However, I'm worried about not being able to find a good Doctor to do a knee replacement. If given exercises, I could probably do the PT at home. Dr Davis said he didn't know what was wrong with my knee and just wanted to put me on pain meds. He then charged my over $500 for a 10 minute visit where he showed zero curiosity or empathy. I'm so sick of the Michigan orthopedic doctors who only want to perform expensive surgeries, then get you into expensive PT that doesn't work and when things aren't progressing put you on pain meds. During my appointment, they insisted I needed an MRI and scheduled it for me. They scheduled it for 6/3 on my behalf. Later in the day on 6/2, the MRI office called and said they have an earlier appointment and I accepted. Later in that same day on 6/2, MRI office called and said I do not have active insurance. I then called Lederman office and was told they verified I have active insurance. MRI was completed at the 3rd party and was then informed I need to pay $400+ because my insurance is no longer active. Lederman then charged me $765 and claimed it is on me to know I do not have active insurance. EVEN THOUGH THEY VERIFIED IT BEFORE SCHEDULING ME, CONFIMED I HAD ACTIVE PRIOR TO THE MRI, SCHEDULED THE MRI FOR ME, AND CONTINUED TO SAY INSURANCE WAS CONFIRMED TO BE ACTIVE EVEN AFTER I INFORMED THEM THE MRI OFFICE IS STATING INSURANCE IS NOT ACTIVE. I informed the doctor office I also use Medicaid, but they do not accept it. They then reduced the bill from $765 to $215 only after being super rude, disrespectful, and having the most condescending tone I have heard in a long time. Just awful to work with and they didn't care about my side of the story at all. The doctor was solid but because of Laurie and Rochelle being some of the most arrogant and disrespectful individuals I have ever had the displeasure of encountering, I would stay far away from this place and utilize any other doctor in your network. Rochelle is also a supervisor (somehow) and was the worst of them all. Just a nightmare to work with and truly wish I would have never visited them to begin with.

I went to Dr Homer for a second opinion. He was very thorough and explained all our options. He made sure my son was comfortable and let him be part of our decision process. We completely trusted Dr Homer and the decision to have surgery. After 12 weeks and some therapy my son was back on the ice. We have since recommended a friend to his office. He has a great bedside manner. I feel we got the best care. We drove an hour away to see Dr Homer because of the care we received.

I drive all the way there only to find out they had cancelled my appointment three weeks prior because he was going to be out of town, yet they failed to properly notify me. They said they tried to call me, but got a message saying the line was no longer in service. After asking which number they tried calling it was apparent they never updated my records like I had thought. My immediate thought was "If they had cancelled the appointment three weeks ago and couldn't reach me by phone, why did they not send me a letter in the mail notifying me as well as asking me to update my contact info with them?" I asked this and the girl just looked at me dumbfounded and clueless. No apology what-so-ever for wasting my time, gas and most importantly my patience. Most recently I had another recheck scheduled (this time over two months in advance) and I missed the appointment. I do take some responsibility for this as I should have marked it in my calendar, but I am pretty irked that I didn't get a reminder phone call or even a call after I missed the appointment to make sure everything was okay. Any other doctors office I have ever gone to has always given a reminder call 24 or 48 hours prior. If not a live person then a recording which is just as good. When I called to reschedule I asked if they normally do reminder calls for appointments and the lady had this snotty tone to her voice and said no as if I had just asked her some kind of joke question. Like a "how dare you ask me" type thing. Okay then... - Bottom Line - Doctor = Awesome Staff = Poop

AMAN UPADHYAY, my office visit:…read more I drove over 3 hours to this clinic, hopeful that I would get help for my decades of chronic pain. Boy was I wrong!!! This "guy" was in the room for less than a minute. He came in over 30 minutes late, mumbling a couple of things I couldn't hear (tinnitus and hearing loss) as he closed the door. My autistic daughter said, "my dad is laying on his stomach to ease his chronic pain." He interrupted her, and told her to "shut the f*** up, this is my clinic." Astonished, I looked up and asked, "Did you just tell my autistic daughter to shut the f*** up?" He actually said this. I was taken aback by this language and treatment of my daughter. He said, "this is private property, I don't have to listen to this, you have 30 seconds to leave before I call the cops." Then he stormed out of the room! He never asked a single question about my pain. In fact, he actually ridiculed my chronic pain saying, "people here are dying, your pain isn't that bad." And he did call 911 on this 60yr old disabled Air Force Vet. On my way out I stopped in the hallway and stared at him in the cubicle bullpen. He repeated his threat. I called him an a** whole with no empathy. He called 911. Once he established his name and address, he escalated the situation by advancing toward me in an aggressive manner from almost 20 feet away! I took a half step to rebalance. That's when he leaned into my face, and quietly said, "c'mon, hit me!" This is on the 911 call he placed that the Waterford cops won't let me have. I shouted out for all to hear me say, "hit you?! How f****** stupid do you think I am?" And with that, I walked back into the lobby, slamming the door behind me after being insulted and threatened. He threw the door open and physically advanced on me again in the waiting room. Like I said, this alpha was angry and itching for a hands-on confrontation. Otherwise, he wouldn't have quietly goaded me with, "cmon, hit me," in a hushed tone, would he? I should add that I am 4 inches shorter than this male. He is bigger than me, and in much better shape than my broken body. He used his physical advantages against me in a highly aggressive manner. He physically chased my autistic 25 year old daughter and myself out the clinic doors and across the parking lot! His treatment of patients who rate him a 1 star service to should be investigated for patterns of reverse discrimination. The way he looked at me in the treatment room was downright scary. There are serious Anger Problems here. The way he treated my autistic daughter was inexcusable. His remarks and hostility towards me was his way of telling me to drop dead. No hyperbole here. I'm a 60yr old disabled Air Force Vet. I've lived in chronic pain for decades. I can read body language AND between the lines of these people. That's my experience and only visit I make to this place.

His surgical team synchronizes his orchestral abilities to perform complex neurological surgeries. As a Nurse, and clinical coordinator, I have seen the best, in my region. Dr. Kelkar is now at the top of that list. I had adverse symptoms in my limbs before the surgery despite Physical Therapy for almost a year. The symptoms disappeared from my limbs immediately PACU. I wanted to do an MRI just to make sure something wasn't wrong but she told me it wasn't necessary. Told me to put ice and heat on it and rest. So I did that for awhile but not good results came from it. Went to another doctor and he told me it was a chronic ACL tear and I needed surgery. So my point is, if you go to this office make sure you get Dr Williams and not the PA
