The store was packed full and you couldn't find an employee if the store had been on fire. I actually had two employees that walked away from me because I needed help. It was like we were inconveniencing them. I couldn't find where to have the fabric cut and an employee told me to go upfront and find a small table. Lol yeah this place is pathetic! Such a great craft store . I wanted an Archival pen which I didn't find exactly what I need... butI found jingle bells and sparkling letters and things to make homemade cards & signs! I also found great inspiration to make future crafts! This store has everything you never thought you needed including storage containers for when you're ready to take Christmas down ;) Friendly front cashier staff as well. Michaels have almost everything you need as an artist, from paints to canvas to frames. There are things like beads, glitters, styrofoam, wood, glued and glass! Too many things to mention here! Their employees are helpful and pleasant and willing to assist with any questions you have! This is a large store and there is plenty of parking. read more

I could spend hours in this store. The aisles are so organized I could pretty much find anything that I wanted just by looking at the labels and seeing what is available. The employees are nice and help me out when needed. I spend a lot of time in the journal and art supplies section and they always have what I need. This is a pretty darn good store. It's always clean and organized. Once I find my way around, it's pretty easy to find what I need and I didn't ever see that there was anything out of stock. I enjoy going into this store and finding things I didn't know I needed. There is a great selection of paints and colored pencils. I am always awed by the yarn collection and wish I had the time to crochet something - ANYTHING. Review for Framing: 5 stars Teri at Michaels absolutely killed it with our four framing projects. I used to think you had to go to boutique framers and spend a ton of money to get a quality framing job but I really don't plan to go anywhere but here from now on. We brought in 4 items for framing - a print, a poster, a painting and a drawing and all of them turned out amazing (see pictures). We had held onto 2 special posters to take to a framing gallery but after getting these others back we have decided to just take them in as well. The only thing I will say is that it isn't significantly cheaper at Michael's. The 4 items were just under $800. read more

Do not order anything Online Their customer service is ridiculous You can't call them everything's done online. So I ordered 17 rolls of yarn and I was missing an item. It should have been easy to get it shipping but no. I will never order again. read more

This morning my wife and I stopped at the store in Camp Hill PA to order some custom cut matting materials. We were told by an employee the production person would not be in until 1:00. She offered to take order although she admitted she was real knowledgeable in that area. Very understandable and we decided to return and talk directly to the production person. We returned in the area on 1:45 that afternoon. Nobody was at the counter, my wife rang the counter bell with no response. I looked into the work room and saw the young male on the phone. He looked at me and continued his conversation. I continued to stand where he could see me. My wife walked over and he looked at her. He continued his conversation. Two other customers came looking for assistance, my wife rang the bell again. He continued his phone conversation. While us and 3 other customers waited another employee walked pass and made a comment that there was a line at the framing counter. I told her we had been waiting for no less than 15 minutes for the person to get off the phone and wait on us. That employee walked over and looked in the work room, came back and said he's making a phone call. I told he had been on the phone for no less than 15 minutes. She left. So did we. Can't complain about the service...we didn't receive any. read more

Steve's review really gives the best rundown of this place. I like this store because they have a wide variety of things for all kinda of hobbies, whether you make jewelry, scrapbook, crochet, do cross stitch, etc. The employees are very helpful as well if you're looking for something specific. I'll caution you, though, you should know what the real name of the product is that you want. Don't be like me and tell an employee you're looking for "teeny tiny pins you can do crafts with" and expect them to know you're specifically referring to sequin pins. What you can't find here is fabric, like you would at Joann's. If sewing is more your thing, this place really won't give you what you want. Otherwise it's great! read more

Marsha is the worst, rude store manager and the liar at Camp Hill Michaels store. On Dec 14 and Dec 16 I spent $300 for Christmas items in the store. I specifically asked If I would be able to return any of items if I do not need it. I was informed by young lady at cashiers that I can return anything. All items on my receipts had returnable value. On January 14 I wanted to return only 1 item of app. $12 returnable value. Store Manager Marsha informed that I purchased clearance Christmas items, so I can not return. I explained to Marsha that back in December I did not purchase clearance items; I showed her receipt where clearly items were not clearance and had returnable value. Other store cashiers told Marsha the same, Marsha ignored that. Marsha believes that she is the manager, so she can make all decisions, she is rude and she lies. She should not be teaching other employees how to do business; she has no skills how to deal with customers. read more

Not a bad place if you are looking for basic A&C supplies. They have a framing shop in the back, and a Design center in the middle of the store surrounded by fake flower arrangements. Lining the sides are different categories of things ranging from Cookware to Scrap-booking to Candle making. A great place to go to in order to help your kid's school project become a reality. There were a bunch of parents getting drug around by the wrists while my wife and I shopped around. The staff knows most of the locations for various items you may ask for and are friendly. The only negative is for the hardcore enthusiast, you probably won't find that special type of paint or paintbrush you are looking for. read more
