He's incredibly patient, intelligent and does a wonderful job of explaining what is going on. I can't say enough good things about Stuart! I saw Stuart at the North Rebound Physical Therapy location.

I've been going regularly to this location for two reasons: acupuncture and physical therapy…read more I have been seeing Colby Hartsell for acupuncture for a shoulder-related injury. My healthcare insurance does not cover acupuncture so I pay the street rate (which I consider to be reasonable). Colby is a skilled and nuanced practitioner, and got my shoulder back in working order quickly (in combination with physical therapy). Side note for Yelp readers who might be skeptical about acupuncture: my physical therapist, Scot Ruby at St Charles, was able to tell whether I had recently had treatment from Colby. He was able to see significantly-improved shoulder mobilization and looseness each time that my PT session followed an acupuncture treatment. It is clear that the combination of acupuncture and physical therapy made for my speedy recovery. I also have been along for the journey for physical therapy. Meg Starr is the lead PT for this hip-related case. Meg is a highly-skilled and emotionally intuitive practitioner. She has been executing a treatment program that balances the needs of multiple combined (and occasionally conflicting) conditions at the same time. Controlled studies show that patient outcomes are positively-correlated with a clinician's bedside manner, I.e. The warmer the clinician, the better the outcome. I am convinced that Meg's empathetic-yet-crisp professionalism is making a huge and positive impact on the recovery rate for this case. The overall vibe for all staff at this location is comfortable, compassionate, and fun. Clearly, the management team for this location has hired extremely-well and is cultivating a culture that puts the patient's wellbeing first. I would strongly recommend this clinic without reservation!

Trauma…read morehas ruled my life and contributes to increasing my pain levels, this was impossible to see without Allison's weekly guidance. I have been her client a year and a half my conditions are degenerating & progressive with layers of complicated co-conditions. I hope to keep going to Healing Bridges as long as possible as PT will be life-long. Her calming and grounding technique along with Feldenkrais treatment is exactly what my body needed for constant dislocations from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Allison has the ability to heal and validate pain at a level I never experienced. THANK YOU!

Allison is a lifesaver! She is the best physical therapist I have ever had! I have been suffering…read morefrom chronic back pain for years, even after having a surgical fusion. Then I had an accident 4 years ago that shattered my kneecap and the surgeons were unable to save it, so they just sewed the tendons from above and below the knee together. This causes instability in the knee and if I bend it too far, it will buckle and I will fall. I have been to many different physical therapists since that time, but all of the exercises they gave me caused more pain in my back. Allison is the first PT that has found gentle exercises to strengthen the muscles around my knee and in my leg that don't aggravate my back. She is very knowledgeable, slow and gentle in her approach and truly cares about her patients. The Feldenkrais exercises and meditations have helped the pain in my back and are teaching me how to move my body in different ways that support better structural functioning, and thus decreased pain. She is also well versed in "Pain Reprocessing Therapy" for chronic pain, which retrains the brain to react to pain signals properly, and eventually eliminates the chronic pain. I highly recommend Allison to anyone suffering from an injury and/or chronic pain.

He's amazing, full stop: attentive, knowledgeable about many aspects of PT, and a high-level athlete himself. As a life-long outdoor sports lover, I've banged myself up a fair amount and done a LOT of PT to stay tuned up. Glenn has shown himself to be on of the best professionals I've seen. Beyond the in-person care, he also shows real care and concern, asking questions of other professionals unsolicited and sharing the feedback. My hip is feeling back to normal and I'm back at my activities now. Not just that, he managed to fix an old whiplash neck injury with a few minutes of assessment and simple exercises, which 2 other PTs hadn't been able to resolve! Beyond that, the other employees (front desk staff and PTs) obviously enjoy working at Step and Spine. They're friendly, laugh a lot, and create a fun environment vs. "this is a place where people are injured." Can't recommend Glenn and Step and Spine enough!
