Went to a new dentist in Elizabeth and thank g-d, I'm very satisfied, I'm not paying cash anymore and will keep my receipt. I don't have insurance, today I just paid $6500.00 for a bridge. Dr Nunez still has that person on staff, she's now in the office, good luck if you have to deal with her on a bad day.

Well, well, well! Let's just say my journey with Magic Smile Dental started in September of 2014. I…read morewas 9 months pregnant and found myself in terrifying pain, dental pain that was! I received medical clearance from my OB-GYN and rushed myself into Magic Smile Dental. I was able to get an appointment the same day I received medical clearance. The staff was very attentive and nice. Doctor B was very alert and aware of my condition and was able to intervene and take me out of my misery. He used an anesthetic that would not harm my unborn, but would help me through the procedure. He did an pulpectomy(removal of the nerve) in a tooth that was infected. Wow! All the pain was gone! Eventually I gave birth and returned to finish up the root canal on that tooth. I loved their service and attentiveness that I even went on to do an implant that was needed from an extraction that was done 3 years prior to being a patient at Magic Smile Dental! Let's just say I am beyond pleased with the results of my dental implant that I have showed off my entire progress to all my family, friends, and coworkers! Approx 6 months for the entire completion of the implant(of course everyone is different) from bone grafting, post, abutment, impressions to actual placement. I have enjoyed every step of the way! Thank you Dr. B for the pulpectomy and implant. Also to Dr. Silva who completed my root canal. And of course to Justina the hygienist who is very persistent on educating me on primary prevention measures. And to all the dental assistants who put my comfort and needs above all expectations!!! I thank you all for your great service and dedication and more importantly for helping me become more aware with my dental health!!!! Didn't even start my cleaning so I had to endure a half hour pitch for implants. Then when I was done, sales lady tried to sell me some new $6000 laser periodontal cleaning procedure. However, the hygienist didn't clean the plaque off my teeth. She didn't even use a sickle scaler at all. She finished my cleaning in about 3 minutes while was the shorter cleaning I've ever received. I didn't take a look at my teeth until I got to my car. I then called their office and told them that I was unsatisfied because of the plaque. The person said, "We will not bill your insurance." I asked " Can I just have it cleaned properly since I literally just walked out. I walked back to the office to show the hygienist my teeth and the other staff members and ask if there's a way to just have it cleaned properly today. The hygienist literally said, "Go somewhere that makes you satisfied, we don't clean off plaque. You need to find place that specializes in deep cleaning. Super dismissive, unprofessional, and unapologetic. Every dental office I've ever been to had cleaned the plaque between the same two teeth. It would have taken less than 3 minutes to clean. Why not just clean it and still get paid by my insurance? Or even say "Due to it being a Saturday, we can't assist you since we close early." Say something professional. Guess they're rather a bad review and to lose a client. I higher do not recommend this place.
