IYKYK…read more This spot looked exactly like you'd expect an Irish pub to look like: old wooden seats, dim lights, a little worn down, with lights strung up inside. But it was super clean and had a genuine, chill vibe. To my surprise, every single person there -- from the staff to the patrons -- was incredibly friendly and warm. It caught me off guard how kind and attentive everyone was. The service was EXCELLENT , and I'd easily give five stars for both cleanliness and hospitality. As for the food, it was okay. I ordered the calamari, and it was decent. I should have tried the spice bag because the folks seated next to us ordered it and it smelled delicious! The espresso martini was absolutely bomb, and everything coming out of that kitchen looked and smelled great. The service and atmosphere made the experience memorable. I could definitely see myself going back for a couple of drinks or to catch a game -- especially because it felt good to be treated with such genuine warmth in a space where I didn't necessarily expect it. I think our server was Samson, maybe, and someone else served us, I didn't get his name- but thanks for your hospitality.

It was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a go. It was pretty large, with well-worn unassuming "decor" that consisted of cheap wood panels, industrial rust-colored tiles, lots of TVs, and games of all kinds. Fancy this place is not, but it's definitely part of its comfortable, low-key charm. We imbibed an assortment of cheap beers and shots and were having a good time until a little before 11, when the bartender came around for last calls. Apparently they close at 11pm most nights, and at 12:30 on Friday & Sat nights--so early! Welp, on to the next place!

It really is very tiny, so just be aware that seating is sometimes limited. They didn't have too much on draft, thought some of that was due to the Scottish being in town for the World Cup the week before. We went with lemon drop shots, and the bartender was very transparent about the fact that he was out of most of his supplies due to the Scottish. No fault at all to them for that because that was the situation at every bar we went to. Service was friendly, the shot was nice and strong, and it was a nice little spot. Beyond drinking, there isn't really much going on in the bar in terms of activities, but there were TVs. So, watching sports here is definitely an option. I'd definitely say that this spot is worth popping in if you are enjoying a night on the town, but that it probably shouldn't be the only spot you go to.

We…read moreunfortunately missed the kitchen as by the time we got there at 10:30pm, they had stopped serving food (on a Tuesday). But we grabbed a drink and enjoyed conversation. They had a lot of local brews and my cider was local too from MA--it was really good and refreshing. It was busy for a weeknight, so I think this is a good spot for locals! We will definitely come back for food another night as we wanted to try their fish and chip.
