This last observation then segues into my wife's comments that she relayed to me after talking with the owner. She (the owner) opened this shop because the craft show activity in the area has been greatly mitigated due to issues related to COVID. This establishment gives local crafters an outlet for their wares, and there are one-of-a-kind offerings that can be found throughout. My wife bought a beautifully decorated birdhouse for a steal (barely above the price of the materials). If you're looking for an unusual gift, this is a terrific place to look for one.

Lots of patterns for quilts, bags, and all those notions and things that you did know that you needed. Recently I just attended a vintage sewing machine repair class, limited the number of students, social distanced and everyone was masked for the entirety of the class. I felt very safe. Also, the store is on the second floor. There is an elevator. During this COVID time, there are numbers on the first floor door to grab as they are only letting people in with a number. When the numbers are not hanging, you have to wait for a customer to return their number, then you can grab it and come it. It's a really nice system.

First time at this annual fall festival. This year they celebrated their 29th year!…read more We enjoyed the corny dogs and loaded butterfly chips. Lots of other great vendors like BBQ, classic burgers, tavern style food and beer on tap. We only stayed for 45minutes because it was raining and it was in the low 50's. They had 330 vendors from all over Michigan and Detroit area. I'm definitely looking forward to next year, as we will be more equipped and know what to expect. But I did not find any holiday mugs worth getting. The only mugs they had that I liked were way way too big. But I checked each corner of the store and found not one sweater. Last year came in here and there were a lot of options. So I went up to the front desk and asked the girl working, she walked over to show me and the only thing they have are sweaters but they are so thin it's almost spring scarf material and the quality of the prints did not satisfy what I was looking for. So today's visit was a flop. I did find two pairs of socks and a pen.
