The doctor was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions, took his time during the consultation, never rushed, and always had a smile. Samantha, the MA who did my allergy test, was also very nice. She explained everything in detail. However, the front desk lacked customer service. When I arrived, I stood in front of three staff members, but no one greeted me or asked how they could help. They simply handed me paperwork, assuming I was a new patient without even asking. The front desk staff could benefit from spending more time with the doctor and the assistants in the back to catch some of their positive energy. Despite this, I still give this office five stars because of Samantha and Dr. Mosher. read more

This is the most caring and smart doctor that I have ever seen and it was for my son. Last year my son had an untreated sinus infection for four months plus on set asthma when sick. Dr. Mosher and his wonderful nurses and team are so accommodating and they have been more than helpful every time we need them. They worked with my insurance and prescription problems and they actually care about my sons treatment and my sanity (I didn't sleep for a few weeks while my son was sick last year). They ran allergy tests and other tests before determining my sons treatment. thank you so much to the front desk and Dr. Mosher. I am forever grateful for them. read more

Although I typically feel anxious at doctor visits, my appointments with Dr. Michael Mosher are the opposite of worrying. For the past several years I have seen Dr. Mosher to manage my allergies. Sometimes my visits involve routine seasonal allergy testing. Other times my visits are more worrisome, as with testing I needed to understand concerning reactions I had experienced from medications. In every appointment Dr. Mosher takes the time to really listen, he will test and re-test to rule out all possibilities for potential problems, and he cares, as evidenced by making sure I understand how to move forward and manage my allergies before I leave. The office staff is always lovely to speak with, and I feel they are happy to help me with my questions. Dr. Mosher is a wonderful doctor and allergist who I highly recommend! read more

had a 2:30 appointment, i arrived in time and on time. after waiting 30 minutes in a small procedure room to be seen by dr. mosher, i left. bumped into him on the way out and advised me he'd be with me shortly and tried to direct me to a bathroom. he and his office have no respect for a patient's time. i guess after a 30 minute wait, i became im-patient. it was probably business as usual for that sloppy office. whose going to re-imburse me for my time? had to choose a star to post this encounter, but zero is my first choice. read more

Poor office procedures. Poor communication. Doesnt follow plan of care. And then, he is defensive when it turned out his office dropped the ball. See, when you are a patient and point out a mistake, a doctor shouldnt try to make it your fault and then when that doesnt work, apologize , and say you are being rude. Nope, just making sure that you got it, since u didnt get it the first 2 times I said it... and then you said "someone had to tell me when the paperwork came in". Yup, and that someone isnt me, it is the people who work for you. So when I said that hopefully now you can set a procedure so it doesnt happen to someone else, that is not being rude. Dr. Mosher is an excellent, kind doctor. He really takes his time with you, listens to your concerns, and he certainly knows what he's talking about. The office staff is great as well. I visited him in the Simi Valley office and everything was super clean. Between both offices, they seem pretty accommodating if you can only come in certain day(s) of the week too. read more

I had been coughing for over a month and up most of the night because of the annoying cough. My chest X-ray is normal, negative in Covid and flu. I went to see Dr Mosher and he's spot on of what's causing my cough. He's a caring doctor and highly recommended. read more

I decided to switch to an Allergist that was not an hour away from me as well as getting in would be much easier. I love going to Yelp and reading real people's opinions and experiences. I had walked by Dr. Mosher's office a few times passing it in the hallway. So I had my first appointment a week ago, it was great. I had to fill out some paperwork then I went back to a room. Dr. Mosher was friendly and great. We talked about the allergies that I already knew about and some new concerns. I needed to have some allergy medicine refilled and because it's a needle. He was able to get me some new ones and threw the old ones away for me. I am very happy with coming here and this is now my new allergist. Thank you, Dr. Mosher and staff. read more

Referred to Dr Mosher for patch testing following a bout with alleged contact dermatitis. My skin was pretty much cleared at this point, but it took me about a month to get in so I curiously and naively decided to see just what I was allergic to. Went back a couple more time as I reacted to 5 allergens, and was told only about 3% of patients react to anything. I felt so special. I also felt very itchy again. Sure enough, my prior issues reemerged in all the same places. This is rare, but so is having a positive reaction in the first place. I'd read up on it as it seemed so obvious what had occurred. He kinda scoffed at my analysis saying he'd never seen it. Which apparently makes it unimaginable. Questioned dermatologists diagnosis, and sent me for a blood panel. Told to come back for results.....in TWO WEEKS. At this point I'm convinced I'm dying, have no quality of life, and am covered head to toe in 80-90 degree weather so I'm not stared at and don't gross myself out. Oh, and lab told me they'd have my results in TWO DAYS. Hmmmm. Sit and wait. Scratch, cry and wait. Apparently I was just supposed to grin and bare a rash multiplying daily until they wanted me once again to leave my job for a morning appointment as "afternoons are just swamped".....swamped for more important clients? After crying my way through yet another weekend I finally called a new dermatologist out of sheer desperation. Oh, and they got me in the same day AFTER my work hours. Third time is apparently the charm. After months of this I am finally getting some relief. Read on about my journey with Conejo Dermatology..... Dr Mosher is a nice man, nothing against him personally. They did cancel an appointment AS I was driving to it after I'd inconveniently left work. Staff was a little gossipy behind the desk, we could all hear them. Afternoons seem to be reserved for kids after school. Seemed surprised any ladies in the area work and not just lunch. After 2.5 years of faithfully accompanying wifey to Dr Michael Mosher's office every month and witnessing the positive progress of her health due to those allergy shots, I can say that Mosher and his staff are dedicated to helping people sneezing and crying their way through Coñejo Valley and beyond. Wifey was diagnosed with 5 serious allergies three years ago, now testing negative for 3 of them - only two left after Mosher retested her! He's been very honest and upfront about the last two - says she may never truly be rid of them - but at least she is improving! The ladies working for him are very kind, patient and caring. I had had a bad hives rash on my entire face/body before I had a visit with Dr. Mosher. After I told him about my allergy and answered all his questions, he was able to diagnose what actually caused my problem. Dr. Mosher is very knowledgeable and takes his time with you to truly figure out what may be causing your allergies. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is dealing with allergy problems as he is super friendly and listens to what you have to say. He is the best allergist specialist!!! read more

BEWARE. Do not go here period. If you still plan on coming after reading my review, I would suggest you know exactly how much you're going to be billed prior to coming in. I am so thankful I canceled my second appointment that the doctor insisted I come back for. Extremely unethical business practice to not mention a new patient fee of $180. This is in regards to my visit at the Simi location back in June. I got an allergy test to see if I could help ease my eczema by finding out what I was allergic to. I found out I was allergic to no foods but to animals and nature-- trees, pollen, etc. so at least I got a little something out of it. Anyways, I recently received my bill in the mail for just under $500 (after insurance= new patient fee- $180 + actual allergy test- around $413!!!). During my appointment, Dr. Mosher was late for over 30 minutes. It's not like he was with other patients either, he wasn't even there but whatever. Considering I was treated for nothing else and I was billed that amount is ridiculous. I called their billing department to see if they could do anything to help me out since I'm struggling with money right now and that I was never told that there would be a new patient fee.. let alone one that would cost $180. The representative's response was to offer monthly payments. I had to reiterate myself that they never mentioned a new patient fee and that one of the girls I spoke to before mentioned as long as I'm in network I'm fine to come in. If I had known this entire service would cost what it did, why in the world would I still go? The rep. got extremely combative and her response was, "I doubt anyone would tell you that. $180 is actually the lowest new patient fee we charge. It actually goes up $200 to $300. Did you expect it to be free? Anywhere you go will charge you a new patient fee". First of all, I didn't know there would be a new patient fee because it was never mentioned. If there was, I wouldn't have expected it to be $180. Compassion, empathy, and transparency here is nonexistent. Please save yourself the stress and money; go elsewhere. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Mosher! Not only is he obviously very knowledgeable and highly educated, he is incredibly compassionate and caring. I have had eczema for as long as I can remember... 30+ years. I've seen countless doctors and dermatologists and none have been able to provide me relief or any answers. I saw Dr. Mosher after hearing nothing but good about his practice. During my first visit, he did a scratch test (which no other doctor had done before), ordered blood work (again, no one else had done) and scheduled me for a patch test. He gave me a new medicine to try and said that we would figure it out together what was causing me such misery. For the first time ever, I left a doctor's appointment for my eczema feeling optimistic. Doctors have always told me it's something that I just have to live with and manage. The front office was very warm and inviting; I felt like I was an important patient and not just another name in the book. When I was taken back to the room and examined by the nurse and Dr. Mosher, I was given such concentrated attention. I am repeatedly impressed with the amount of care the entire staff puts into each visit. Dr. Mosher is putting in more effort and care than all the other specialists combined that I've seen for my eczema. I look forward to continuing my journey with Dr. Mosher to fight this horrible condition. Wonderful physician. He does not rush. He answers all questions thoroughly. He is very nice and knowledgeable. I was evaluated and tested for allergies. I am now set to receive weekly in injections. He initially gave me a non-injection option (pills and a spray). I tried them and received a good amount of relief, but ultimately I elected to go down the allergy shot road. It was a 'shot' in the dark choosing him, as I had no referrals for an allergist. But I lucked out with Dr. Mosher. I highly recommend. read more

I'm surprised to see a negative review. I'm new to the area and I've suffered from allergies and chronic sinusitis my whole life. No one ever suggested allergy shots and I even asked. So instead it was Claritin D and Zyrtec and constantly on antibiotic and missing work bc of sinus issues from all the tree allergies I have. Since I started shots I can breath for the first time in as long as I can remember and my chronic sinusitis is gone. read more

Dr. Mosher has truly helped me with allergy and asthma problems. He was recommended to me by my internist. I had been having a difficult time with inhalers and the medication. My dermatologist tried many options to clear my swollen, flaky eyelids. After attempting many medications she said it must be an allergy and sent me to Dr. Mosher. He tested me and discovered why I was suffering for years in one visit! My eyes cleared up as soon as I got rid of my nail polish (methyl acrylate). He spent a long time discussing my issues before he had me tested. I came back for follow up and would recommend this wonderful doctor for anyone seeking help with allergy issues. read more
