The modules program that each participant follows is full of videos and impactful information to guide each person on their health journey. What attracted me to this practice initially, was how unique it was from others I was considering. I am referring to brain re-training. This is a critical piece to healing and often overlooked. Having been given the tools, I practice my mind re-training, breathing and gratitude every day. Family members I visited while on the program mentioned to me how much calmer I am now. My hair is growing in and my dry eyes, while not yet healed, are less painful when I waken in the morning. All team providers are readily accessible between scheduled appointments and were all prompt for scheduled meetings with me. A shout out to Joy (office support). She got those supplements/remedies to me very promptly and e-mails initially explaining the program and who to contact were thorough and left nothing to question. I would be neglectful not mentioning health coaches Kourtney and Halicia. Yes, an assigned, health coach!! This was another amazing benefit. Kourtney was kind, professional, and helpful in my decision regarding program appropriateness through my scheduled discovery call. Halicia, my assigned program Health Coach, provided regular support calls answering endless questions. Thank you so much Halicia! (and Kourtney too). By the way, Alicia, The Total Gym is now out of the closet [since purchased in the 90s) and being used for weight training. All three Naturopaths who I met with regularly, evaluated and carefully considered my progress and made changes as needed. Healing takes time and Dr. Johnson told me on my 1st visit that brain re-training would be a major part of my healing. I feel grateful for the care and tools provided to me to continue my wellness journey. There are no nickel and diming surprises. The price I paid was an all-inclusive amazing value. and exceeded my expectations.

I definitely recommend Thrive Naturopathic. The team really cares about your well being. This review is entirely based on the practice fleecing me for a wrist brace. The care provided by…read moreDr. Hubbard was great. Here's what happened: The doctor said my daughter needed a brace. A technician appeared in the room with a brace and said not to worry, it would be covered by insurance. Now, a word about this brace: The exact same make and model is available online at multiple sites for about $30. It's a pretty standard stiff nylon and Velcro brace. A few weeks after the office visit, I received a bill for $89.02. Insurance paid the other half of the cost, not the full cost as the technician led me to believe. It's actually even worse: The practice sought to bill insurance $802.86 for the brace. The bill was reduced to the insurance contract amount of $178.04. I was told it would be covered and never informed of the list price. Plus, it's just offensive they would charge so much for a brace that others sell for $30. When I called the practice to discuss this, I waited on hold for 20 minutes and then was disconnected. I had to call back, wait again, and get transferred between multiple people who said there was nothing they could do about it. They blamed insurance for setting the reimbursement price. This is not how to treat patients. This is deceptive and an outrageous money grab. UPDATE: After no fewer than 10 calls to the practice, I finally reached a supervisor who agreed to drop the $89.02 charge. I appreciate the final decision but it was painful getting to this point.

Her treatment began with an interview that ranged from questions regarding the location, nature, and possible causes of the pain to a review of my daily habits and routine. She then asked me to move my arms in various ways and directions and to report when and where I felt pain. There followed a demonstration, using a physical model of the shoulder, of how the shoulder skeleton and muscles work, pointing out where the problem most probably originated and how it would most likely affect the muscles and nerves in my arms. Subsequently and over the course of several weeks with two appointments per week, she introduced a series of exercises and adjustments to my routine (with how-to print-outs of each) that have made a significant difference in how I feel and can move. I was particularly impressed by the fact that, although she has a long roster of patients, at every appointment she remembered the particulars of my specific condition, which resulted in a very personalized (not a one-size-fits-all) regimen. As an 80-year-old, my regular schedule of lap swimming is critical to my mobility, stability, and general physical (and mental!) well-being, and Lindsay has helped me optimize all those. She is an outstanding physical therapist!
