I have waited some time before writing this review because I wanted to make sure I was going to get…read morea refund for all my visits, thankfully I did. That was about the best experience I had was with the billing gal, with the rest of the staff... not so much. I typically don't write reviews ever, but this shouldn't go unnoticed, I am currently pregnant with my first child. I came to Lifestages as a recommendation from my Aunt who had a "wonderful" experience with Dr. Huges.. so I was very excited to be able to be "taken care of". It was the worst... the front office is beautiful but the staff is terrible. The front desk lady very much seems to hate her life or her job I really can't tell. The nurses are rude as hell. They hate doing their job and don't take criticism well. I had gotten a very painful UTI and calling for help was like pulling teeth. Finally when I was able to get an appointment the staff was very nasty with me especially when I spoke up about how disappointed I was about my care. Even the provider Julie huges was nasty towards me and made me feel awful for coming in and wanting to be check. They pretty much told me everything was fine and there wasn't anything they could do.. once I decided to switch care after that awful appointment I got a call FROM THE PROVIDER HERSELF saying "oh yea actually you do have a UTI I will send something in" after saying tough crap a few days before. Good luck getting in touch with your nurse if you ever call or a call back. They wont listen to your voicemail all the way through either. I told them to call me at my updated number which if they had listened to the entire voicemail they would've known and even got my new number which I repeated twice.. then be prepared to be blamed for it. All in all I am so glad that I took my care somewhere else, I will never recommend this office to anyone. They really did ruin my experience with being pregnant for the first time. St Lukes has been soooo awesome and the staff is so caring!! YES YOU CAN FIND THIS REVIEW ON GOOGLE AS WELL... spreading awareness this clinic sucks :) (The shitty nurse is Megan btw)

Lifestages was by far the worst experience…read more After being hospitalized for a complication during pregnancy, the hospital said to follow up the next day with Dr. Hughes. I tried reaching out several times and did not hear back. I was concerned about my health and my baby's so I ended up getting in with my primary care doctor. He was able to give me the care I needed and agreed Lifestages was acting inappropriate. Lifestages eventually got me in over a week after my hospitalization. I was treated coldly during my appointment and at that time opted to start looking for a new obgyn. Because of how Lifestages sets up payments, I had over paid. After multiple conversations, they agreed that I did over pay but refuse to refund me my money. It has been over a year since I left them and still no refund. They ignore calls and do not return messages. We are still waiting to see if they will be ethical and give the proper refund.

Dr. Mullins is brilliant, and Mary, the NP, has also been outstanding. I've always received…read moreexcellent care and treatment whenever I've needed it. My only concern involves the check-in and appointment scheduling process at the front desk. Each time I make an appointment -- especially when scheduling in person -- I'm asked to explain the reason for my visit aloud in a public setting. It's uncomfortable discussing personal medical information when other staff members and patients in the waiting area can overhear the conversation. I completely understand that some information may be needed for scheduling purposes, but I believe there should be a more private and discreet way to handle those conversations to better protect patient confidentiality and comfort. Other than that concern, the quality of care from the medical team has been excellent.

The care I received by the nursing staff was juvenile at best. This is frustrating since Dr…read more Mullins is a primary I really enjoyed, but will go elsewhere due to the poor representation the staff has done for him. A family member of mine was recently diagnosed with an auto immune disease, for the sake of medical privacy it will be left at that. Under reasonable suspicion, with corroborating symptoms, it was advised to me to visit my primary and begin a soft approach into the potential research of myself also being affected by it. The doctor ordered an EKG as preliminary, and tasked his nurse Maria to do so. In preparation she asked "something wrong with your heart?" I replied, "Unsure, this may be part of other things I'm researching.." Interrupted, she responded with a chuckle "like (insert my family members diagnosis) man Google can be such a liar huh?" Baffled, I gave an automated response being in shock that a nurse could so simply diminish the concerns I'm having, while also implying that I was there because Google MD told me to. Patients rely on medical staff to treat their concerns with professionalism and respect. Dismissing my visit with comments that implied I was overreacting or relying on Google was inappropriate and undermined my confidence in the care I was seeking. Taking initiative in my own health should not be met with ridicule. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the practice as a whole and ultimately influenced my decision to seek care elsewhere.

I assumed that my insurance had covered it and assumed it was taken care of since I hadn't heard anything. Come to find out, my account was filled in as "self pay" even though I had insurance at the time. Fast forward to 10 days ago when I received my very first bill where they also informed me that they would be passing my bill onto collections if I didn't pay by the 15th of December. I called and talked to Mary in billing and she said she would email me paperwork to fix it so that I was able to make payments. I agreed after she was extremely defensive because I expressed my disappointment in being billed 3 years later and right before Christmas. I never ended up revieving any paperwork and checked my email everyday for the last week. She then emailed me yesterday, with the paperwork, and said that she would be sending me to collections because I didn't send in the paperwork. I have NEVER been sent to collections in my life! I pay my bills and have never been so disgusted with the way I've been treated for the last week and a half from a business. Please do you and your family a favor and run far away from this office!

I have never been treated so rudely in my life until dealing with their staff, so now I'm left to find Decent Care on my own !!!I hope that anyone who reads this stays very clear of this location in Caldwell. They are literally no help. I finally got my last-minute medication which I can't even go off of ...this place is a joke don't ever go near there if you want actual care.. Sadly they have missed the mark by a mile. Runaway don't walk.

I was referred to West Valley Spine and thought, "Okay, it's going to be a long time before I hear from them to set up an appointment." Wrong. They contacted me a couple of weeks later and I got in there soon after, too. They have two locations, in near downtown Meridian and in Caldwell. Been to both locations and saw the same doctor and assistant, Sarah Wilson and Edgar. This whole situation is brand new to me and I was a bit apprehensive, but I need not have been. Both were so friendly and took their time to explain everything. Sarah is very knowledgable and she has my trust. Recently had to go in for a second look-see as my pain has increased-dang those family genes. They got me in right away and again I was met with professionalism and friendly folks. Now, I get to experience some physical therapy (review later on that one).
