(They never advised me of this information). Huge out of pocket expense because of this. Then I made an appointment for a follow up on my knee. My surgeon, Dr. Hectman, was unavailable for an appointment and had to wait two months or see his PA. I agreed to see his PA. Come to find out she is not in my insurance network either. I don't understand how this practice has some doctors in network and some not and they don't even tell you until it's too late and you start getting astronomical bills!! Dereliction of duty!!!! I will never refer anyone here again and I will never be back. Time to find another doctor.

Was the treating physician. I had my doubts as he is not an 'MD' and I am old school but he was knowledgeable and had training under the Miami Heat physician. Finally I grew up in Miami and very aware of this practice. I even went to school with one of the doctors, Keith Hechtman and of course everyone knows Dr Harlan Selesnick of The Miami Dolphins and Heat. So I would trust them for my needs and you should too.

With the latter, I have no issues given the nature of the injury. I recently saw one of Dr Fernandez's PAs for my right shoulder which I aggravated playing golf. An X-ray was taken and his opinion was a torn rotator cuff. He said Dr Fernandez didn't do rotator cuffs and referred me to another specialist which took yet another month + to set up an appointment. I told him what was wrong with me (golfers elbow on both elbows) and what i couldn't do. He worked his magic and then gave me recommendations on how to adjust my wrist positions on various exercises and now, months later, i don't even ever remember having golfers elbow anymore even though i suffered with it for months before even seeking help. Thank you Alex!! You did so much more for me than you know :)
