Dr Greenberg is very thorough & detail oriented. He takes the time to be personable with my children and myself. He always shakes our hands and asks how we're doing & asks them about school. He seems to genuinely care and never makes us feel rushed. He is very knowledgeable and I feel very comfortable in his recommendations for my kids who have asthma & allergies. I also love his office staff, especially Jeanette. She always follows up in returning my phone calls and gets any authorizations we need right when it's needed, even when I've allowed them to expire and she has to resubmit them. They don't have the Covid 19 vaccine boosters here and I was told won't ever. That doesn't make sense given that the office was administering the Covid-19 vaccines in 2021. My twins are 6 years old and have been coming to practice in Tarzana and Agoura Hills since they were born and got all their vaccines here plus had well child check ups. My last 2 doctors were great but unfortunately both left the practice and now we only get appointments with the nurse when we do have appointments. I'm done tracking my kids since we don't get the care or attention I feel our kids should be getting. Especially when they don't even expect to get such a vital Covid-19 Vaccine booster for kids during a pandemic! read more

My son has had chronic bad itchy bumpy skin, a sniffly nose and red eyes. He has been sniffling for years. He even has a crease in his nose from constantly pushing his nose up. Even his teacher complained that he sniffles all the time. I couldn't stand it anymore so I took him to Dr. Greenberg -- I was willing to get whatever shots he needed to stop the sniffling. The office gave him a long battery of tests. They had 4 boards with like 12 needs each on them that they put on his back -- which he hated and cried a little. Then they wait to see which inflamed to test what he was allergic to. Then he had several breathing tests. I was amazed at how much testing they did!! But it felt good that he wasn't just looking at him and giving him a quick diagnosis. The doctor came in and told us just the parents needed to come back for a full breakdown of the test results but from what he saw, our son needed to stop eating yeast and corn. Also use a daily Flonase. So...we did this for about 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks, my son's itchy skin, eczema (or what I thought was eczema but was really an allergic reaction) and sniffling was GONE! It was amazing. I was thrilled. When we went back to the doctor, he gave us a full analysis with recommendations and NEVER pushed allergy shots. He didn't push any prescription medications. He said they were completely optional because my son's lungs were functioning low but not horrible. Overall, I was very pleased with how much time the office took with my son and I am so, so happy with the results. read more

FRAUD.....BEWARE!! I went in for a first visit to get tested for allergies. The lady at the front desk had my insurance card and even though the card specifically states $20 copay, I was charged $50. I didn't question it as my insurance is new to me so I assumed it must be $50 for specialty. Dr. Greenburg conducted the testing and told me verbally that I don't have any allergy issues. But wanted me to go back in 2 weeks to discuss plan for the reading and give me the actual results on paper. I go back 2 weeks later and find out just to get the results, it's another $25 co-pay. Not sure why the co pay amount is different this time. Another red flag! I call my insurance company and they told me my co-pay is only $20. So the girl upfront just likes to make up numbers and over charge you. Secondly, a little shady to go back for a visit to get your diagnosis and get charged again so they can also charge the insurance company when it could have been a quick phone call. Super fraudulent!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. read more

Very creepy office. I got a late afternoon appointment in the winter, and while I was there the whole office emptied out and then the receptionist came to say she was leaving! As in leaving me, a female, alone in an ENTIRE medical office alone with the doctor! I spent the rest of the visit eyeing my keys and planning on how to claw his eyes out if things went left. They didn't and he was nice enough. But he was awfully accommodating to have another late appointment after average hours for the next appointment to discuss my results - made some type of exception when the reception said it was too late. ??? Maybe my personality was just that sparkling? LOL. Needless to say, I never came back to discuss my results. I planned to just get an earlier appointment in his other office which was farther away, but at least in daylight, but I thought about all the other doctors I know who won't go in a room with you alone in a full office during the day. That he'd put himself in danger of accusations or peril says something about his judgment even if he's a perfectly non-predatory guy. His business partners in the pediatric half need to have. talk with him about having some type of policy to prevent this from happening again. read more

Complete inability to take responsibility! My son would visit Dr. Greenberg's office for administration of his allergy shots. Unfortunately he has not been able to visit Dr. Greenberg's office for a couple months. While scheduling an appointment for his shot, we discussed with the scheduling nurse that we had not been at the office for a couple months and wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be any problems. Upon arriving for the appointment, my wife and son had to wait 30 minutes to then be told that they would not administer the shot due to the time since his last visit. My wife then reminded them that the issue was raised earlier when scheduling the appointment. The nurse nonchalantly brushed her off. My wife and son wasted 30 mins driving to the office, 30 mins waiting and then 30 mins driving home. Maybe we should bill Dr. Greenberg for our time? read more

Beware... most of this guys patients probably have "asthma". This man continuously pushed the drug Adair on my daughter. He said her lungs weren't functioning properly and then, after months of using, he claimed my daughter's lung function was worse... and she needed to be using it more regularly. I let him know that I wanted to get a second opinion. He argued with me, and berated me claiming that as an allergist, he knows more that a lung specialist. He also refused to take the time to break down the details and scheduled a separate visit for me and her dad which he charged us and the insurance company for. In that visit, he broke down the science of what was happening in her lungs from a medical standpoint. Year later, my daughters lungs are fine. No wheezing, no issues. All we've been doing is diffusing essential oils for respiratory health. She has a different doctor now and she has a rescue inhaler only as needed which she uses maybe once every 6 months. This guy is a prime example of a pharmaceutical pusher. I don't care for or trust doctors like this. read more

The culture of a medical practice starts with the Doctor. The Pediatric & Allergy Group of Southern California has an amazing staff and a down to earth Doctor. I found Dr. Greenberg to focus on my son's best interest and not just a steady revenue stream from allergy shots as we experienced at a couple of other local allergy clinics. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. In the office Jeannette had the patient of a saint when scheduling around our busy schedule. Dr. Greenberg runs on time and is not overbooked which showed in his relaxed demeanor with his patients. Boy do I wish we had seen him first and not endured the pressure to get my son on shots at other clinics. From our experience at other clinics their goal with testing everybody is the focus of making money by getting at least 80% of their patients on an immunotherapy regiment. At Dr. Greenberg's clinic only about 10% of his patients seem to require immunotherapy while receiving excellent care. read more
