Dryft is easy to get to from the beach side and the subway. We ate on the outdoor deck. The restaurant is above street level for an ocean view. What a great way to enjoy a summer afternoon. Our service was great, professional not overly friendly. I liked the atmosphere, casual but a bit upscale for Revere Beach. The food was delicious. I tried the clam chowder, and ordered the mushroom gnocchi. Which both delicious. They have a full bar and they offer high tops, regular chairs and indoor & outdoor seating. The menu has a Lunch price until 3 and a dinner price. I'll be back.

Then brought me through the dining room to a table. I asked again if I could be seated outside because I am eating, she said no, even though there were about 8 or 9 tables available outside. So I asked to be seated at the table by the window closest to the ocean, which you couldn't see out of based on the reflections of the lights. I likely would have chosen another place if I knew it would be so difficult to get a table outside even when they are available. So I ordered a dozen oysters, half blondes from Blue Hill Bay Maine, half were from Little Pilgrim, Mass.; they were delicious and fresh. I looked them up afterwards and I'm not sure they gave me the right names, but they do look close and at least they had a relative idea of where they were from. I also ordered the shrimp ceviche with plantains, it was good with a decent amount of shrimp but I felt like there could be more, and the plantain chips took up the majority of the dish to make it look bigger. It's a great idea & taste, but could be executed much better. I tried their Dragon's Kiss for a drink which I liked. I forgot our servers name, she was nice but I did feel like she had wanted me to order more for a bigger tip. Tip: give great service and you don't have to upsell to get a bigger tip.
