Allergy testing. Whatever gets inflamed is what he's allergic to. My son is allergic to alot! I'm so glad I learned this.

My son has had chronic bad itchy bumpy skin, a sniffly nose and red eyes. He has been sniffling for years. He even has a crease in his nose from constantly pushing his nose up. Even his teacher complained that he sniffles all the time. I couldn't stand it anymore so I took him to Dr. Greenberg -- I was willing to get whatever shots he needed to stop the sniffling. The office gave him a long battery of tests. They had 4 boards with like 12 needs each on them that they put on his back -- which he hated and cried a little. Then they wait to see which inflamed to test what he was allergic to. Then he had several breathing tests. I was amazed at how much testing they did!! But it felt good that he wasn't just looking at him and giving him a quick diagnosis. The doctor came in and told us just the parents needed to come back for a full breakdown of the test results but from what he saw, our son needed to stop eating yeast and corn. Also use a daily Flonase. So...we did this for about 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks, my son's itchy skin, eczema (or what I thought was eczema but was really an allergic reaction) and sniffling was GONE! It was amazing. I was thrilled. When we went back to the doctor, he gave us a full analysis with recommendations and NEVER pushed allergy shots. He didn't push any prescription medications. He said they were completely optional because my son's lungs were functioning low but not horrible. Overall, I was very pleased with how much time the office took with my son and I am so, so happy with the results.

I'm still trying to find the right words to describe today's experience. This was our second visit…read morewith the doctor for my four-month-old son, who has been struggling with severe eczema flare-ups all over his body and scalp. We've tried multiple approaches to identify the cause, so we were hoping for some answers. Today's appointment was a skin check. The nurse applied two test panels and waited 20 minutes for the results. To my untrained eye, it was clear that two spots showed a reaction. When the doctor came in, she reviewed the spots, made a few notes, and then suggested scheduling another appointment three days later. When I asked why we had to wait for the results--especially since she had just looked at the reaction--her response shocked me: she said it was because insurance doesn't pay for her time and that today's visit only reimbursed $10. Not to mention our $50 co-pay. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was painfully clear that the focus was on insurance and money rather than the welfare of my child. I left with a four-month-old baby who now has inflamed spots on his back, and still no answers. I hope no other parents have to experience this kind of prioritization of insurance over patient care.

Went to review this place and Dr. Ramadas, but I noticed they are permanently closed. Just wanted…read moreto say they're cash cows. I went for YEARS. Over 10 years.... And never got a solution to help my asthma or allergies. The receptionist was rude for a very very long time, for as long as I could remember and Dr. Ramadas never gave me any treatments to help my asthma or allergies. Yes, she is kind, but all she did was have me do a breathing exercise or test every once in awhile and gave me inhalers which I could have gotten from my general doctor. I ended up stopping my allergy or asthma meds she gave me for years and I got diagnosed elsewhere right away. I'm sad I wasted thousands of dollars over the years to go here and never got any sort of answers or help. Glad this practice is closed.

Dr. Gary is a LIFESAVER!…read more I'm originally from the East Coast (lived in New York and New Jersey for most of my life). When we moved to the West Coast years ago I began getting sick all the time. I later developed severe allergies to foods and products. I became allergic to what felt like almost everything. I lived in misery for years. Even though I was being seen by different conventional doctors, my condition was getting worse with more issues (hives, rashes, sinusitis, abdominal pain, chronic fatigue, brain fog, lack of concentration, breathing issues and more). I got so sick I was unable to work. I eventually learned the reason my overall condition was not improving was because the physicians would only treat the symptoms and not the root cause. Fast forward to finding Dr. Gary... After my initial consultation with Dr. Gary on 3/14/15, I treated with him once a week for about 11 weeks. I'm happy to report that I feel so much better. I'll be visiting him this week for a check up. If you are suffering from any type of allergies at all visit Dr. Gary. He's reasonably priced. He is worth every penny he charges and more. You can't put a price tag on having quality of life.

I had a really disappointing experience at Coastal Allergy Care…read more The wait time alone was frustrating. Even with an appointment, I was left waiting far longer than expected, and there was no communication about the delay. Once I was finally seen, the visit felt rushed and very generic. I didn't receive a clear explanation of my condition or a meaningful treatment plan. It felt more like a box checking appointment than actual care. The biggest issue was the lack of transparency around testing and billing. Additional tests were performed without clearly explaining the cost or whether they were covered by insurance. There was no upfront discussion, and I never received a proper breakdown or explanation of benefits. To make matters worse, I left without real answers or a plan, and later received a large, unexpected bill. Instead of providing a straightforward way to resolve or pay the balance, there was no clear online payment option, and the bill was sent to collections. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and lacking in communication. I would strongly caution anyone considering this office to ask very direct questions about costs, insurance coverage, and billing practices before agreeing to anything.

Additionally, all of her staff in the Camarillo location are always so kind and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend meeting with her and picking her brain for all of her amazing knowledge.
