says, the policy is the policy and you are being charged 25%. I say fine--I want to get this over with and never see this place again. Then..Barbara says "you really should have been charged 50%". What!!!! I said are you kidding me, I cancelled according to your policy more than 3 weeks out and based on what I experienced I should get a full refund! Then she went quiet realizing she misquoted the policy. Unbelievable. She credited my account the 75%. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before going here. This place has the worst customer service and the staff is totally clueless. I would caution others to check out other places, do your homework, read reviews, listen to others who have been here. I hope this detailed review helps others. There are so many good plastic surgeons in Michigan, but this is not one of them. read more

My sister came to this facility to get services and almost lost her life in the process. She had a panniculectomy with abdominoplasty, lipo to her bilateral arms, and fat transfer to her buttock. She was sent back to the hotel the same day which was fine. Over a 24 hour period, she started to have pain during urination but with a dribble of urine and not a free following stream. She complained of difficulty breathing and ultimately made the decision to go to the ER. Thank God she did. Upon arrival, she informed the staff of her symptoms and they actually had to place a catheter to get a urine specimen. When obtaining the urine, urine appeared black, muddy, and foul odor. They immediately rushed her to the OR after finding out she had compartment syndrome. When speaking to Dr. Gray as I live in California with no way to help my sister, all he was thinking about is his work and how fantastic she looked when speaking to him. He felt that the ED MD at Beaumont Hospital was "jumping the gun". After she was out of surgery, I spoke to the plastic surgeon at the hospital and they told me that it was good that she came when she did because it would not have been a great turn out. It was stated that her abdominal muscles were stitched too tight that it stopped circulation to her kidneys. After the release of the stitches in the OR, she had a free flow of urine. Her creatinine level upon arrival was 4.9. She was entering acute renal failure. My sister was in ICU for 2 days, NGTube in her nostril with an ileus. She had 2 blood transfusions. Praise God for the MDs and Staff members of Beaumont-Farmington hospital in Michigan. They saved her life. Ladies and Gents, You are beautiful how you are. If you want plastic surgery, please do your research on these physicians. My sister while there only heard from this doctor via text and maybe one phone call. He stated that he tried to visit but they wouldn't let him in because of COVID-19. This could possibly be true, so I will give him the benefit of doubt. He did communicate with her daughter while she was in town. However, after she left, text-only with my sister. My sister is en route home after this horrific encounter with this MD. She is blessed to be alive, however every traumatized by the events she encountered. Do not, I mean do not spend your money with this MD. You may not be so blessed as my sister. read more

Dr. Michael Gray and all the staff here are just wonderful, from consultation to surgery day my questions were answered, had an issue with pain management and an I'll reaction and they did everything they could on such short notice to get me switched to a more suitable medication. Recovery so far has been flawless minimal pain, mostly just a tight feeling. Terrible! I ordered Thera scar from him for 74.99 however all I received was a envelope with 2 brochures. I contacted his office and him directly, informed them what I received, I spoke with Barbara she stated it was nothing they could do to help. I called the dr directly he stated it was mailed, and there was nothing he could do to help either...then also said he doesn't understand my frustration, it's not his fault if someone stole my items from the post office. Just think if he is willing to fuck over me for 74.99, I definitely wouldn't trust him with my life....he is a scam artist! DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN!!! I had my surgery 9/11 and 100% regret it. A week after my surgery I was admitted into the hospital because I had 3 infections. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks fighting for my life. The hospital put 5 drains in my body and told me every place he inserted his instruments he infected you. They also told me he is not certified to perform the surgeries he's doing. I paid for a quality service and got a botched job. I do not recommend him at all. Dr. Gray's office and Skin Deep Spa They are amazing. Very knowledgeable and helps to keep my skin in great shape. I've been going there for a few years now and am pleased with their expertise not only products but what's happening with the current trends. I've learned a lot from ALL the LADIES that work there in the Spa. I'm glad they are offering lots of great specials also and if you can, you should check them out. The Clear and Brilliant is great and the microdermabrasion treatments are too. My skin feels very soft after I've had a treatment. I like that there is no downtime with those procedures. I also tried the Blue Light Therapy and if you suffer from acne, it really does clear your face. You won't be sorry. The office is top notch and you know you will be taken care of well. I have finally learned like the other reviewer said, not to waste money on department store and over the counter products. They are not the same as medical grade. I think every one says this but.... THIS MAN IS NOT PLASIC SURGERY BOARD CERTIFIED!!!! A little bit about who "Dr" Gray is... He was an ER trauma Doctor. He has no experience with plastic surgery, other than the women he traumatizes with his malpractice. The women that get surgeries done by this man are literally his lab rats. So his "amazing no scar awesome way to heal quick easy and fast" through the belly button breast implant surgery is a complete JOKE. He doesn't tell you about the two people he almost killed while doing this surgery. He punctured their organs while in the operating room. ONCE AGAIN NOT MICHIGAN PLASTIC SURGERY CERTIFICATED. No one in Michigan would ever give this man the time of day to certify him. How do I know about him? Well I went to his consultation, which is with like ten other people that make an appointment for a consultation that day, you also wait one to two hours to even start this consultation. So he starts talking and it's about 45 minutes of him rambling on about how he knows it ALL. First of all one of the biggest jokes he says is that your breasts will Not "drop".... hahahaha yes in fact they do. I am three months post op today as a matter of fact and they are about three inches lower than after surgery. Mind you they do swell up a bit. But the whole drop into the pouch the doctor creates under your muscle is a FACT!!!!! Do not let this man tell you that you need a mastopexy either, he told my 21 year old flat chested body that I would need this surgery done. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT I GOT DONE AND LET ME TELL YOU MY FULL C CUP BREASTS ARE PERFECT. I was a negative A. Let's just say I had some pretty nice pecs. But anyways my second surgery is scheduled for about six months from now and I'll be at a good full D cup. "Dr"Gray told me I'd need about 4-6 surgeries to be where I wanted to be. With that crazy T shaped scarring and moving my nipple up my breast. Also he was only going to start my implant at the smallest implant about 75cc or something around there. It terrified me. I hated my body because of him. I just wanted bigger breasts. And he made me never want to get this surgery done ever. I cried my eyes out for about a week every time I thought about what he said to me. So about a year later and my pecs are now perfectly placed, perfectly full and look absolutely amazing!!!!! You want bigger beautiful breasts (Dr. Blake in Clinic of Cosmetology, out of Glendale Wisconsin) I know you are thinking Wisconsin really but I promise you the seven hour drive WILL BE NOTHING BUT WORTH IT!!!!!! read more

I received a quote from the technician #1 at Mich Cosmetic Surgery Center, aka "Skin Deep Spa". She was very nice and quoted me $500.00 to take care of some stretch marks on different parts of my body. When technician #1 saw my the marks she said she could barely see the stretch marks and the treatment she wanted to use would take care of it no problem. While the surface area was a lot, she quoted me $500 only because she thought since she "could barely see the stretch marks" it was going to be super easy and simple to take care of and thus not a lot of work & sessions. Tech #1 quoted me $500 for 4 sessions of treatments. I received a call from a different technician #2 who said he would be taking care of me for my 2nd session. I asked why the tech is different and he stated that tech #1 is no longer working for this company. I went to the 2nd appt & arrived on time to find out that office personnel didn't call me to tell me they are running late and so this 2nd appt ran into my dentist appt whereby I was charged a missing appt fee. Tech #2 apologized and was very eager & aggressive with the treatment that tech #1 recommended and was appalled at some of the things tech #1 had done/recommended. He talked a lot (while not working- couldn't talk & work at the same time??) and one of the reasons why I missed my dentist appt. A week or so prior to session #3 I had seen no results. While both technicians assured me that it would not be noticeable right away, I was satisfied in knowing there would eventually be a noticeable change. Around this time I received a call from the receptionist that I would either have to reschedule my already scheduled appt or go with a different technician as tech #2 was going on vacation at that time. I told them that I had made this appt and scheduled time off work so keep the appt & go with a diff tech. So this brings me to experience yet a different technician (#3) for my 3rd session. She was really nice but told me that the process that was being applied to me would take much more than 4 sessions to see any noticeable results! So she proceeded to recommend something else in order to take care of the initial problem I had gone in to take care of (to later find out that these recommendations for treatments would cost me a ton more). I said no, I want to wait to see what the current/initial treatment will do since I'm not done with that. She proceeded with persistency that the current treatment wouldn't in no way be effective in 4 sessions and would need to be a ton more. So again she pushed for a different treatment (that I would have to pay for) before this one was even completed. Going into my last & final session they set me up with yet a different technician (tech #4). She was very nice and insisted there should never have been a change in technician with these treatments. Yet all four sessions I had 4 different technicians. She was similar to technician #3 in that she was very persistent in trying to sell me a different treatment, other than the continuing the treatment. The treatment she quoted me was over $2000 and said the office manager would give me a credit of $500.00 towards this treatment. So the logic being throw away $500.00 in ineffective treatments to spend $2000? No thank you (I said). She was persistent and was nice enough to call me a week or two later after going over this with the office manager and this is the only solution they could come up with. Rather than the office manager telling me at the 2nd session when tech #2 brought her in to talk of a few problems he had with tech #1 (who no longer worked there) is when the office manager should have said the treatment was ineffective at the 4 sessions that were quoted to me and **should have asked me** A) do you want your money back? B) we can charge you for the one session and offer you something else that IS effective and etc. Nothing was done to compensate me for the wasted time and money. It appears I was misled and there was no effort by the management to correct the problem other than to upsell a product. Yea, was very dissatisfied with the results received from my skin treatments here. So as far as all of the normal things go like staff being friendly, place being clean, well organized. That's all there, but thats more or less expected of any place of business. Bottom line is cosmetic stuff costs money and you expect a certain result. I would like to say the only thing this review system did for me was screw up my mind post-op. I saw Dr. Gray for consultations on two different occasions. The first time he recommended lipo in my stomach and flanks prior to having a Tummy tuck. I left there and went back to working out hard and continued trying lose additional fat in both areas to achieve the best results as possible. When I went back a 15 months later his recommendation changed. He said at that time I wouldn't need lipo in my stomach area but would still recommend lipo in the flanks. He said by performing lipo in my stomach area he would be "taking my money"....His price went down $2100.00 from the first consultation. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and his staff especially Viola (sorry if I screwed the name up). He provided me two options, Tummy Tuck or Mini Tuck after I lost over 100 pounds of weight. Ultimately, I asked him "What do you recommend"? He gave me the pros and cons for both but I went with his recommendation of a full Tummy Tuck and muscle repair. Needless to say I'm extremely happy with my results. I'm only 3 weeks post op and everyday things are looking better and better. I believe he has the eye and an artistic hand to perform these surgeries. If I was reviewing these and going through this processes again, I would recommend three things. 1) Put in the work and get to your best prior to surgery. This will let you achieve the best results. 2) Go with your intuition after your consultation with your Dr (I'm glad I did with Dr Gray). 3) Do exactly what the Dr says. read more

SHAME ON YOU DR. GREY!!! Several years ago I had the no scar breast implant through the belly button surgery however the quick, easy, heal fast was not the case. Once complication after another! After I had breast implant surgery with Dr. Michael Grey, one of my breast permanently capsular contracture; it feels like a rock! The day after Dr. Grey performed multiple surgeries he WENT on a week vacation with NO ONE on call for HELP. My breast has felt like a rock for years now because of this capsular outcome. When he returned, one week later, I went for my post-consultation, to find out that it is too late to reverse the permanent capsular contracture. I found out the hard way that the only way to stop or reverse the capsular contracture is to take action immediately within 24-48 hours. I did call the office & his emergency cell immediately however the nice office gals were not equipped to help me Everyone says & acts like he's a plastic surgeon but he is NOT a plastic surgeon. To make matters even worse, my reflection from this day of the surgery should have been an indication: I was released with no ice or anything to comfort my surgery. The day after he performed multiple surgeries, Dr. GREY should not have went OUT OF TOWN with NO ONE TO HELP YOU, Even worse his office "claims" that he went out of country on a family vacation for 7 days and he has NO collaborating doctor to help you. How would you feel if your surgeon did this to you? I am very disappointed with the entire experience. I would never recommend Mr. Grey to anyone. I'm scheduled to have the rock implant removed in December by a U of M surgeon who won't leave me in the dust the day after surgery. read more

Love this place! Luxurious decor, very informed staff. I enjoy my regular facial with Angela, she is AWESOME. Thanks to her, my skin is looking amazing. She always has some helpful info in the skin care department, despite my vast knowledge. She is very friendly and comes off as 100% genuine and down to earth. Every time I have been in, she offers me a discount on a new service in the event I want to try it. I never feel pressured to purchase services or products, although I usually want to. They have some great skincare lines here, all medical grade. This means that instead of wasting $150 on a jar of useless cream at the mall, you will get a product that delivers results. Thank you Skin Deep, and Angela for curing me of the constant breakouts, and my fine lines! I highly reccomend this spa to anyone who is tired of searching for the answer to their skin care issues. After months of research, I decided Dr Gray would be the ideal surgeon to perform my breast implant revision, as his work appears to be top notch. Unfortunately, his front desk staff leaves something to be desired. I obtained a babysitter, drove 45 minutes to Dr Gray's office, and waited over an hour for my consultation. When I approached the desk to see how much longer I'd be waiting, they informed me that the consultation appointment is 2.5 hrs long. First, that's ridiculous. Second, it would have been nice if someone told me this piece of information when scheduling. They asked me to reschedule, but at that point I was not interested. This is by far THE WORST company I have ever worked with, and would have given zero stars if possible. I put down a $2K deposit back in August to have a cosmetic procedure done, verifying that it was fully refundable because like most of us, that is a lot of money for me, especially during a pandemic. In November 2020, I was diagnosed with with an auto immune disease after spending two weeks in the hospital. When I first put the deposit down, I was told I would receive it IN FULL if I chose to cancel the procedure. I called the office to cancel as I no longer felt comfortable having the procedure. I was told that at my consult, I signed away my deposit, and could no longer get it back since I had set an actual date. The office manager told me that if I had a doctor's note explaining my condition, that I would most likely get the deposit back. My GI doctor sent a note, verifying my condition and expressing that he does not approve any surgeries now or moving forward since my immune system has been compromised and I am much more susceptible to infections. The office never responded to phone messages over the course of two weeks. I was finally able to get ahold of the office manager and was told that they would not give me back my deposit because "the doctor also has this condition and he is fine". Guess what? The doctor isn't having the procedure done. I am beyond frustrated and upset that a medical professional is denying the recommendation of another medical professional. My advice? DO NOT use the services of this company - they are parasites, only concerned about money. read more

I have had such a WONDERFUL experience so far with my breast augmentation. I've had a lift and implants and am 5 days post op. I've never left a yelp review before but feel compelled due to seeing negative reviews on Dr. Gray. He is very knowledgeable, professional, comfortable, and his expertise in his field is clear when meeting him. He is very very skilled in his craft. I did a lot of research in the area prior to choosing a surgeon, and even extra due to my line of work. I would recommened him to anyone, I am so pleased with my experience from consultation, scheduling, his staff, pre op, post op, and follow up. I had a breast lift, remove and replace implants and tummy tuck. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Gray!! My boobs are not lifted good, which they basically blamed on my age(I'm 36) my nipples are uneven and he I look like I don't have a belly button. These are just a few of my complaints!! I spent $14,000 and I'm am not happy at all. I did try to express my concerns and they completely disregarded them, once he gets your money he doesn't care about you or your feelings what so ever!! There are maybe 2 compassionate people on Dr. Michael Gray's staff, including himself. I had an awful, traumatizing experience and the result is very hard for me to look at (breast lift and implants). It is over 6 months out and I have horrible scarring (one incision very visible in my cleavage), misshapen breasts and nipples that look like someone sewed them on. Really awful. When I consistently brought up my concerns, I was treated as if I was delusional. Horrible staff. Please don't trust your surgery to this doctor. read more

All Dr. Michael Gray cares about is MONEY - QUANTITY over quality. 1) Michael Gray is NOT Board Certified 2) HE IS NOT A GYNECOLOGIST (for my case) Choosing him to do my labiaplasty was the worst mistake of my life!! He gave me a very cheap price, 3 times less than what experienced doctors gave me and what my insurance was covering if I did it with my gynecologist so I fell for it. Labiaplasty is a very hard surgery to have, you need time off from work, you need people around to help you for the first week/two and you can't walk normal till the 4/5th week, 6 weeks in recovery-basically you are wasting month and a half of your life for this surgery. Michael Gray did not even look at me to tell me exactly what he was going to do during the consultation, I mean don't sign up for a surgery saying all this crap on your website if you are not comfortable to look at the area and mark exactly what you are going to do like real gynecologist do! He only said "I don't need to look at the area because I know what to do everybody is the same". That was a sign that he has no idea what he is doing and no women is the same down there!! Since I was struggling with money at the time and I was in a rush because I had a couple of days off from work I decided to have the surgery. I had a surgery in Nov 2013 and that's when my life turned into a nightmare. I got what I paid for! He did not cut the labia even and he left me with a hole on my left labia. I wish this surgery was not embarrassing to me otherwise I would've sue him!! 6 weeks after the surgery I went for a consultation....HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT ME!!! He does not care about his patients! You are just another number for Dr. Michael Gray so he can claim that he has experience. Why do you think he does so much advertising on the radio and on the web? You can't even google one surgical procedure without him showing up on the top. Year and 3 months later, and 3 surgeries after, my left labia is finally attached together (feel free to email me if you want info of the doctor who was able to fix the mess that dr.michael gray left me with) and I'm so happy that I can have a normal life again! It was the worst year and 3 months of my life, I wasted my time and money, I wasted year and 3 months of my life on this! I was turned down by doctors because they all feared of amputation of my labia i was told that it's impossible to fix what dr Michael gray did to me. I completely lost hope. After my 3rd surgery god worked a miracle for me. That's why I'm writing this review! If I help at least one person not to make the same mistake as many of us have I will be happy! P.S.
