From reading the very first reviews online, I felt a comfort zone with her bio. I then called and made an appointment and went in and she is as lovely and caring and knowledgeable and I'm talking about Dr Pamela Stearns. She stays with you as long as you need her and to me, that is the most important. My quality care is absolutely wonderful. I never leave the office feeling unanswered or having questions what I don't think of she does. The office staff is all very sweet and gets their job done as as they are asked they make you feel like they are your friends and that's also important to me. I like to Feel like I mean something to them and to all. And for my last bit of information you couldn't ask for a finer doctor and staff anywhere. I drive 45 minutes to go to her office and if it was further, I'd drive that as well. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Stearns for over 15 years until Cano Health bought out the practice and WHAT A MESS it is. Negative five stars for the new practice and front office staff, especially the most incompetent, disrespectful and rude receptionist. Honestly one of the most rude people I have ever Ever met. Stay away and save yourself the aggravation of horrible, unwelcoming, unpleasant and disrespectful front office staff. If you find Dr. Stearns ever decides to leave and open her own practice again, then follow her but hopefully she'll only take her one old front office staffer beautiful soul and not her Portuguese-speaking front receptionist. read more

After horrendous treatment by my last doctor's office when he retired and a new firm took over, I recently took my business to the highly recommended Dr. Stearns. Glad I did, as I was treated very well and was greatly appreciative. Christina, at the front desk, was very nice and helpful. The doctor's staff, Priscilla, Lia, Juju and Julianna, among others, were very nice, kind and helpful, too. Dr. Stearns saw me on my 2nd visit, gave me enough time to talk about my condition and immediately worked to improve my health. First of all I love Dr. Stearns.Today I called to make an appointment for my husband who has been going to their office for many years now.He sees the nurse practitioner Priscilla.I was told that Dr.Stearns was no longer there and that the nurse practitioner and the entire office only takes Medicare now not Aetna.So no one told us or sent us anything stating that we could no longer come there.My husband was just there last year for his yearly checkup.Now we are out in the cold with no Dr and they would not give us any referrals.Now that we need another checkup we have no one to go to.Thank you for all the years we came to you!!!! read more

I can honestly say over the 10 times I have been in this office I have only physically seen Dr. Stearns once (and that was because she was walking through the office) but all 10 times I saw Dr. Delgado and she is WONDERFUL! Downsides are that it's not open on weekends and although their website says they open at 7am and the receptionist claims they open at 8am, you typically can't get someone to answer a phone until 8:20-8:30pm read more

I am not sure what all this people talking about? Are you sure you are talking about Dr Stearns? I have known Dr Stearns for over 20 years. She does take the time to talk to you and explains in detail what is going on and what it needs to be done, she is a great Doctor. Don't use their assistant. I have been going to Dr. Stearns for around 13 years. I used to think she was good and down to earth. However, over recent years you often get passed off to doctors in training and when you do see Dr. Stearns she seems rushed and like she really doesn't care. Like most doctors these days it seems like less about heath care and genuinely trying to help you and more about collecting your co-pay and writing you a random and or generic prescription. I recently saw her for unexplained hair loss. Needless to say it has been very upsetting. On my first visit she said I don't know what to tell you or how to help you with hair loss. On my second visit, when I told her how distraught I was over it she referred me to a Psychiatrist. Turns out I wasn't crazy after all. My dermatologist did a CBC test on me and found that my Ferritin was low. In fact so low at 14 that my hair started falling out. If Ferritin drops below 40- 50 your hair starts falling out and until you get your Ferritin up to 70 for 3 months the shedding will continue. If your doctor stops caring and trying to find solutions for you find another. There are still doctors out there that are still in the business of healing you vs. simply getting you in and out collecting co-pays. read more

I was nervous about moving to a new area last year and was even more worried that I wouldn't find a good dr that could handle my very rare disease, pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Stearns, Daphne, Lourdes, and Dr. Stearns' nurse have all be amazing. They are quick to get referrals out and quick to get me in for an appointment if I'm sick. I have been on blood thinners for about 2 years and pretty stable. A few weeks ago my INR came back a little high and Dr. Stearns called me on her personal cell phone on the weekend to speak with me about it. I was very impressed that she took the time to do that. I am so blessed that I found such a caring Dr. and a wonderful staff to boot! read more

The staff of the office is friendly, professional and helpful when have needs. Dr. Stearns takes her time to communicate clearly so one does not feel merely like a number or rushed through the examination. She also clearly cares for the patient and goes the extra mile to serve. read more

Looking for a DO locally but it seems this doctor has so much business she cannot possibly take a few minutes and meet with me or talk on the phone with me. Her office manager states that you must have a first appointment with a nurse practitioner then, if needed, a future visit will be with the doctor. How incredibly short sighted this seems. When shopping for a doctor one has an interest in determining the philosophy of care this doctor exercises but there is no way to identify this as you are not permitted to meet or talk with the doctor. Medical care is more about business these days and much less about patient care. Sad. read more

Do not risk your health seeing this doctor. Never available, does not answer questions or even ask questions, never returns calls, makes patients pay for visits before even being seen, lacks care or concern for patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Stearns for over 10 years. Given she is a seasoned doctor, I trust her advice and diagnostics. She has always been on point and I have received the best care and response from her staff in particular Lourdes. Daphne has also been great when it comes to my blood tests. read more

I am a nurse, and have been going to Dr. Stearns since the office opened, many many years. With the exception of Lourdes, I had a very hard time this past week talking to the staff who answered the phone. I had a hand x-ray at Mount Sinai medical - for excruciating pain, where I was unable to work. This was on Thursday, four days ago. I faxed the report to Dr. Stearns I was told it was received and read and she would be getting back to me that was Friday. I called this Morning, now Tuesday, to a girl at the front office, she said the doctor read my x-ray, and I said " and " and they said " and nothing you have Osteoarthritis " I said I was in excruciating pain they said the doctors told them that nothing could be done I was furious, I made my own appointment with an orthopedic, the doctors office finally called me back to say that Dr. Stearns said I should see in orthopedist, I told them I did this already on my own, terrible service this time, very disappointed in the way people spoke to me on the phone - I can't imagine how a non-medical person is spoken to - Every time I asked to speak to the doctor I always get someone else, not the service I give where I work read more
